Неплохой тринкет в умелых руках, и ужасный во всех остальных случаях.
Плюсы:
Куча Аое урона (прям реально много, в высоких ключах он стабильно наносит 5-8% от оверолл урона за инст что является огромным показателем как для тринкета)
Полный иммун любых абилок врагов которые вас двигают ( последний босс в омутах, червяк в некрополе). Довольно полезно когда тот же червяк засасывает, можно использовать тринкет и спокойно бить его ещё 10 секунд.
Минусы:
У него радиус примерно в 7 метров, то есть использовать его и стоять настреливать с далека не получится ( увы,ханты)
кд 3 минуты, что больше чем у всех дд тринкетов в ДФ
Ну,собственно,сама невозможность двигаться
целых 10! секунд
,что в текущем(первом) сезоне м+ можно пережить только прекрасно понимая все механики боссов и треша. Замечу,что любые способности кроме тех что вас двигают можно нажимать, так что в грамотной пати потери урона не будет за счёт стояния на месте

Кд меньше,стоять на месте не нужно, единственные недостатки это чуть меньше урона и искусность вместо ловкости. Но подавляющему большинству игроков онный тринкет зайдёт намного лучше поскольку он просто удобнее и не рискует убить вас каждый раз при использовании

got this today in normal, tried several times in m+ and althought the damage is really good for huge packs of mobs only works if your tank stays in place (which is weird to happen), also in those 10 seconds you can take some real floor damage or frontals, i died 2 times while using this trinket

Fellow monks, use Transcendence to quickly change positions while having this active. It works! :)
So just place your copy to the side, where you need to, move back to your spot and then pop the trinket. We just have to learn to use it but it's great DPS!

At 17% vers, 395ilv (normal), on the group of 5 training dummies, i did up to 450k damage with a bunch of crits. without crits, around 320k ish damage. You are not interrupted from doing other actions, and it is not a channeled spell.
The immobilize is a BUFF and not a debuff. You
CAN'T*
right click it off. It is not dispelled through things like cloak of shadows or tiger's lust.
This trinket feels like gunk for CASUAL use. It is not intended to be used on random trash packs, or single mobs. It has a chunky 3 minute cooldown. In exchange though, you get the most insane (uncapped?) aoe damage possible for melee range. If you run organized M+, you can easily have your tank pull large groups, mob them up, and absolutely SLAM them with this trinket. Because it's a buff, things like cloak of shadows, blessing of protection, and turtle shell won't remove it, but will keep you immobilized still.

?bonus=7974, using Storm Eater's Boon would trigger a 20 second cooldown on jagged ice, and using jagged ice would trigger a 20 second cooldown on storm eater's boon.
This trinket peaked at 140k dps without buffs or doing any other actions on 5 targets, so imagine what it's like on 10+.
Overall, not my kind of trinket. I got it from my vault to test it, and still need to take it into an organized dungeon. This is not a bad trinket by any stretch, but it is a trinket that heavily rewards organized group play. If you don't want to plan things out, use any other free proc trinket.

I tested this trinket a bit more in M+ dungeons, and it's.. not great. Awful even. 3 minutes is an insanely long cooldown for the damage it provides, and it's outrageously unsafe if you ever need to move. I like the folks have found some fun niche use-cases for it where purposely snaring yourself allows you to negate certain mechanics (being pulled/pushed by Sennarth, launched by Dathea and her adds, and being blown away by Raszageth) but then you're just.. sacrificing a trinket for very poor damage, once per fight where you would be force-moved may times. The potion that shoves you forwards a bit actually negates some of these forced move effects too.
Maybe someone can find a super cool use for the trinket, but it's just way too hazardous for the majority of trash pulls in M+, and the +10 affix can randomly zap you during the trinket's usage.

I would like to know if you are immune to forced movement effects from enemies when the trinket is active, like knockbacks.

This trinket can be used to root yourself in place to negate the effects of some of the bosses knock back abilities. Makes it a little more useful IMO.

It's fun in a couple niche situations (cancels Dathea, Raza pushes) and the absolute worst trinket in all other content. The price for the uncapped AoE in current M+ is almost certainly death.

Does the movement effect of the M+ Thundering affix affect this trinket at all? The debuff from Thundering specifically states that it makes you mobile even if you aren't (i.e. on my DH, I can move during my Eye Beam cast when you usually never can).
Has anybody tested it? Would love to know.
Otherwise, the only use that I've found for this trinket is during the Dathea fight where you can use it up to 2-3 times during the suck-in tornado phase depending on your clear time.

Don't let people deter you this trinket is amazing damage wise and not as terrifying to sue as people make it out to be. An interesting thing about this trinket, you are immune to almost every movement ability, friend and foe. Useful if timed for inhale on Bonemaw, or if you get knocked off by Crawth (it will stop you in your tracks.) Although it does seems Subtlety Rogues will teleport behind the target when they use a Shadow Strike and Killing Spree will teleport you around like normal. A good tip is having an immune ability to negate any thing the happens after you transform. Also knowledge of the encounters/pulls will make this trinket amazing, especially in Mythic+ when dealing with trash or adds on bosses like Overgrown Ancient. While the immobilization can be certain death, just simple knowledge and having a tank that knows not to kite away from you will make this your BiS trinket this tier on AoE. Although for ease of use and the sanity of your party, other trinkets might be a safer bet! Especially in random group. One last note, this trinket seems to negate the affects of Thundering's stun puddles, in case that happens and you can move out of them. The few times I have been hit I am still able to attack like normal.

The trinket itself is good, but for m+ where you constantly have to move around from stuff, it makes it nearly useless when you are rooted in place for 10 seconds. I would NOT choose this trinket for m+ at least. For examples the bosses in Court of stars.

I have a question for the tanks that use this trinket. When using this trinket and tanking mobs, does the tank lose the ability to dodge/parry/etc... Thank you in advance for the reply!
