This shares some characteristics with the Dragon Longsword of Runescape fame. The overall shape and coloration are reminiscent of the RS Classic-era D Long and, of course, it's a longsword in an expansion that's all about dragons.

Is it a homage to one of the most classic weapons in MMO gaming? Probably not, but it might be.

The version of this weapon commonly used by the Mythic+ tank players is the one "imbued with ferocity," dealing additional physical damage. And the secondary stats are crafted with the ideal two for the subject tank class.
