I noticed the chance to proc effect trinkets are popping on pull. Please confirm if you also noticed/tested this to be correct.
Note if you want the benefit of using buff regents this early in the expac you need to strategically invest knowledge points in to Potions for this version, Phials for the Sustaining version.
The possibility/likelihood of a second potion used during the execute phase makes this version outshine the Sustaining version IMHO.

What the devil is this? No longer alchemists only, and no more +40% healing? As an open world solo only player, I made an alchemist stone every xpac because it was usually better than whatever else I could get, especially with the healing. I guess time will tell whether that will be the case this time, without that extra healing. I guess Blizzard truly does hate alchemy now, between this and the ludicrous RNG 4 hour CD for discovering recipes.

compare to even a lower ileve Primal Ritual Shell and others, this seems incredibly lacklustre for the cost, am I missing something?

With it reducing combat pots by 10 secs, has anyone noticed/checked if it also reduces the cd on Bottled Putrescence?
I'm assuming so as the pot states it shares the cd, but wanted to check before going for decayology and being disappointed with no combo.

I did some target dummy testing for both AoE and single target. Procs seem to be about the same regardless of which you are doing.
The buff seems to have around 30% uptime which is pretty solid. This also means that if you are in a situation where you are constantly casting, this should get your battle potion timer down to ~3.5 minutes instead of 5. Even with terrible procs, it still should get you to 4 minutes or less. This could mean the difference between 2 and 3 potions on certain raid fights.

Does anyone know if the proc effect also applies to mana potions or is it simply for "combat" potions?
