С английских комментов, небольшой хинт по фарму:
Агрим пак перед Хромаггусом, где три драконида.
Убиваем двух, лутаем их (третьего не трогаем!) и "выпадаем" из боя если можем (хант, рога, кто там еще). Если не можем - умираем и морально готовимся отдать много голды за ремонт в процессе фарма. Вернетесь - весь пак будет живой :) Повторять до успеха. Большим плюсом будет наличие кого-нибудь кто будет вас воскрешать, а то бегать очень достает.

Воспользоваться Сфера Приказа что позади Генерал Драккисат в Пике черной горы. (..сам я лично обнаружил что эта сфера на данный момент находится в зоне Черная гора; т.е. если открыть накру и найти надпись Логово Крыла Тьмы то там есть та самая сфера, приложив руку к которой можно перенестить сразу в БВЛ- Логово Крыла Тьмы)
Квест нужен для попадания в Логово Крыла Тьмы без предварительного прохождения Пика Чёрной Горы - мы ведь именно сюда хотим попасть и "помочить" Змеестражей Когтя Смерти :)
Ну и прочтите наверное английские коентари От jaxsonbateman :)
Суть его комментария в том, что он утверждает, что можно получить с Змеестражей добычу даже если шанс получить её очень мал. Т.е. "фармить" желаемый предмет с Змеестражей. Змеестражей всего около 8шт в подземелии, и автор коментария утверждает, что можно убить несколько из них, взять добычу, умереть (или покинуть бой) , оставив в живых остальных Змеестражей. И когда вы войдете в подземелие опять через несколько минут, то окажется Змеестражей опять около 8ми шт в подземелии, т.е. столько сколько и было до вашего желания перебить их. =)
PS
1. Убейте двух из трех Змеестражей.
2. Заберите добычу из этих двоих пока все еще в бою с третьим.
3. Если один из них имеет то что вам нужно добыть из Змеестражей, вы можете прекратить "фармить" (если вы один являетесь соискателем добычи с Змеестражей).
4. Если ни один из них не имеет то, что вы желаете, покончите жизнь самоубийством, или "сбегите" из боя. Два других мобов будут возрождаться, что в основном означает, что вы получаете псевдо-бесконечного Змеестража, с которого "фармите" добычу.....
Возьмите с собой игрока способного воскрешать вас, умирать вам придется не раз! Но надеюсь что не придется и вы получите то что хотите
(ну не знаю... Драконье возмездие, например...) с первого же Стража!

До сих пор остаётся если не самым красивым двуручным топором, то одним из самых.Если вы фармите его соло, классом, который не умеет выходить из боя, то можно воспользоваться маленькой хитростью, которая сэкономит уйму времени и денег на починку.Когда убиваем двух из трёх змеестражей, нажимаете альт+ф4 и ждёте полторы-две минуты, заходите в игру и пак ресетиться, повторяем всё заново, пока не упадёт.Если зайти в игру позже чем через 5 минут, то вас выкинет к началу зоны.

Можно фармить сразу 2 пака . Пак перед двумя драконами-боссами оставляем не трогая , пробегаем мимо наверх , убиваем двух боссов . У нас остаются 2 не тронутых пака по 3 моба . Для удобства лучше поставить метки на 1 моба в каждом паке (чтоб случайно не убить последнего моба пака) . Ну и дальше по стандартной схеме как здесь описывали - убиваем 4 моба без меток , альт+ф4 и т.д. . В итоге в 2 раза больше мобов , то есть в 2 раза меньше потраченного времени =) Удачи !

узнал про топор захотел! в ЛКт ходил долго за Неукротимый клинок! все сделал по рецепту))))) убил 2х из 3х элитных Змеестражей и убежал от третьего! помогло что вар ночной эльф, слился с тенью и так вышел из боя при втором заходе я увидел луте заветный топорик! совпадение или нет но на боссе я выбил хроминия еще)))))))

Что бы вам сэкономить время, нервы, деньги на починку, возьмите с собой ханта, знакомого, или просто левого предложив ему не много денег. Выбил с хантом буквально за 15-20 минут, убивал двух мобов, претворялся мертвым и по новой, я же стоял в стороне и ждал. И не нужно придумывать альт+ф4 и все прочее, зачем усложнять всё. Удачи!

Фармил варом, сделал так: оставил 3х живых снизу платформы и 3х сверху.
В каждом паке на одного моба вешал метку, чтобы случайно не убить весь пак и убивал оставшихся, лутал и эвейдил эльфийским инвизом.
Если вы не эльф, то легче всего выбивать с Хантом в пати ^^ Да вообще лучше даже с ним, ибо притвориться мертвым 30 сек. кд, а эльф.инвиз 2 минуты кд. Драконье возмездие Выпал после 30-35 убийства этих паков.

Полутал сей топорик со 2го захода. Но делал не так, как тут советуют. В английских комментах есть два способа, гораздо более удобных чем таскать с собой ханта\умирать\релогаться.

Первый вариант:
1. Делаем все как обычно. Ставим метки на мобов в разных паках.
2. Пулим Черноскал
3. Убиваем нужных мобов, проверяем лут.
4. Бежим к комнату Хроминия и становимся рядом с рычагом (не трогаем его)
5. Босс использует абилку Взмах крылом, которая должна откинуть вас на небольшую платформу за рычагом. Спустя 5 сек бой слетит и мобы реснутся.

Второй вариант: После убийства мобов спрыгнуть с закругленной лестницы, которая находится справа от первого пака мобов, на край пресс-машины - http://imgur.com/VM1V30o

Counterattack, for PVP Hunters, is an extremely valuable skill and only usable after parrying an attack. So, which not enriching to the Hunter's ranged DPS, this weapon would improve their chance to get a Counterattack proc.a

One of the few unique looking items in the game, a must have item for Role Players. Otherwise unfortunately stats of the item are quite low compared to the both early TBC and Northrend drops, so won't take you far for levelling.
It dropped for my Paladin today while farming BWL, and when I won the roll, I was quite happy with my treasure, It looks divine on a Paladin with a proper Gold-Red aligned RP gear.

Weapons like Draconic Avenger and Ash'kandi are the reason why people keep running Blackwing Lair and why I'm so glad Dragons will play an important role in the next expansion. When was the last time we've had such sweet dragon-themed weapons?

Since this is one of the best looking axes in the game, I decided to start farming it ever since transmogrification was announced. It took me three full runs through Blackwing Lair to farm the trash, but I finally got it :) Now I have to wait for patch 4.3

Yay dropped for me today on my warrior after of countless of runs and what perfect timing since now i can use the transmogrification!. Happy hunting and a tip it drops from drake talon wyrmguards you can farm them by not killing any of the flying dragon bosses stealth kill the mobs and then wait for it to reset. Do you want a Draconic Avenger? Well, you're in luck! Here's an easy way to farm it, provided you either have a character that can drop out of combat (ie. hunter, rogue or mage), or don't mind spending some gold on repair bills (I spent around 80g on my plate-wearing paladin doing this).

Ok, so you need to have cleared in BWL up to either the 3 Wyrmguard pull before the second and third drakes, or the 3 Wyrmguard pull before Chromaggus. I prefer the one before Chromie as it means I don't have to worry about accidentally aggroing the drakes, as they're already dead.

So when you get up to the Wyrmguard pack you're going to farm...

1. Kill two of the three Wyrmguards.
2. Loot those two whilst still in combat with the third.
3. If one of them has the Avenger, you can stop farming now (or bring in friends to do it with).
4. If neither of them has the Avenger, commit suicide, or drop from combat. The other two mobs will respawn, which basically means you have pseudo-infinite Wyrmguards with which to farm the Avenger.

Whatever you do while using this method, always leave at least one Wyrmguard alive in the pack. BWL trash doesn't respawn normally, and the only way that it will respawn is if a group isn't completely eliminated before combat ends.

I'll also throw out that it helps immensely if you have a rezzer nearby that stays out of combat, and rezzes you between each attempt. Running back is a huge pain, especially with the Suppression Room.

Very important note when farming the Draconic Avenger is that you should have a lot of spare time and gold if you cant get yourself out of combat AND *this is the most important part* MAKE SURE you dont leave the instance untill you are done for i had to go out for 12 hours and when i returned the mob spawns were empty as if i killed them all though i allways left the same one (i marked them) alive. So if you want to farm it even with resser, or going ot of combat char (rogue hunter bla bla) make sure you have like 1 day to spare. I personally dropped the other 2 epics twice and still no avanger :(

I just tried the respawn farming method and it must have been fixed. On the first three pack killed two left one up, wait and left it hit on me for 15mins and no respawn. Then before chromag, same thing again waited 15mins and no respawn.

I was farming this today with my Night Elf Warrior, using my Shadowmeld racial to reset the Wyrmguards. After aprox 1 hour of farming it, I thought, skrew it I'll just kill Chromaggus, as I killed of the last Wyrmguard.
I looted the last mob and saw the purple text of the axe. It was a good day.

To Amend on Jaxsons method: a much easier way is to simply:

Pull both of the Змеестраж Когтя Смерти 3-packs before the Drake/Chromaggus rooms.
Kill two from each pack, just make sure to leave one alive from each pack. Marking helps.
Check for phat loots.
Aggro Черноскал and run into Chromaggus's room. Have him punt you up onto the ledge behind the lever (dont pull it).
Once you're on the ledge, wait a few seconds and they will all reset.

This will allow you to farm 4 Wyrms per 'reset'. Should have your goodies within minutes!

Using the reset tip as others have stated I was able to drop it 8 times in one hour. All I did was Mark One
Death Talon Wyrmguard each from two groups (triangle and square etc) kill four of them leave the other two alive.
Make sure to single target them and no AOE at all, loot, then aggro Ebonroc if you have no luck with loot and take him to Chromaggus room and have him punt you on the ledge near the leaver to release Chromaggus. After around 20 secs he and the two wrymguards will reset. Rinse and repeat. I also killed Flamegor before I started this. The reason I dropped the weapon so many times was to see how often it would drop within the hour and 8 times is pretty good odds for all you Draconic Avenger hunters :)

I just wanted to add for those of you who are not using Ebonroc to punt you onto the ledge, you can use the similar method below:

1. Kill the first group of 3 Death Talon Wyrmguards
2. Kill both drakes
3. Kill 2 of the 3 remaining Death Talon Wyrmguards making sure to leave one alive
4. Loot the 2 that you killed while still in combat with the 3rd
5. If you don't find your Draconic Avenger, you can run back the way you came from , down the ramp, and jump onto the bucket that is alongside the ramp. The key is to jump from on the middle part of the ramp and maneuver yourself at a point on the edge so the Death Talon Wyrmguard stops swinging his weapon. After a few seconds you will drop combat and he will reset.

Confirmed, stil works in 6.2.2.. As said miltiple times, in order to farm this:

1. Mark 1 Wyrmguard in 3-pack before Flamegor and Ebonroc dragon bosses and 1 Wyrmguard from 3-pack before the room where Chromaggus is.
2. Kill either Ebonroc or Flamegor - one must stay alive in order for this to work.
3. Kill 2 of Wyrmguards from each 3-pack (4 in total) - the marked ones must stay alive in order for them to reset.
4. Taunt Flamegor / Ebonroc and run straight to the room where Chromaggus is and point yourself with your back towards the ledge.
5. Wait for Flamegors / Ebonrocs Взмах крылом which will push you up on to the ledge.
6. Run into a corner and wait for them to reset - if boss won't reset, try to run on the other side corner on the ledge, but he isn't important, as Wrymguards will reset anyway.
7. Repeat until you get the loot.

I've done this today 25 times in a row and had no problems with resets, goes very fast and no need to run out or die in order for them to reset. Got my Драконье возмездие on 11th try and 4 Шнурованный теневой жакет plus some greens in other tries. Good luck. :)

Nefarian surely knew how to find some handsome looking gear to his minions like this weapon. Sad his dad Deathwing didn't do :P I admit you can find some pretty nice transmorg weapons in Dragon Soul as well though, just not as cool and dragonlikely as this one and some of the other weapons in Blackwing Lair.

Deathwing I appriciate your mounts though! Even I still haven't got any of them...

The reset trick still works as of 3/26/2018. I did it on my BM hunter and marked 1 of each set of 3 Wyrmguards as mentioned. As a 110, no problem skirting mobs. I went to the upper area where Ebonroc and Flamegor patrol, and stay to the side out of aggro range, and send my pet to aggro the 2nd set (using the "move to" option), then drop down the ramp while making pet "follow" me back, then "move to" 1st set while continuing to go to the middle of the room. Once all are aggroed, I tell pet to follow again, then play dead when they are on me, kill all but 2 marked and feign, reset, do again, and again.

I did start to get worried, because nothing said if you should be on normal or heroic that I could see, so I set to heroic. After about 8 tries with nothing but the occasional cloth and bits of silver dropping, I was wondering if I messed up by doing it on heroic, or if it still drops (I figured they should at least drop a green once in a while, but nothing dropped except pieces of cloth). The first 5 tries, I did only attack the first set, and feign after killing 2 of 3 so they would reset, then loot and skin. The 6th try I decided maybe I should aggro all 6 and kill all but the 2 I marked. I don't know if this made a difference, but I did finally get the axe after about the 11th try (6th try with all 6). I think maybe just since there were more killed in one go, it might give better odds or just make it go faster.

Reset trick still works with a hunter in 8.0. I just cleared to the first pack, killed two, checked loot, used Feign Death and then tabbed out until Feign Death was off CD again. Got it after about 6 resets.
