To Obtain this axe you have to finish the Nexus-King Salhadaar quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10408 which is a group quest (suggested 5 players) in Netherstorm, and starts with the quest: The Ethereum (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10339) given by Commander Ameer (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=20448).

The Fight is straight forward, you clear the area, have the tank melee the Nexus-King and switch to killing adds when they pop. There is a good strategy on the quest page. Other rewards from this quest include:
-Ameer's Impulse Taser (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30011).
-Amer's Judgement (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30012).
-Fleshling Simulation Staff (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30010).

This is a very good axe. Not as high DPS as most 70 2h weapons, but the hit/expertise are what make it good (about 1 and a half % chance to hit and 4% dodge/parry reduction).

This axes model is 100% unique and that is precisely why I will acquire it on my warrior and paladin (after level 80 so I can simply solo it) and finally on my DK hopefully while leveling to use it or just collect it. I already have it on my shaman along with a few other personally iconic weapons such as http://www.wowhead.com/?item=10761 x2 (with icy on both) and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7682 x2 (with fiery on both). I also got a shield with my name on it. And I'm not talking figuratively either, it is literally my first name http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13083 which is named after a family of undead npc's http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=25099, http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=4551, http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=5651 and the odd man out who is not part of that family and uses the name as his first name like myself http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=2622 lol yay my name is in wow! Parts of this resemble the blue axe you get after the Ring of Blood, but only in a few subtle ways, many less ways since I took a closer look at this in the model viewer. And for anyone that's worried about the hot pinkness, look at the draenei, their favorite color when it comes to crystals is pink.

Can't believe it till now, completed this quest on my own... Just for try went to tackle him alone... i am a Lvl 70 protection pally.... only trick i used was to kill add on first, he spawned when he was arnd 60% health....
he was tough.. but then pally rules...

The coloration of this axe perfectly compliments the Ashes of A'lar mount. See the screenshot above (pending approval).

I would love to see this transmogg'ed on a TG fury warrior.
The axe kinda looks like wings on your back since the "blade" connects with the handle pretty much.

Though on my warrior I'm using the T2 look-a-like so wouldn't look that great compared to my weapons...that and I only have the LFR sword.
But, this looks great with my paladin. Kinda small but not bad.
