This sword is kind of good... and kind of bad at the same time.

On one hand, it has almost enough hit rating to get you hit capped if you're twinking at 49, which is really nice.

But then on the other hand, it is very fast, making it terrible for Seal of Command. It is also not good for Mortal Strike, but Mortal Strike doesn't suffer quite as bad as Seal of Command does, since the fast speed lower the chance to proc on each hit, which results in drastically lower burst damage. The weapon also has no stamina and minimal strength...

So, if you see one pretty cheap, and you're playing as an MS warrior, or a 2H fury (If those even exist anymore) you might want to give it a try if you don't already have a nice weapon. Otherwise pass it up for something else.

Saw this for cheap on the AH, so I bought it for my pally. The +hit and the DPS are great, but as said above the speed is terrible for Seal of Command. A solid bridge until the Ice Barbed Spear, but definately don't empty the bank account for it.

see because this hit rating is so good (3.39% on my lvl 54 pala) i enchanted it with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38838 because i think it would strike more often so if you want do the same thing. hope this helps :)

i had big luck finding this in the AH a few days ago when i was searching for a weapon completing my RP/Mogging Set for my DK. She wears the inferno tempered stuff (you can get it from G'eras in Shattrath) together with the Darkcrest Pauldrons and it looks so very fantastic. My personal opinion is that a DK can't look any better.

Heavens! I've been looking for this piece of nostalgic for what seems to be forever. Remember having this on me warrior in vanilla and been looking for it for transmog. One of the most awesome looking swords there is.

I'm not sure if this is a common effect and on a bunch of items, but I recently noticed that when in combat, the red pattern glows. Looks impressive with the dark iron set on a blood DK.

A good idea for Roleplayers it to use this with the dark iron set that can be made by any black smith, But its a hame that you cant use the dark iron chest plate if you have not got smithing, Other then that, just cover up your chest with a tabard or something.

Just got this on my DK. I was farming thorium in Winterspring and had goen almost all the way to the back of the Ice Thistle Yeti cave.
now I had been working for the last few weeks on getting Суль'траз Каратель on the same DK. But Джанг'траз Охранитель has not been dropping for me. Oh well, this looks way better with the Dark Iron armor set I've been using.

While I don't see it in the Dropped by section, I'm curious if this sword drops from Nefarian. It is almost in range of his blue drops and I would love an easier way to get this for transmog rather than a hope and a prayer that it drops.

The best way to farm this is just making the rounds at Прочный сундук с сокровищами in Winterspring. About a 7% drop rate from each and you can easily hop over there from the Hyjal portal whenever you have a few minutes to kill. There are usually around 2-4 treasure chests up.

Bonus points if you do it on an outlaw rogue for Поиск сокровищ - saves you from having to actually delve through any caves if there's nothing in there!.

This can also net you some other cool blue items like Демонобоец and Хранитель душ.
