Стоит отметить, что из-за его "Огненной" рукояти, он не отображает на себе другие чанты. Что довольно полезный бонус для тех, кому не хочется смотреть на постоянно мерцающую анимацию той или иной чарки.

Compared to other weapons that are attainable at this level (
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30058#M0z
).
This one is the better choice for the Sunder/Heroic Strike combo-spammer. For those more fond of Devastate the Mallet of the Tides, would be the way to go for the slower speed and higher top-end damage, though you lose out on +7 defense and +7 weapon skill.
When it comes down to it, it's really a toss up between what you have available to you and your race. Where-as a human would gain more from the Mallet of the Tides, an orc will gain more from this weapon.

Take a look at the average speeds of the 70+ raid "tank" weapons and compare with the old 60+ crop. There's a definite trend: 1.9-2.0 is out, 1.6-1.7 is in. Damage ranges also narrow as you move further into endgame. This seems to indicate that tank weapon design is leaning more and more towards control and predictability, further supported by the absence of a proc-centric 70+ tank weapon.

Not to mention that on Orc tanks all the+axes(racial) really helps threat generation.

Mongoose enchant doesn't show up on this weapon. Probably because there is a red glow on the handgrip.

Items like
The Brutalizer
,
Mallet of the Tides
, and
Gauntlets of Enforcement
will only become increasingly valuable in patch 2.3, and with the next patch's introduction of more badge rewards such as
Brooch of Deftness
and
Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx
, capping your expertise for tanking will be an easy feat. Why do this?
When a boss parries your attack, its next swing acts as a sort of "counter-attack", decreasing the time between the previous swing and the next swing by as much as 50%. This can be devastating when combined with unlucky, unpreventable crushing blows and/or instant boss abilities. With expertise, this becomes much less of a problem as you are able to bypass the boss's chance to parry your attacks. Hard hitting bosses like Gruul, Morogrim Tidewalker, and Mother Shahraz, some who are also able to do multiple abilities at once, will not be able to screw over your raid as often as they did before. Pre-nerf, Mother Shahraz was able to insta-gib a fully BT geared warrior doing everything properly at a much more frequent rate than any other boss to my knowledge.
I have lost count of the number of times I have seen a tank die, looked at a WWS meter for the night, and noticed that there was only a second between two attacks as a result of the boss parrying the tanks attack.
However, this is not the only reason to stack expertise. With the large reduction of Dodge and Parry, one can expect much higher threat generation rates. With more threat comes more DPS, with more DPS comes less time you will be wailed on by a boss.
So basically you're drastically increasing your chance to survive as well as drastically increasing your threat generation.
It seems like expertise was made for tanks.
Here's a list of viable tanking items with expertise:
Weapon:
The Brutalizer
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32254
21 Expertise
Mallet of the Tides
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30058
14 Expertise
Neck:
Brooch of Deftness
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33296
21 Expertise
Wrist:
Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33516
22 Expertise
Hands:
Gauntlets of Enforcement
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32280
21 Expertise
It is possible to attain an expertise rating of 85 with pure tanking gear. That is -5.45% Dodge and Parry.

Best tanking weapon around unless you are a human It isn't unique, so if it drops again sometime and there is no one that can use it, take it and use mongoose on one, executioner on the other, it's quite worth it on threat-races/trash.

Confirmed executioner still does not show up on this weapon. Also there is no visible proc like with mongoose. Nonetheless it is a great weapon /enchant combination for threat generation.

If you're an Orc, you'll want to use
The Brutalizer
because of your passive racial ability
Axe Specialization
If you're a Human, you'll want to use
The Unbreakable Will
because of your passive racial ability
Sword Specialization
.
If you're neither human nor orc, then it's a matter of the situation in which you're tanking: Threat-senstive fights would benefit more from the additional TPS that The Brutalizer offers, while bosses who gleefully pound your face in would generally be better faced with the additional effective health that The Unbreakable Will grants.

Also note that 21 Expertise Rating gives 5 actual expertise points.
Unbreakable Will:
112-209 damage 1.60 speed
308 Armor
33 Stamina
21 Defense
So for a human warrior, the Unbreakable Will from Anetheron in Hyjal gives a 308 armor bonus along with slightly higher top end damage, trading off 1 defense rating point and higher low end damage (as well as a more narrow hit range).
If you have access to both (and maybe the guild bank's enchanting tab... :D), I'd get this for a some-mitigation-threat-gen weapon and put an executioner on it, and the Unbreakable Will with Mongoose as your Brutallus weapon.

Come patch 3.0, this will be a very nice weapon for paladin tanking. Expertise is a great threat stat, and the defense will make up for the defense lost with the Anticipation changes. Now that they've normalized the damage on Hammer of the Righteous, the base DPS is fantastic.
