WoD Crafted Cloaks, Weapons, Shields will not be created containing, and will NOT REROLL to contain, Spirit or Bonus Armor (Healer or Tank, respectively).

This shield goes splendidly with the Paladin Challenge Mode armor. Definitely one of the better shields for transmog.

The versions of the WoD blacksmithing craftable shields are as follows:

Below are the base and upgraded versions of the shields. This item maintains whatever stats were on the base item when upgraded - the amount of those stats will increase though.

Notes about the shields:

They are BoE and can be sold on the Auction House or traded
They can be used by anyone (not just blacksmiths)
They can be equipped at Level 91
The shields require 100 Слиток истинной стали + 20 Истинная железная руда + 20 Руда Черной горы to craft
The base shield will be crafted with +48-72 each of two random secondary stats (chosen out of Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, Versatility or Multistrike)
The secondary stats can be re-rolled (randomly reselected) using the consumable item Шлифовальный камень из истинной стали (1 item required per re-roll)
The quantity of secondary stats when crafted is random as well (e.g. one item may have +58 crit and +66 haste, while another of the same type may have +66 crit and +57 haste)
This item DOES NOT COUNT towards 1 of the 3 maximum Warlords of Draenor crafted items that you can have equipped at one time
The shield changes in appearance to be more elaborate as it is upgraded, with the addition of scrollwork and inlaid gems/accents

As of 6.2, item level 705 is the maximal upgrade that can be performed on these items.

Notes about the upgrade items:

The upgrade items themselves are BoE and can be traded or sold on the Auction House
They can be used by anyone (not just blacksmiths)
Using an upgrade item on gear will NOT bind it to you if it is not already bound to you
The upgrade item will NOT change the combination or proportion of stats on the item (e.g. if non-upgraded version has versatility and haste, the upgraded item will also have versatility and haste, just more of each stat)
These items can be used on gear that is already equipped
These upgrade items are exclusively crafted by Blacksmiths - you cannot craft them as a non-Blacksmith, even with the Forge Blacksmithing building in your garrison

Beware, the shield is a bit crooked on the back and will clip with most shoulders.

Tip for transmoggers: stages 1, 2, and 3 of WoD craftable gear have different appearances, and will be saved to your closet separately. Stages 4, 5 and 6 of WoD craftables share the same appearance as stage 3, so there's no reason to craft them.

For all you transmog collectors: only the base shield and the first two upgrade stages of the shield will give you a new look to add to your collection. As soon as you start needing the Могучая кованая стальная субстанция and the Дикая кованая стальная субстанция, you're done in terms of unlocking appearances. So save those Слиток истинной сталиs!
