For the 19 twink, this is about 6 agi in terms of just +crit% and the 3 stam is bonus. This ring gives 0,68% crit chance at lvl 19
Good ring for levling your char, there is a twin ring of this one for spell casters.

Update: When I did post this a year ago, crit was for ranged/melee or spells and I used it for my 19 hunter :)
All this has been changed sins wotlk. And there was no heirlooms for me at that time either.

Lvl 10 melees will want a buddy; Parry chances made this impossible for my 10 druid.
For 10 hunter this was disgustingly easy, no reason to not have this ring

This ring is Best in Slot (BiS) for level 10, and possibly 9 (according to the quest requirements) twinks.

Melee and hunters will want this more than casters, but casters can use this too, Invoker's Signet

For any melee/hunter, Slayer's Band is the best choice.

Sadly, the caster will have to choose between Slayer's Band and Invoker's Signet, both which have superb stats. :(

But with the 'possible' upcoming of new heirloom rings, you'll find melee wielding 2 heirloom rings, and casters wielding 1 heirloom ring, and Invoker's Signet at 9 and 10 (Some may choose the Northrend heirloom ring above Invoker's Signet though).

The Solid Bronze Ring, a crafted ring available on the AH at level 17, is better by +1 Crit. It usually costs less than 1G.

If you can't take these two level 20 elites before level 17, you're probably better off with the crafted ring.

@ 19 this item scales to 4 Stam and 3 Crit.
