Дистиллиум является в некотором роде заменителем Кровь Саргераса в Battle for Azeroth, используется во многих крафтах вещей. Способы добычи, в отличии Крови, всего "полтора":

Алхимики при помощи Трансмутация: дистиллиум.
При утилизирование вещей при помощи "Утилетрон-1000" / "Утиль-жеватор-1".
8.1 патч - за выполнение локальных заданий профессий.

Рассмотрим второй способ.

Распылить вещи можно лишь полученные в BfA. Распыляется только экипировка.
Аксессуары имеют 100% шанс получения Дистиллиум.
Качество вещи влияет на шанс получения.*

25.08.18 лучшим источником получения Дистиллиум является распыления огромного количества Наручи из морского льна.
*15.09.18 - цифры уничтожения вещей и шанса.
По скольку проще всего было уничтожать зеленые вещи, решил проверить в том числе и тип, влияет ли. Общий итог - нет. От типа вещи шанс дистиллиума не меняется, хоть и разные типы реагентов получаются на выходе.
Так же хотел проверить, есть ли зависимость от качества вещи. Есть, но получить тысячу синих вещей или фиолетовых тяжело. На момент беты проверил лишь фиолетовые (от вендоров, 370), падали они очень часто и шанс дропа был в районе 23%. На лайве шанс дропа с зеленых примерно 13%. С синих, из-за нехватки данных, аж 15%. Но я не всё записывал, к сожалению.
Еще стоит учитывать что за локальные задания не все предметы считаются "фиолетовыми", то есть изначально они всё таки синие, кроме различных локальных заданий в подземелия.

Зеленых 5100+ = 670 или 13.13%
Синие 154 = 23 или 14.9%
Фиолетовых (бета, вещи в основном с ульдира) - 600+ = 137 или 22.8%
Фиолетовые (лайв, 340, прочее) 89 = 14 или 15.7%
Фиолетовые азеритовые вещи 100+ = 27 или 27%.

Вывод: нехватка данных приносить итог смутный, то есть если судить по цифрам, различие в дропе есть, однако не сильный разброс. Еще стоит учитывать что шанс дропа мог изменяться за это времена в одних из хотфиксах, а так же то что вещи с ульдира (купленные у вендора) приносили на бете гораздо больше дистиллиума и редких реагентов. Азеритовые вещи приносили немного больше дистиллиума, но я не заморочился с этим. На лайв серверах же, как мне кажется, чуток повыше дроп с них. Помните, реальная выборка будет хотя бы с тысячи предметов, а лучше десятки тысяч. Ибо были моменты когда просто подряд 3-4 с зеленых вещей подало, а бывало что и после 35 не упало.

Пока что считаю не выгодным его добывать, именно разрушая всё подряд в утилизаторе.Если шмотка стоит 50-60+ голды не стоит.И опять-таки у зелёнки видимо шанс очень мал,так что пилите синьки и выше. Добывать можно алхимиками,однако она персональная и нахрен столько не надо будет в таком количестве.Так же есть шанс получения из мобов по миру и т.п. аналогично крови в Легионе.Думаю вскоре появится добыча и через локалки и задания в столе.

Зелёный Наручи из морского льна имеет шанс в 15% на выпадение Дистиллиум, у остальных вещей не пробовал, скорее всего такой же дроп рейт. Итого 210 голды за единицу Дистиллиум. Я надеюсь, не надо объяснять, что вы можете скрафтить шмот одним персонажем, а разобрать на Дистиллиум — другим, с более выгодной профой.

Например, ювелир может скрафтить Кольцо с королевским кварцем, и если у него прокнет фиолетовая шмотка 310 уровня, на ауке её можно продать за 30 000 голды. Сейчас эти 4 (все 4 разных рецепта) фиолетовых кольца стоят по 10 000-40 000. Но сейчас только начало патча, и само собой кольца подешевеют.

Утилизировал почти 4000 ед шмота :).

3690 зелёнки (220ilvl+) дали 561 штуку
129 синьки дали 18 шт
44 эпика (310-350) дали 5 шт

Получается - 1 Дистиллиум из 6.614 утилизированных вещей в общем,
или

1 из 6.5775 для зелёнки
и
1 из 7.5217 для остальных качеств (редкие или эпик)

Даже несмотря на небольшой размер образца, безопасно можно предположить что Зелёнка, Редкие и Эпик вещи в БфА имеют ОДИНАКОВЫЙ ШАНС для дропа Дистиллиум при Утилизации вещей.

UPDATE :

При утилизации крафтовых вещей 370-385 уровня (на которые требуется 25 и 250 Кровяная клетка соответственно) вы получаете назад потраченные Кровяная клетка !

Если пылить одинаковые крафтовые шмотки, то можно юзать макрос, чтоб одной кнопкой закидывать шмотки в утиль.

Название шмотки вписывать без всяких знаков. Например, если вещь называется Боевые наручи из шершавой кожи с символом огненной вспышки, то указываем просто Боевые наручи из шершавой кожи.

На данный момент в патче 8.2 Дистиллиум актуален, для тех кто делает себе шмот из профессий. 410, 425 и 440 можно крафтить.

Не знаю как было, но в актуальном патче дистиллиум при утилизации алхимических тринкетов падает не 100% и не более одного (на практике), думаю тратить ресурсы на их изготовление для передачи альтам под крафт другими профессиями может быть не всегда профитно

Нейлоновая нить 1092 шт.
Морской лен 1126 шт.
Дистиллиум 124 шт.

В среднем один Дистиллиум из шести Наручи из морского льна => примерно 16% - 17% шанс дропа.

As of Alpha: there is a small chance this can be obtained from obliterating crafted gear from the Scrap-o-matic 1000 near the Profession trainers, or you can get it from transmuting from alchemy.

I have obliterated 20 items and got 3.

Beta 26567 update: Since you can now Scrap all gear, they can be obtained from green+ gear (crafted or drops) from BFA content, higher chances with higher ilvl gear. Can no longer get from herb and mining.

I am yet to see one drop from minig, after ~450 of both common ores and ~100 platinum.
Current mining skills tooltips do not suggest "rare drops" as the legion mining skills.

Disclaimer: All the mining is done not at max lvl, so that might be the reason.

As of this posting Expulsom is obtained primarily from using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 located conveniently near the mining, blacksmithing and engineering trainers in Dazar'Alor, Zuldazare if you are Horde. The Alliance Scrap-o-Matic 1000 is located in south-eastern Tradewinds Market in Boralus.

Essentially the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 works like the Obliterum Forge in Legion however one major difference from Legion is that you can use it to break down any gear obtained that is from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, including dungeon/raid drops, quest rewards, world drops and crafted gear. Apart from a chance at getting Expulsom you will also get ore, gems, leather, occasional enchanting mats (from scrapping cloth gear) and other crafting mats. The best way to obtain Expulsom seems to be from breaking down rare/epic gear you obtain from dungeons and raids, killing rare elites and doing world quests, it also drops rarely from BFA uncommon quality items. So if you need expulsom don't vendor those pieces when you don't need them!

Expulsom can also be created by Alchemists using Transmute: Expulsom, which generates 5 Expulsom per day from 10 Akunda's Bite, 10 Winter's Kiss, and 3 Anchor Weed.

Late into Beta: I've never gotten it from any gathering profession. I read somewhere it's more from Scrapping blue items at the Scrap-O-Matic 1000 (Alliance under an open shed by the profession trainers in Tradewinds Market). Not true. It's either totally random or RNG. Even purple items don't guarantee an expulsom and some green items will give you one right after another.

From what I've gathered so far in regards to scrapping/shredding items at the Shred-Master Mk1:

Weapons return material that is used in their crafting through professions(Thanks BlacKcuD!):

Bows -> Bones/Wood
Fist weapons -> Bones/Scales
Axes/Maces/Swords/Polearms/Shields -> Ore
Offhands -> Ink

Rings, and Plate gear produce random amounts of ore, with potential of gems.

Mail gear produces scales and bone

Leather gear produces skins of varying quality.

Cloth gear produces cloth of varying quality.

All gear has the potential of producing Дистиллиум, with the exception of trinkets which seem to be guaranteed to produce ONLY Expulsom. (this seemingly does not include crafted trinkets, thanks imanollew!)

Edited to include what people found in the replies! May still be missing a few things, but that should be most of it, thanks to those that corrected me!

It is worth noting that you can get almost *any* materials out of Scrap-O-Matic in addition to the Expulsom.
Plate Armor gives ore.
Mail armor gives scales.
Leather armor gives (surprise surprise) leather.
Cloth armor gives (again, surprise) cloth. So do all cloaks I have tried.

However, once you get into weapons and the like, the more interesting stuff starts to pop up as well:
Most weapons give ore: Shields, swords, daggers, warglaives, et cetera.
From wands, I have gotten enchanting mats.
From staves and rings, I have gotten gems as well as ore.
From off-hands, I have gotten inks.
Fist Weapons seen to give scales.

All in all, a variety of things that you can get out of things that drop off just about anything!

It is not random what you get out of the bot.

Here is a rough overview:

ores: plate armor, two handed swords, shields etc
scales: mail gear, bows etc
leathers: leather gear
cloth: cloth gear and backs
enchanting mats: wands
gems: rings etc
expulsom: small chance from all gear, guaranteed from trinkets

I have scrapped 3147x Наручи из морского льна.

This is what I got:
517x Дистиллиум
4801x Морской лен
2153x Нейлоновая нить

This means, that for each Наручи из морского льна I got on average:
0.164x Дистиллиум
1.526x Морской лен
0.684x Нейлоновая нить

So basically I got 1 Дистиллиум for every 6 Наручи из морского льна. In addition to that I also got some of the Морской лен and Нейлоновая нить back.

According to the data I have collected the quality of the items that are scrapped does not have any impact on the amount of Дистиллиум that is created.

I also scrapped other tailoring items, that are more expensive to craft. I did not have the impression that I got out more Дистиллиум from those items. However, the data suggested that the amount of Linen and Nylon returned might be slightly higher for more expensive items, but my sample size was too small to reliably indicate something like that.

Update: There are some comments here that suggest that the proc rate has changed. I did not notice a change. I stopped to document my scrapping some time ago. But I still get out around 16 percent. Sometimes I get more, sometimes less. Sometimes you're just lucky, sometimes you aren't.

The quality of the item scrapped does *not* seem to have an impact in how much Expulsom you get. It does, however, seem to have an impact in the quality of the materials you get from the item: I have received more green and even blue quality materials from blue quality quest items, rarely, but never with green quality ones.

I've not tried to scrap an epic, let alone enough for a good comparison, so I am unable to qualify as to whether the chance is higher of either one with them, but would assume so.

I scrapped 52 Tidespray Bracers, and only received 4 Expulsom. Either I'm very unlucky, or they stealth-fixed the expulsom drop rate from crafted items.

Sofar my drop rate for Expulsom is 16% or one for every 6 gear pieces scrapped.

Here are the stats I was able to come up with a small pool of 30 wands for enchanting:

Created Мрачный жезл зачаровывателяx30 and scrapped them all. 5 of them turning rare quality (didn't change what they yielded).

Yielded:
Дистиллиум x11
Сумеречная пыль x63
Звездная древесина x27

Losing about 600 Сумеречная пыль and 30 Теневой осколок for roughly 11 Дистиллиум

(Obviously net loss would be 537 dust, 30 shards, and 3 starwood)

Note: I never received any of the Теневой осколок back from scrapping, so just be wary you will only receive back Дистиллиум, Сумеречная пыль, and Звездная древесина from what I've seen.

As to if that price is worth it, not entirely sure. I have about 300 shards and had about 800 gloom dust, so it doesn't particularly upset me, but to each their own.

I have now scrapped 103 items and have gotten zero (0) expulsom. This was on 2 different toons. Several of my guildies have scrapped items with only 2 expulsom for them so far. At this point I'm giving up on crafting anything while it's useful and just selling all the items I don't need for the vendor gold.

Even given the small sample size, it is safe to assume that Green, Blue and Epic BfA gear has SAME CHANCE for Дистиллиум proc from Scrapping gear.

While scrapping crafted items (370-385 ilvl which require 25 and 250 Кровяная клетка of respectively) you will get back spent Кровяная клетка on this item. Basically 100% refunded (only Кровяная клетка used to craft it, not rest of mats) !

So, today I did scrap total of 960 green item made with Leather Working craft, Here what I got :

1359 x Поблескивающая чешуя = 1.415% chance/scrap
475 x Окровавленная кость = 0.494% chance/scrap
149 x Дистиллиум = 0.155% chance/scrap

I'm wondering what non-crafters can do with expulsom, besides moan about how other alts could use it. At least with Blood of Sargarus, we could use it for class hall resources or sell/trade it for other supplies.

If you are Alliance, Expulsom is created when you scrap items in the Scrap-O-Matic 1000. The Scrap-O-Matic 1000 is located in the Tradewinds Market in Boralus at 77.3/16.2.

Enchanters really are the big losers when it comes to the expulson mechanic. In order to get mats, you need to DE gear, Ofc if you do that, you cannot scrap them for expulsom. Another fine example of Blizzard devs not thinking before they implement something

Did a small test on various different items, azerite/epics/blues/green vs crafted items for expulsom drop rates. Scrapped a total of 71 dropped items and 71 crafted, Боевые наручи из поблескивающей чешуи if anyone cares. Both rounds of scrapping gave me 13 expolsum, for a total of 26 expulsom. Did a handful of trinkets as well and they were 100% drop for expulsom. I didnt see any big difference between the levels of gear for expulsom drops, but there was a noticable difference with the amount of mats I got back; the better the gear the more mats returned. My test I belive was a drop rate of 1 in 5.5 (if I did my math correctly). Although, it was such a small testing pool I think the drop rate of 1 in 6 is probably much more accurate based off the mass scrapping I've done in the past.

Mainly did this test due to the misconception of those on my server that keep spreading the rumor that dropped greens have a better drop rate. At this point, I'm almost 99% positive expulsom has its own separate roll chance when you scrap, the only item giving you better odds being non crafted trinkets.

the majority of the +75 crafting items need this. from what everyone is saying its should be able to craft one item every few months. dont know if ill get to max it out before the next expansion.

This is the best (worst) gold sink Blizz has introduced in BfA. Drop rate from scrapping is abysmal, other than 100% from trinkets, and you lose tons of gold from vendoring all the BoPs that you end up scrapping now for a bunch of leather/cloth or even vendor sold crafting mats.

Scrapped 310 of the Tidespray Linen Bracers, didn't really track how many proc'ed to rare quality. Got 53 expulsom, so roughly 17% drop rate.

Seems like scrapping Наручи из морского льна is the best source to farm Дистиллиум if you don't want to wait days upon days to get it from Трансмутация: дистиллиум, which is in fact the best way to efficiently gain Дистиллиум. So if you don't wanna spend time and effort in crafting and scrapping thousands of items, then I recommend doing your Трансмутация: дистиллиум every day.

I scrap exactly 1k Наручи из морского льна every month or so to farm my Дистиллиум. On average, I get about ~170-200 Дистиллиум from it. As for other items, you get 1-2 Морской лен & Нейлоновая нить per scrap.

I can read that plaayers have been asking for a vendor or for these crap items be made BoA since Beta!

Now it is 8.2.5 and nothing has happened - still stockpiling these on all characters, since
- they are often questrewards
- scrapping becomes the standard thing to do - even when vendoring might be better (and we like the lottery)
- things crafted with them are rarely sellable

I think Blizzard should put their pant on and get moving with this silly matter!

This has probably been figured out already, but if you have a toon with tailoring or any crafting profession where the mats are cheap on your server; you can make a crap ton of Tidespray Linen Bracers and send them to your alts to scrap for about a 20% drop rate on Expulsom

Just started an alt and wanted 30 expulsom to craft the engineering helm. Thought I'll just confirm that the old systems still work.

Bought around 40 benthic pieces on my main, mailed and scrapped them. Bought as many 266 ilvl Armor pieces I could find for under 100g & scrapped those too.

For me the drop rate varied between 10-15% but definitely worked.

Alt was a low level miner but the 5 Expulsom world quest wasn't showing. Went and learnt Kul Tiran mining and it popped on the map. At zero kul tiran mining skill. So make sure u learn 2 professions even if it's an absolute new toon.

Just a note.. bought around 10 weapons too (266 ilvl) but got zero Expulsom from those. Small sample size, so maybe I was just unlucky.

Made 1043 Tidespray Linen Bracers. At about 2g/cloth, this cost about 20,000g. Mailed to alt, scrapped => 174 Expulsom.

The scrapping produced enough cloth to make another 155 bracers. Extrapolating, this could produce another ~25 Expulsom, for a total of ~200.

Since prices of Tidespray Linen are unlikely to increase at this point of the expansion, this puts the baseline cost of Expulsom at 100g each, if you can be bothered to spend literally hours crafting and scrapping.

Can someone please explain why the scrap-o-matic will accept some items but not others of the same item levels? Being an engineer, I need an excessive amount of Expulsom so I have tried to buy inexpensive armor and weapons from the AH. But some level 100 items (like a life transformer gun) can't be scrapped, but tidespray linen bracers of ilvl 53 can. And a whole range of items between 50-100 sometimes can be scrapped while others can't.

What am I missing?

All I wanna do is learn blacksmithing recipes on my main. My alt has over 300 of these and can't use em, and I'm looking at needing hundreds of em to make any progress...

This macro will auto fill the scrapper with the item between paranthesis (even if they are "of the...")

/run for bag = 0,4,1 do for slot = 1, GetContainerNumSlots(bag), 1 do local name = GetContainerItemLink(bag,slot); if name and string.find(name,"Coarse Leather Armguards") then UseContainerItem(bag,slot) end end end

Then all you have to do is click the macro and click scrap.

strange that if you don't have tailoring or engineering, you can collect these expulsoms, but can do very little with them. I have alchemy, herbalism and cooking and I can't use the expulsom - yeah there is only 1 useless vial I can make with it. Currently I have 50 piled up.

So basically, between Legion profession quests and the existence of Expulsom, Blizzard is showing they don't care about returning players who want to go back to missed expansions just to level up crafting professions.

Also, you can AH level crafting profs in Shadowlands soooo...smh.

I needed 33 of these to make my Поножи из дымчатой чешуи, so I estimated I needed to make 200 X Боевые наручи из поблескивающей чешуи at a drop rate of around 20% with some buffer.

I bought the mats for 200 of them for about 1.5K g, and then I kept crafting, scrapping, and recrafting until I ran out of materials.

Crafts: 200 + 50 + 13 + 4 + 1 = 268 crafts

It gave me 32 expulsoms, for an actual drop rate of 11.94%

I had enough leather to then make 3 X Боевые наручи из шершавой кожи which gave me my last needed expulsion.

I would like to know if everyone else is having the same problem as me for scrapping for expulsom now?

I can't put in more than 1 item in the "3x3" box or it locks up and i have to log out completely and back in to be able to scrap again.
