Я вот открыв ящик и увидев в нем две накидки не взял их сразу, а полез в ачивы смотреть сколько у меня там накопилось накидок, чтобы отследить момент прибавления этих двух... В результате окно сундука исчезло... вместе с накидками.. и чо делать? Квест же не повторишь... Как вернуть накидки?

Если потеряли или удалили, накидку можно вернуть у любого продавца гербовых накидок.

Делаем квест, НЕ открываем полученную коробку

Отключаем автолут!

Идем к вендору табард, говорим с ним

Открываем коробку, если видим там фиолетовую, то нажимаем у вендора что потеряли зелёную.

Соответственно наоборот.

Лутаем табарду с коробки.

Теперь у вас 2 уникальные табарды.

Я сделал так:
Взял квест, сунул сундук в банк, теперь при обращении к продавцу накидок мне предлагают обе восстановить. Если взять одну - вторая пропадает. Если выкинуть - снова предлагает одну из двух взять. Додридж@Ясеневый лес.

для того, чтобы получить одновременно две накидки делаем следующее:
1. выкидываем накидку которая у вас есть
2. получаем у продавца накидку противоположного цвета
3. восстанавливаем через https://eu.battle.net/support/ru/restoration удаленную первую накидку

Кстати, как и писал уже Screamka есть возможность заполучить обе накидки. Выполнив квест и получив за него награду, не открывая Подношение Ша'тар подходим к Линса и говорим, что потеряли одну из накидок. Выбираем у неё какую нам нужно и только после этого открываем Подношение Ша'тар. Если в нём окажется точно такого же цвета, то выкидываем ту, что взяли у вендора и берём другую, после снова открываем Подношение Ша'тар и вуаля, у Вас Фиолетовая трофейная гербовая накидка Иллидари и Зеленая трофейная гербовая накидка Иллидари!

в реалиях 7.0.3 за выполнения квеста дают сразу 2 табарды :)

Халява.
Получение заняло около пяти минут. Зря откладывал.
Сожрал душу зверька Потрескавшийся череп некролита, поплакал - вошёл в портал к Черному храму, прилетел на место 52 68. Хлопнул первый пак, не глядя - там Вал'зарек Завоеватель нужный оказался. Сразу Записи Вал'зарека выпал, квест на автопринятии.
Дальше мобы практически от моего присутствия мёрли, жалко их.
Получение заняло около пяти минут.
Ожидал более эпичного квеста. Зато сдавать у самого Адала, уважуха к нему, не знаю почему.
Дают сразу обе накидки в сумку. Продать нельзя, только выкинуть.

If you don't get what you want the first time, DO NOT loot the box and wait 2 hrs, every chest resets after 1-2 hrs, you will get what you want eventually.

Of three seventies I've completed this questline on, I've gotten zero Green Trophy Tabard of the Illidari. I've tried every one of the aforementioned so-called-tricks in effort to change the purple contents of my offering, but to no avail.

Alas, patch 3.0.2 hits. While reading through the patch notes I find:

Lost tabards (one time quest rewards) may now be restored by visiting a tabard vendor.

A glimmer of hope maybe? I delete my Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari and go to talk to Lyesa Steelbrow in the Ironforge Visitor's Center. She shows two options:

I've lost my Green Trophy Tabard of the Illidari.
I've lost my Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari.

Bingo.

Summary: You may now switch between the purple and green tabards by destroying your current tabard and talking to any tabard vendor.

If you have not done the quest yet or have not looted the Offering of Sha'tar you can get both!
I did the quest a while back and never took the green tabard out of the box (I was ^&*!y i didn't get purple >:P). Then yesterday I went to the tabard vendor in Dalaran to try to buy some of the new factions tabards (you can't there) and there were both options to get either the green or purple tabard if you've "lost" them. Clicked the one for purple, got it, ran to bank, opened box and got the green one too! :D

out of curiosity, can you get both tabards by asking the tabard vender to replace both of them, or can you only have one at a time as if you did the quest "as intended" ?

Once you ask him to give you one of them back, the dialogue option to replace your trophy tabards goes away. It actually appears as three separate options when you talk to him without one - the "let me browse your wares" option that shows you normal purchasable tabards, one that says something along the lines of "I seem to have lost my Green Trophy Tabard of the Illidari," and one that says "I seem to have lost my Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari."

Picking one of the latter two puts a trophy tabard in your inventory and then changes him back to just selling tabards. So I'd surmise that SorayaNorg's method listed just above is probably the best way, possibly the only way, to get both.

Just in case anybody is curious, if you delete one Illidari tabard, then take the other, it will count as 2 separate tabards for the achievements. Makes sense, but I thought Blizzard might put in a protection against that, but they did not.

Ok - here is how i got both. Do quest, get the box, dont open yet.

Go to dalaran visitor center, and turn auto-loot OFF

talk to NPC, and open the quest box, see if it is the green or if it is purple.

with the loot-window OPEN at same time as NPC window, select the one NOT in the box of corse. then simple grab the one from loot window. you when then have 2x tabards from one quest.

thats probly easiest way for me to explain this.

As of 2/18/09 the trick to receive both tabards is still working :)
I just completed the quest, took maybe 10 minutes total including travel, got ~17g and 2 great looking tabards.

Only trouble is.. which one do i favor? XD

I just did this today with my friend. 5/3/2009
While AUTO-LOOT off, I viewed my tabard, it was the Green Tabard. Went to SW Visitor's Center, Clicked on Rebecca and in the first trade screen that pops up you get the choice to choose:

Ive lost my Purple Trophy of the Illidari, or
Ive lost my Green Trophy of the Illidari

I chose the Purple Tabard from Rebecca since the green was still UN-LOOTED in its container in my bag. As soon as Rebecca gave me the purple tabard I then looted the green from my bag.

Woot! two tabards ^_^

In case you need this for 25 tabards achievement, you can destroy the one you previously received and ask for a new one. The achievement doesn't require you to currently posses the tabards.

Actually. Just get your tabard from the chest. Destory it. Get the other one from the tabard vendor. It counts as two tabards that way. Much easier. Promise it works.

My question is can you destroy it more than once? I want to free up the bank space but would like to be able to go back and get it again should I want to sport it. Can anyone advise one way or another?

Yes you can destroy more than once, and still get them anytime later. The game knows you have completed the quest, and offers you the quested tabard if you don't have them in inventory.

Just checked today, you can still switch between green and purple tabard anytime, and both will count as 2 toward tabard achievement. So be sure to abuse this if you're trying for tabard achievement ;)

Checked this again on 2-8-2010. Idk what freakin patch number it is, but the lich king has JUST been released. That will serve as a good reference.

Wanted the purple tabard because it is the same color purple as the Mage's T-10 Chestpiece (fron frost badges). Sadly, I was given the green tabard as my reward.

FEAR NOT! I threw it away. (Banking it doesnt work, you have to THROW IT AWAY!) I went to the tabard vender (right next to the "Guild Master" ask a guard for directions.)

Pick the Tabard you want from the 2 choices.

All done! Matching Tabard for all you crack-happy T-10 mages out there. (and anyone else not happy with their reward =P )

Confirmed as of May 4th 2010

You can DESTROY either tabard and go to Dalaran Visitor Center and get the same or the other tabard from the Tabard Vendor.

This was done on HORDE side, as I see most of the info on here is for the Stormwind tabard vendor.

It works in Dalaran for Horde.

It's been a while since anyone has updated... But you can STILL get whatever color tabard you want. If you aren't happy with the one you got just destroy it and go to the tabard vendor in Dalaran and she will have two options aside from purchasing tabards. I took a risk because I didn't think it would work but went ahead with it... Now I have the purple one ^.^

Still works as of 4/26/11. Deleted the tabard, spoke with the tabard vendor in Stormwind. Options in the dialogue "I've lost my green/purple tabard of the Illidari". Select the color of your choice. Once you spawn the tabard the option again goes hidden.

Works as of 4.3.2. I tried it just now deleted the green tabard, talked to the designer and got the latter tabard.

There is now another way to obtain both tabards, for those of you who like myself, had already looted one of the two tabards from the container before reading the comments here.

Destroy your current tabard, use Blizzard's new item restoration service to have it mailed back to you, have the tabard vendor return you the other color tabard, and then go get your original tabard from your mailbox that the Blizzard item restoration service sent you.

I tried it today and can confirm that it works. I have both of the tabards in my inventory.

You can delete your tabard and get either color any time from the SW tabard vendor. Tested and working as of 5/5/2013 on 5.2 US Servers.

I can confirm even after doing the quest and getting your first tabard you can still get the other simply destroy the one you have go to tabard vendor and pick the other now go to item restoration on Blizzard site and ask to have the one you destroyed restored you will get it in the mail now you got both.

I can only assume that this tabard, or its green equivalent, will be a must have for a number of demon hunter players. Especially if they choose to wear sets that cover their tattoos. They will be illidari after all.

Just completed this on 7/30/16 and instead of getting Offering of the Sha'tar I was awarded both tabards. Both tabards were also added to my wardrobe so no need to do vendor tricks anymore.

Demon Hunters looking to "represent" their Faction will find this item and its counterpart deceptively easy to obtain - no long questlines, just a single mob drop that leads to two quests that are laughably easy at your level. For Transmogrification purposes, Shroud of the Highborne and Illidari Warglaives match perfectly with it.
