Это оружие падает с Принца Малчезара в Каражане. Золотая приписка топора гласит:

"Топор Грома Адского Крика сеял ужас на полях сотен сражений."

Да, это клинок самого Грома Адского крика (задиры). Именно этим топором он поверг
демона Маннароха в Ашенвальском лесу. О том ,как этот клинок попал к Малчезару можно только догадываться. Одна из догадок заключается в том, что слишком израненный Тралл не смог вынести из каньона тело Грома, не говоря уж про топор. Вскоре на место гибели Маннароха явились его слуги. Эредар Малчезар явился одним из первых, и решив, что оружие сразившее самого Маннароха обладает по истине колоссальной мощью, забрал его с собой. Но это только догадки...
Свое название топор получил благодаря тому, что в его основании и в рукояти находятся несколько небольших дырочек, и когда Гром поднимал его над головой и вращал им по полю сражения разносился громогласный свист, похожий на вопль ,приводящий врагов в ужас.

Первый противник, очутившийся под рукой, ревел что-то невнятное. Клиновопль вонзился ему прямо в шею, разрезав плоть, кость и сухожилия. Голова отлетела, но рот все еще был раскрыт в вопле, а пена на губах окрасилась кровью. Зеленое тело рухнуло наземь, но противник хотя бы попытался замахнуться молотом прежде, чем упасть. Кровь разбрызгало по лицу Грома, как теплый летний дождь. Он улыбнулся и языком слизал ее с губ. Еще одним Костеглодом меньше.

Он напал быстро и резко. Клиновопль со свистом рассек воздух, поскольку Гром уже прыгнул вперед. Но Хуркан был старый вояка, на сей раз его разум был чист, и он успел увернуться от клинка, чуть было не пронзившего его плечо, да еще и повернулся в сторону, ударив Грома кулаком по щеке. Удар вышел весьма болезненным, но Гром проигнорировал боль. Хуркан поднял дубину убитого им воина и замахнулся на противника. Гром отскочил в сторону, едва не получив в грудь, и накинулся вновь. Клиновопль достал правую руку Хуркана, отрезав кусок плоти.

Не постигнет ли этот топор такой же участи, как Оскверненный Испепелитель? Ясных ответов я не слышал и по этому осмелюсь предположить, что этот топор с выходом 6.0 уберут из игры ибо сам Громмаш будет бегать с ним по Дренору (Имхо).

Первый раз убил Малчезара 1 марта 2013 года .Сегодня, спустя почти год, топор всё-таки упал... радости полные штаны... одно из немногих достойных, которые достойны, чтобы стать легендой, одно из немногих, которое было осквернено... оружие.Никакие паладины и ДК не имеют права носить его. Только воины, которые солируют Каражан только ради него, не юзая никакой баг с текстурами, достойны права обладать сим чудом, гением дизайнерской мысли близзард.

Этот топор из разряда тех оружий, которым нужен особый статус.
4 самых значимых оружия, повлиявших на ход истории Азерота со времен WC III:
Для людей - Испепелитель.
Для нежити - Фростморн.
Для ночных эльфов (оружием явился лишь косвенно, способствовав уничтожению Архимонда) -Легендарный горн Кенариуса, которым были призваны светлячки, уничтожившие Архимонда.
И как несложно догадаться, для Орды таковым оружием является именно данный топор.

Оружие падает с Принца Малчезара в Каражане.
Многие гадали, как и зачем этот топор мог попасть к принцу Малчезару.
Но в карточной игре от Близов есть карта оружия, которое падает с босса - Правосудие Света - http://ru.hearthhead.com/card=383 , описание дает нам понять что Малчезар был неравнодушен к железкам и очень любил свою коллекцию, а также раскрывает секрет, зачем ему топорик.
Но как именно Кровавый вой попал к нему - остается тайной.

Первый раз топор увидел еще в актуале, когда его получил вар, и понял, я должен его получить. Сколько ходил - всё не везло, повезло только под конец "Катаклизма", и по сей день хожу только с ним. Да, может он и не имеет текстур высокого разрешения, но факт что чей это топор, и какие подвоги совершил его хозяин в руках с этим топором - перевешивает любые "визуальные" минусы (хоть я лично и не считаю их за минусы, но всё же 15й год, и некоторым охото видеть ХД качество).
Любитель фанатской атрибутики и не только, с премиум фигуркой Garrosh Hellscream, от DC UNLIMITED, в комплекте идёт этот легендарный топор. Как владелец могу с увереностью сказать что топор выполнен очень качественно, и довольно внушительно выглядит.

Во время MoP считалось, что топор был осквернен Ша, призванными Гаррош Адский Крик , и стал называться Ксал'ато, оскверненный образ Кровавого воя . Но после прохождения Осада Оргриммара возле Гаррош Адский Крик лежал обычный Кровавый вой . Вот именно поэтому Кровавый вой до сих пор не удален. Ксал'ато, оскверненный образ Кровавого воя же в свою очередь дропался с Гаррош Адский Крик в Осада Оргриммара до WoD.

I agree with Toker, IF they allow Icecrowne do become a new continent in the next expansion, and IF they make Arthas, or now "The Lich King" the end boss, Frostmourne should drop, and it would have to be extremely powerful, and as he already said, an Artifact. I am disappointed they did not buff Grom's axe a bit more, being that he slayed Mannaroth in a single blow. That statement however, credits Hyle in that: Grom was an extremely powerful warrior, and with HIS strength, he was allowed to slay Mannaroth... Among other things, my friends and myself have debated over the possible "Equip" effects of the sword Frostmourne. Will it have the Equip ability to currupt the user as it did Arthas? Or... with the slaying of the Lich King, will it just merely become a powerful melee 2hander?

Not sure why people feel Grom's axe should be legendary when weapons once held by legendary characters like ashbringer (in its current form) and Ashkandi are epics. The power was not in the weapons but the men who wielded them. I think this weapon is great as is

I find it very true that Groms axe should not be legendary.. His axe alone do not have Lore of its own.. Groms fury and power was the force that killed Mannaroth. Frostmourne however is another chase.. It has its own Lore and should by far be legendary if not more.. But i still consider if it should even be a drop.. Lore in warcraft 3 was that Arthas was loosing the battle, and almost all hope was out.. Then he finds Frostmourne, and the sword "ALONE" turn the tide of the batte.. Furthermore the sword turns Arthas agains his own heart..

Frostmourne is the single mightiest weapon ever..
Just for a sec, consider the CoH that weapon should have.. Even consider the dmg.. Nothing we know of at the moment should be even close to Frostmourne..

Groms axe dont have anything like this..
Hand of Ragnaros; well it was legendary because it was the ultimative weap at that time when we only had MC.. It was the very weapon of the mightiest boss we could face...

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker; came with BWL, but history lagged quite a lot on that one; specally with the welp of a boss you have to fight in the end..

Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian; The staff of the last guardian, wich included both AQ, Naxx, Argent Dawn and Stratholme.. Story goes it was the greatest staff of all.. Worn by the last guardian of Azeroth.. He was possed by the very Dark Titan Sargaras, the sworn enemy of the univers.. His staff was shattered and 40 pieces was in Naxx, 1 more from KT and last was from C'Thun in AQ.. It was a great story.. One of a kind..

All had great stories but Groms axe cannot be compared with thise..

Comparing this with Mooncleaver for lovers of axespec, the main difference is the stamina.

Mooncleaver has more damage and about 1% more crit. Gorehowl has stam, and also over 1% dodge from the agil. AP bonus is nearly the same.

Why this axe is better than you think in PvE. Its a pure stat weapon, which means the strength, agility and stamina are all effected by blessing of kings. Which means if your in a half decent 25 man raiding guild, the stats on this weapon are always going to be 10% better in a raid. Pretty nice imo. Where as Mooncleaver has no pure stats on it what so ever.

So yeh they are pretty similar, but im taking Gorehowl for when i get my TK attuments done and can finally get back to 33/28 spec :) as i am no a blacksmither.

If you have WC3, complete the orc campain and watch the cinematic of Thrall and Grom at the end, you can see the axe Grom has looks exactly the same.
im glad blizzard have kept it the same, brings more of a history to the axe for Wc3 players.

Great overall option for an Arms warrior who didn't take up Blacksmithing. It's too bad they didn't keep the Legendary version of Grom's axe though. Hahaha, I would have loved to see a warrior chopping up "squishies" with it.

As an enhancement shaman, I was also outrolled on this by a hunter on the basis that I didn't need it for PvE. He was "upgrading" from a sonic spear. -.-

Strength is a really important stat for hunters, I've heard.

Drops off Prince Malcheezar in Karazhan, This is by far one of the best 2h weapons for a dps warrior untill you start raiding 25 mans, and is still better than some 25 man 2h weapons, such as pit of the glaive.

our guild currently has 2 teams running Kara clearing to prince every week. For 10 man's rolling is fine, but i always have it set to master loot, so that if a situation like that one arises i can make the judgment call and give gear to the class that can best utilize it.

granted Kara is a raid situation, but if your guild operates like it should, i.e. a group of friends enjoying a video game and working toward a common goal, then in a 10 man instance rolls should be fine. It helps if the raid leader isn't an idiot and leaves it on Group loot so huntards can roll on warrior gear.

i will agree this is not the axe that a hunter should get first roll on a enhancment shammy pallyor warrior would find much better use but if noone wants it or what they have is better then i think a hunter should get this first strength increases your total damage output and agility directly increasesyour critical chance percentage and attack power (the ratio i believe is 1 agility= 1 attack power) and stamina increases your total health by 510 and ahunters pet by a small amount ( not sure how much) therefore this would be a great hunters weapon if a melee class did not need it

This axe is terrible for hunters. If you're a hunter and your guild is doing Karazhan, if you do not have a Sonic Spear (or one like it) then you aren't doing your part for the team in Karazhan. You need to step back, go do the 5 mans and get some +hit items, because you're not likely helping as much as getting "Carried"

Simple as that, the Hit on Sonic Spear will help you a helluva lot more than STR on Gorehowl...oh, for pvp? Go do arena and get an arena weapon, or you can always just take loot "by default" and be carried =/

Go farm SL for Sonic Spear, buy your HH/Thrallmar spear or hope Legacy drops. Any of them are much better IMO.

Got this as a level 70 Hunter, and no, it isn't comparable to sonic spear, which you should have by the time you hit karazhan. Me stupidly thinking 'oh look, it has more agi than sonic spear' is a bad way to compare.. only managed to justify it now by paying for an agi enchant, which just about make it the same (my +hit rating being fine anyway). If I could go back and change time, I'd throw it to a shammie every time.

Im a survival hunter as well, and by no means is 3 agi (.87 ap per physical ) worth the 80 ap on Legacy.. unless you're suggesting your kara now has 92.75 physical dpsers? (Slightly less if there are dual wielders); Not to mention the mp5 of Legacy puts it that much further ahead.

(Sorry if this seems like a flame, I'm just strongly hoping hunters wont take this axe unless 1. they somehow are very unlucky on getting sonic spear or legacy or 2. Nobody else can take it and your guild doesn't need voids :P (Because this axe looks sweet)

One thing to consider in comparisons with other two-handed axes of similar dps is that Gorehowl confers a mass of basic attribute bonuses which can be further enhanced by a Paladin's Blessing of Kings as opposed to secondary attributes like AP, crit rating, etc. which remain static.

How does this compare to Mooncleaver for a MS / Flurry warrior?
And what enchant should I save up for? Executioner is what I am looking at. Many still tell me to go for Mongoose and some still say to go for Savagery. What do you people say?

Tonight marked a moment in history for my guild; we downed the Prince for the first time. This sweet little thing dropped to make it all the more worthwhile.

Now, I am a retribution pally, and I cannot decide between either this or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28429. But since this axe has an abundant chunk of stamina, I think it has a pre-destined use in at _least_ PvP...

Better than gladiator's bonegrinder (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28299) for a shaman. Tho gladiator's item is maybe easier to obtain in patch 2.3.

Comparing (stats this gives to shaman):

Gorehowl

98 ap
510 health
1.72% crit and dodge

Gladiator's bonegrinder

64 ap
480 health
1.59% crit
1.27% hit

So gorehowl gives you:

+34ap
+30 health
+0.13% crit
+1.72% dodge
-1.27% hit

You can make yourself the decision, but I would personally go for gorehowl.

Comparing Gorehowl and Glaive of the Pit (in Warrior/Ret Paladin terms):

Gorehowl:

49 STR = 98 / 107.8 Attack power = 7 / 7.7 Increased DPS - a raw 127.7 / 128.4 dps.
43 AGI = 1.303/1.72 Crit, 86 armor, and 1.433/1.72 Dodge.
51 STA = 510 HP

Glaive of the Pit:

3x Red Gem slots.

Anywhere from 24 STR to 12 STR / 12 Crit Rating- there's a broad spectrum of how you can flex this weapon.

24 STR = 48 / 52.8 AP = 3.42 / 3.77 DPS - a raw 123.12 / 123.47 DPS
4 Crit Rating = .1695 % to Critical Strike.

*2 PPM on 3.7 = 12.33% chance to deal 283-315 Shadow damage / Heal per hit. *

Over 60 seconds- 10 Crusader Strikes, 16.2 White Swings, ( 16 x .43209 ) = 6.91 Seal of Command.
10+16.2+6.91 = 33.11 x .1233 = 4.082 x 285-315 = 1163.5 - 1285.83 DPM / 60 = 19.3916 - 21.4305 DPS (!!) x .95 (5% resist) 18.422 - 20.359 DPS = AVG 19.3905 DPS and 96.95 hp5

I'm not a math genius but I think that's technically correct.

SO

Gorehowl - 127.7 / 128.4 Final DPS + 510 HP + ~1.5% Crit.
Glaive of the Pit - 142.51 / 142.86 Final DPS + 97 hp5 + Very Minor Crit

And Glaive has higher Top-End.

I pick Glaive for PvE thanks.

Why would a shaman choose gorehowl over a bonegrinder? They're both obviously only viable in pvp, 2h dps is terrible for pve. The resilience on the Bonegrinder is more than worth it.

It's rubbish if you say a hunter should pass this axe, in my opinion.

I am a hunter myself, and if I would get the chance to roll on this weapon, I would gladly roll need. It's not about the stats, since I would hardly use it in normal raids/dungeons/whatever else, but it's because this axe once belonged to one of the greatest warriors in the whole orcish history. I'm a great warcraft fan, so if someone ever notices a person like me rolling need on this, the fact that it's an monumental axe would be a good reason.

Enough said, lets do Karazhan!

This dropped recently for my run. Had a retri pally and a hunter beg for this, I gave it to the pally without even giving the hunter a chance to roll. The hunter was %^&*ed, til the rest of the guild pointed out that it sucked for him. The retri pally was, however, VERY happy.

If your a shaman stick with 2 1h weapons,why else do you think that Blizzard Entertainment made it that shamans can dual-weild?

Blizzard Also made that shamans can use 2h maces and axes. I'v seen some pretty nice dps with 2h PvE, though 1h's Will Win.

On the other hand, 2h shaman is PvP gold, aswell as 1'hs, Many guilds give their MainTank a large shiney axe purely for the purposes of PvP...

Ofcourse, if someone who could benefit from having it in PvE i would let them take it, But if it outranks their current weapon, i will give it to Someone who is in need of a PvP weapon and would make good use of it.

a very wise thing to do is to give this to a retri paladin since they only can do dps with a 2h and the warriors/shammans can dual-weild so if they have 2 pretty nice 1h:s give this to a pally FFS

mongoose does look pretty sick on gorehowl, but for looks alone I prefer savagery, it looks insane dripping blood, it's also not unique, which interests me, and makes me think they may improve it later on, and possibly let you dual wield it in Wotlk, if ever I wanted my warrior made into a rl figure, I'd want him holding 2 gorehowls both dripping blood, with the horseman's helm on, >:D I hope they do more with his son in wrath, maybe you get to give him gorehowl and he upgrades it or something like that :D

Gorehowl is a weapon of perfection for some warriors that just started Kara / Gruul / Maggy but later on you should pick up in my opinion. Jin'Rohk may be better for a retadin but I still think it's a good warr wepaon with the high raw AP.

I'd say if you don't want to pvp and ya want to level as fury (Warrior shizzle here), Get this and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28794 (Axe of the Gronn lords from Gruul) for your TG and WoTLK leveling needs ;). They both pack quite the kick, and are fairly easily attainable.

We cant make it legandary.. by other means they ( Meaning by blizzard ) cant make it because this axe was just a normal axe .. if you give grom hell scream a pice of candy he still can kill manaroth .. or any one else .. his power of freedom and the faith of rescuing his people made him pew pew with his axe ..

Any human who gets this deserves to be hung in the middle of Orgrimmar.

It's the blade of Grom Hellscream. It's drank in the blood of humans for...well, I don't even know how long.

Everytime I see an Alliance person with this axe...I yell at them. Very loudly.

Now...Hordies who aren't orcs? Eh, I can live with it. They're still the orc's buddies, so it's ok. But...Alliance...uuugh.

Kinda makes me wish they'd make two separate quests; One for Alliance that could give Quel'Zaram (Lothar's weapon), and one for Horde which would give Gorehowl.

But...eh, oh well. Guess it's too late now =/ Probably gonna get down-rated for this anyways...

And also...Frostmourne HAS killed a large amount of people too. It was responsible for the (supposed) death of Muradin Bronzebeard, Arthas' entire kingdom (while the sword didn't do this itself, it DID corrupt Arthas into doing that), a large amount of humans, high elves, orcs (the Blackrock Clan in the Blackrock and Roll, Two! mission), blood elves, naga, some trolls, and some other random things.

Not to mention, in the RPG, you have to be a damn MILE AWAY from the stupid thing to be free again!

And, finally, a few other things...

No, Al'Akir was NOT the Old God of thunder. He wasn't even a GOD of thunder. Heck, thunder wasn't even his ELEMENT! He was the Elemental Lieutenant of WIND.

And, if the Ashbringer was more powerful then Frostmourne, why didn't it kill the Lich King either of the times Tirion used it against him?

First time: Tirion smacked him in the face with it. DIDN'T KILL HIM! All it did was weaken him slightly. AND THAT WAS EVEN ON HOLY GROUND!

Second time: Tirion stabbed Arthas' heart with it. STILL DIDN'T KILL HIM! All it did was bring the Lich King to about 30% health, and even then, the next time you see him, he's at 100% health again!

No, Gorehowl did not kill several Alliance leaders. And for a few reasons, too.

First: Grom was stuck on Draenor for the whole period of the First and Second Wars.

Second: It makes no mention AT ALL of Grom killing ANY Alliance leaders during the Invasion of Draenor, except for ONE! And even then, that was only a lieutenant or something like that; he wasn't the leader of the whole force.

And, the Emerald Glaive you say? No, it did NOT make it so Broxigar would never be tired while slaying demons. NEVER. And I'm very sure, if given the chance, Frostmourne would make the same, single little scratch it made on Sargeras. And, also...Sargeras only took action against him because Brox fricken LEAPT right in front of him. And, lastly, it was mostly just Broxigar's own might that killed all those demons; not the axe itself. Hell, he had similar results with the axe he had during the First, Second, and Third Wars!

Gorchalach and Gorribal...ya, of course they're more powerful. THEY'RE WIELDED BY GODS! As I said before, the guy was kidding. KIDDING. Anyone with ANY common sense AT ALL, could tell he was joking and/or making it sound more glorious then it really was.

So, as I said before, given all that I've said, try to answer those questions I gave you truthfully.

Grom is Thralls bigger brother, slain while protecting him. The axe cut trough Mannaroth polararm killed him whit one hit damn hit. If you go to Ashenvale you can still see the polararm howering in the air in 2 parts. Give it a small proc that do like 700 damage, revmove armor or sumthing and then we are talking Grom Hellscreams axe.
Still, how did Prince Malchezaar get Gorehowl to start whit?

Considering the case of Ashkandi and Ashbringer, Gorehowl being
epic is allright. However, Ashbringer has its own quest line,, and story behind it.

In addition,. you have to remember that Alexandro Morgraine was a mighty paladin,
but Ashbringer itself was extremely powerful weapon created from Atamal crystal.
Since Ashbringer had purifing ability, Morgraine had power against scourge more thatn anyone.

In addition, Andunin Lothar's former blade "Ashkandi" isn't actually clearly
blade of A.L. There was also debate about AL's weapon, since Quel'Serar also
seems to fit one of the blade of AL. ALthough tool tip says A..L inscription,
It isn't clear whether the blade belongs to AL, or was given by AL.

I think one reason people want more from Gorehowl is that it was weapon of
one of the greatest hero in the Horde, but drops from "Nowhere" without any
story behind it. You've goit to agree on the fact that Gorehowl drops from Karathan's
final boss... a Buring Legion's demon is kinda out of nowhere....
While Ashbringer was all mighty weapon in WOW before BC, Gorehowl was
almost "starting Weapon" in BC. That's where people complains about.

I personally want extra quest on Gorehowl to improve the weapon...
Quest's like... Gorehowl's power was sealed away by burning legion, and
Thrall asks to retain it or something of that sort. Although asking this
while WotLK is already out is impossible : (

Let's clear things up about this weapon being in Karazhan. The axe is still where Grom died, This axe is just memory in Karazhan due to the lore of Karazhan having everything from past present future running around this tower. GoreHowl is just a memory in Azeroth. The real axe is still in the canyon.

Grom NEVER encountered Sargeras, especially 10,000 years ago. You are thinking of Broxigar, (older brother) of Saurfang. It was Brox that attacked Sargeras, buying Malfurion the time he needed to close off the portal Sargeras was attempting to enter through.
The closest Grom ever came to Sargeras was when he was interacting with the Legion, either working for them or against them.

I felt the need to correct this so if someone else read that would not be confused. The story of Broxigar can be found the War of the Ancients Trilogy, specifically the third part, The Sundering.

NerArthas'Zul is not the name of the Lich King. The Lich King's name is Sir Arthas Menethill of the great Menethill line of kings which ruled over Lordaeron preWoW. His armor is all that kept Ner'Zul's hold on him. Once the sword was busted and then the crown removed.. back to Arthas he became, although still an undead, even without Ner'Zul.

On a side note: It makes me happy that he died as Arthas Menethill, he was an extrodinary Paladin and would have been a great leader to his people and more. I am however upset that it wasn't the Dark Lady who gave him the final blow. It would have been cool to see her stand over his body and aim an arrow and say "This time, Butcher, the arrow isn't going to be used to paralyze you." or something to that nature.

It's a shame the axe didn't have a chance to have a howling effect on each swing that everyone around you could hear. I remember reading that Grom's axe made a sound of it's own because of the hole when swung, but the idea has never really been visited since in the books or anywhere else if I remember correctly.

As patch 4.1.0 is coming out if you didnt got this axe by now... GO EFFING GET IT!

I mean it, it wont be out much more, blizz is reducing the gold given in karazhan (here you can see by yourself in the dungeons and raids section) so they will notice that there is very important loot in the raid. So as they did with the Corrupted Ashbringer. This one very epic axe wont be out there for ever. And if you are really into lore, take it from the eredar corpse and dont let it keep being in the wrong hands.

This axe was later passed on to Garrosh Hellscream the new leader of the Horde. Because of an argument, Garrosh Hellscream and Cairne Bloodhoof,the former leader of the taurens, had a mak' gara an old orcish duel. In it the combatants could have their weapons enchanted by a shaman. Cairne chose his Bloodhoof Runespear enchanted by Beran Skychaser and Garrosh had his Gorehowl enchanted by Magatha Grimtotem, who did not like Cairne. The enchant made by Magatha turned out to be a poison and with a little strike from Garrosh in the middle of the duel, the powerful buff chieftain fell dead.

The epicness of wielding The Unstoppable Force with the Immovable object was akin to a god... If i recall right there was a quest in TBC where it explained "unusual" activities from Karazhan and how it was more of a vault rather than a library considering the amount of creatures and items it posses.

Burning Legion during the retreat from Kalimdor after battle at Mount Hyjal picked Gorehowl up and stored it in Karazhan after invading it .

Polearm and Gorehowl u see in Demon Canyon is just a timelock magic invented as a reminder , there was even a quest in classic that said that area is controled by "magic means"

This is actually the axe that was once used by Grom Hellscream, father of Garrosh. This axe was also used to slay Cenarius, a demigod, and a pit lord named Mannoroth.

If you want this axe for any reason, I suggest you get it now in Patch 5.3. I have my suspicions that Blizzard will remove this axe in 5.4 because of Garrosh corrupting it.

Back when Karazhan was the first place any new endgame raider was taken by his guild to get his/her initial gear for the Burning Crusade raid progression, I actually 'saved' Gorehowl from being turned into void crystals. I was a holy paladin healer so Gorehowl was never available to us when it dropped, but this time, since every melee player had it already, they decided they would just disenchant it before asking if anyone else would want it, if they can use it.
Of course I actually yelled in vent 'No! Wait! Dam right I want it. It's Gorehowl!'
I still have it to this day in my Paladin's bags. I carry it all the time even if I rarely use it for anything at all.
It DESERVES a better fate than being relegated to a simple void crystal or two, even if it drops often and everyone has it already.

During the fight, Prince Malchezaar has a line where he states that he has control over dimensions. This means he could of obtained Gorehowl from an alternate reality. This is basically their way of making an excuse for giving out Grom's legendary weapon.

With Grom Hellscream being stated as the official final boss in Warlords of Draenor, I can only imagine the bewilderment on Grom's face when, during the final battle against heroes of the Horde/Alliance, some joker opens up his bag and shows Grom his own axe.

Not gonna lie, I would get a kick out of putting it on my Warrior for a little bit and smacking him with it a few times for the laughs. (Transmog of course too!)

Well, those of you who wanted Gorehowl to return as a legendary may be getting your wish with Warlords of Draenor.... Blizzard has already redone the model, and it looks great... and they've also stated that there's a good possibility that Gorehowl may become a legendary in WoD. (Obviously the Gorehowl off of Grom, not the Gorehowl off of Malchezzar).

Now that the legion prepatch is out, and frost dk's can't use 2h weapons at this time(pbth Arthas would never dual wield..) is there any 1h axes that resemble Gorehowl? I wouldn't even know how to research that since they are 2 different weapon classes to even be able to compare to. Thank you.

Confirming that it still drops on 7.0.3 just dropped on my paladin and a nice add to the appearance collection :)

It still drops. It's huge and you'll be surprised with how good it looks.

So.

I've had 6 plate toons parked at Kara's gate for farming Gorehowl and the last piece of the Justicar set for Paladin -wrists from Maiden.

50+ runs at least and nothing.

Two days ago I got both, and TWO GODDAMN GOREHOWLS! FROM THE SAME BOSS!

But at least I'm done with Karazhan.

Nine long years since Warlords of Draenor, the HD version of Gorehowl Кровавый Вой, могущество вождя is finally becoming available in Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5!

It seems likely that it will be a drop from the Time-Lost Battlefield encounter in the Dawn of the Infinites mega-dungeon.
