Я думаю мне никто не запретит выразить своё мнение... Я не обижусь, если данный комментарий заминисуют, но всё же! По мне, этот меч никак не тянет на "'лучший меч в игре, в БК''... Плюс этого меча еще и в том, что он похож именно на меч. В упрек пандарейским моделям сказано, ибо там мечи перестали быть похожими на мечи, а стали ключами от гаражей и прочей унылостью

Fantastic weapon for PvP and PvE MS-Slam Spec alike. The 3.50 speed brings it to just over 3.00 speed when 3pt Flurry procs (assuming a 33/28/0 build) which leaves ample time for a Auto-Slam-MS, Auto-Slam-WW rotation.
With a 31/30/0 build, the swing speed still remains over the 2.50 mark which is the sweet spot for being able to effectively use a slam rotation (any less, and the GCD will make you delay autoattacks, effectively lowering your dps.)

This weapon is better suited for an MS warrior over a BE Ret paladin. Alliance paladins come in last.

This is because sword spec is the best spec for an MS warrior, followed by Polearm/Axe spec. MS Warriors should not use maces unless there is no alternative, so swords are their best option for damage.

BE Ret paladins can use the badge axe and get nearly identical results. Still, they come in second place, since the faster speed (3.5) won't hurt them, even though they have no weapon specialization to make swords superior to maces, polearms or axes.

Alliance paladins should come in 3rd, since their Seal of Command proc rate is affected by weapon speed, and this weapon's faster speed will reduce their SoC proc rate 8.6% when compared to ToTD.

So, all things being equal: MS Warrior > Belf Paladin > Alliance Paladin.

Needless to say, this is one of those things that Arms Warriors and Retadins agree on: it's an amazing 2-hander capable of high damage in the hands of either of the two classes. As an arms warrior, i naturally believe this is a weapon meant for me but it's really very good for Retadins, too. The strength and stamina are amazing and the armor penetration is very usefull. It's safe to say the speed on this thing is just a little dissapointing for Arms Warriors; a speed closer to 3.70 would have delivered much heavier damage (this is no doubt the reason that the speed is 3.50; Blizzard has to keep the game fair, and this with 3.70 would have been just a little too good.)
However, all-in-all, due to the DPS and damage range, this is still the best MS weapon in game (with the exception of Apolyon, the Sould Render, a weapon that is almost nigh impossible to get because it drops off Kil'jaeden)

Cataclysm's Edge is good weapon. I more like Apolyon, the Soul-Render. Only Apylion is hard to get. (Low Droop %)
Cataklism Edge is good for PvP, my friend have that and he likes that weapon.

I can confirm that this is infact lootable in 4.2.

I recently ran both SWP + Hyjal on my twink DK and saw this drop. If you're going for this for transmogrification, thats fine, but if you're a twink, you should know that there is a better alternative to this and the T6 Brutal 2H. It's Apolyon, a 3 slotted sword which effectively gives you ~60 of any stat w/ 126 ap and secondary stats. It's also a bit higher in terms of ilevel. Here's are links for lvl 70 twink 2h weapons for comparison.

Get ready for a very long - and frustrating - grind if you're planning on getting this wep for xmog. I've done it 6 weeks in a row on my Pally, and have yet to see one.

First time i ever ran that raid, and this weapon drops :)

All the bosses are extremely easy as level 90 - probably the easiest TBC raid to solo.

For those who are new to the instance, keep in mind that Archimonde is the one who drops this sword and not Каз'рогал, who is actually shown carrying it.

Why Blizz did this, I'll never know.

Got this on my 5th run, was worth it. The simplicity of the design of the sword itself coupled with the contrasting white and gold/yellow make this one of my favourite weapons in the game(along with the black diamond accents), the gold/yellow parts will also reflect light which gives it a simulated glowing appearance at the right angle.

Hyjal is a long and boring raid to farm these days, with this great looking sword at the very end of it. This is one of the better swords that fit a red themed mog set, and overall is worth doing a few Hyjal runs to try and get it. You will also obtain Exalted with this raid's faction simply by killing the trash and bosses.
