Was boosting a friend of mine's alt in scholo some time ago to do some $%^&ty quest and this thing dropped, was kinda /rofl about the looks and I took it. Being a full s3 warrior at that time i wanted to have it for a laugh.

After some time i noticed that i forgot to switch to my s3 weapon and guess what, the dps on the weapon doesn't mean as much as it did before TBC, in fact its a total joke. With s3 weapon i was doing about 2.5k crits on the mobs there, with this thing it was around 2.1k.

I really 'like' what is blizzard doing to this game.

Got this today on my Deathknight :D put spellshatter rune on it for added skulls... i've decided to claim it's origin was when I decided my runeblade was simply not good enough so I thought rather than let the argent dawn person we kill in the starter chain go to waste, I removed his spine. (i'm a gnome so the scale works well, not sure about other races)

The disease proc still spreads via pestilence and counts as a multiplier for death knight abilities, i.e. Heart Strike, Death Strike, Scourge Strike, etc.

Seems to be a very low chance of occurring at 80, but with a 30 second uptime, might be useful for soloing old raid content -- Blood spec DKs would have 22.5% healing from Death Strike.

A good way to get this beauty on a Death Knight is to get a lvl 80 rogue, give them master looter while you wait at the entrance. They'll then stealth all the way to Rattlegore, gank him, and if the weapon drops, have them give it to you with Master Looter. If it doesn't drop, repeat the first 2 steps. Good Luck!

To bad they didn't redesign this skin in WotLK like they did with so many other weapons.

Weapons with disease effects:
Gravestone War Axe chance to cause Creeping Mold.
Frightskull Shaft chance to cause Weakening Disease.
Blight chance to cause Blight.

wonder whos poor Folks spine was used for the Pile of bones loot heh?

Very nice look, would go well with any 1 lookin for some undead like Mog gear. Undead War or Dk would look nicely with this, Even acting like it was a poor players Spine they ripped off an used heh. Not bad at all might go look for 1 one of my own class's.
