DPS Warrior PvP Gear

Classic DPS Warrior PvP AbilitiesWarrior Stances

Боевая стойка: As the tooltip states, this is your neutral combat stance that doesn't come with any major advantage or disadvantage. As always there are stance-specific abilities that you can only use in Battle Stance.

Оборонительная стойка: This is your, well....Defensive Stance that reduces the amount of damage you take and increases your threat generation, but this stance also lowers your damage dealt. This stance is primarily used by Tanks but can be used by any Warrior in a pinch to reduce incoming damage.

Стойка берсерка: This stance increases your chance to land a critical strike with your abilities but also increased the damage you take by a significant amount. Primarily used by DPS Warriors this stance allows you to increase your damage but can be risky in situations where you might take damage.

DPS Warrior PvP Offensive Abilities

Удар героя: This ability defines Warrior in Classic World of Warcraft, it is off the GCD and replaces your next auto attack making it ideal for dumping rage. It's worth noting that it has an increased threat coefficient and is an important for tanks and their threat generation.

Кровопускание: Applies a Bleed effect that deals damage over time, this ability can be useful vs. Rogues to keep them out of stealth.

Подрезать сухожилия: This ability is going to be key for Warriors in PVP as it allows you to stick to a target and damage them continuously. Some items, such as Латные рукавицы генерала and Ярость Мугамбы, reduce the rage cost of Hamstring.

Превосходство: A powerful attack that can only be used after an enemy dodges your attack.

Реванш: An attack that can only be used after you dodge, block, or parry an enemy attack, this ability generates a high amount of threat.

Рассекающий удар: Similar to Удар героя this ability is off the GCD and replaces your next auto attack, this attack hits an additional target as well.

Казнь: A powerful finishing blow that uses all of your rage, can only be used on enemies below 20%.

Сокрушение: One of Warrior's more niche abilities, Slam has a cast time and replaces your auto attack; so, if you have a weapon with a 3.8 speed and cast slam it would be as if you forced it to have a 1.5 swing speed instead. The cast time can be reduced via talents.

Вихрь: One of Warrior's most powerful abilities, this skill deals high damage in both single target and AoE situations.

Кровожадность: The 31 point talent in the Fury tree, deals high damage based off of your attack power.

Смертельный удар: The 31 point talent in the Arms tree, deals high damage based off of your weapon damage.

Мощное зелье ярости

Similar to it's usage in PVE, this potion can be consumed to give you a combat advantage as well as some instant rage if you need it. There are a wide variety of potions that have amazing application in PVP but, this is a good offensive option.

Best PvP Engineering Gadgets for DPS Warriors

Ториевая граната

Железная граната

Grenades are one of the most powerful PvP tools available, they provide a long range stun and deal a moderate amount of AoE damage. Grenades are incredibly useful for closing distance between you and the target, securing extra damage, and even interrupting enemy spell casts.

Гоблинский саперный заряд

Goblin Sapper Charge is one of the format-defining items when it comes to PVP in Classic World of Warcraft, any guild who is serious about contesting objectives such as World Bosses should have as many of these in the raid as possible.

Best PvP Potions for DPS Warriors

Зелье свободы действий

Free Action Potion, also known as "Fap", is one of the most frequently used potions in Classic World of Warcraft. This potion allows you to move freely without fear of Stuns, Slows, Roots, etc. As a Warrior you'll want to always have these available to you because you are very susceptible to CC.

Зелье неудержимости

Living Action Potion, also known as "Lap", is similar to Free Action Potion with a couple key differences. First, Lap will remove CC abilities that are already applied to your character; but, because this potion makes such an immediate impact, it has a much shorter duration.

Слабое зелье неуязвимости

Limited Invulnerability Potion, also known as "Lip", is extremely powerful when fighting against Warrior or Разбойник. 6 seconds of complete immunity to Physical Attacks? Just enough time to almost fully cast a Плотные бинты из рунной ткани!

Приводящее в сознание зелье

Restorative Potion, also known as "Resto Pot", is a great answer to classes who are going to be constantly debuffing you (Mages, Warlocks, Druids, Priests). This potion can remove many powerful debuffs such as Гнев деревьев or Страх. A well timed Resto Pot can definitely turn the tide of a battle.

Best PvP General Consumables for DPS Warriors

Плотные бинты из рунной ткани

Heavy Runecloth Bandage is absolutely a must have Consumable in PvP. Bandaging is very useful in almost every aspect of the game, whether you're leveling, raiding, or PVPing. With this every class has access so some self-sustain.

Альтеракский бисквит из манны

Alterac Manna Biscuit is listed here because not enough people know about it. Instead of begging Mages in town for Level 55 Food, you can go buy them yourself from the Alterac Valley Quartermaster, making this the best food in the game. Many people are also incorrect when they assume this can only be used in Alterac Valley, like the PvP Potions the vendor sells, such as Сильнейшее исцеляющее зелье or Сильнейшее зелье возврата маны. But Alterac Manna Biscuit can actually be used anywhere, even outside of Battlegrounds!

Note Деморализующий крик can be used as an offensive ability as well.

When facing a stealthed class and you are *fairly* confident your opponent is in range, use Деморализующий крик as it breaks stealth.

As you recommend having the Booming voice talent from Fury, your range will also increase from 10 to 15 yards, increasing your chances even more ;)

Lol, here I thought this would be an actual guide of actual use instead of some !@#$ty clickbaiter telling you to go arms. What a joke.
I came here to figure out what to do with 2 talent points figuring this would be an actual fury guide. Just relabel it "arms dps pvp guide" you clown.

For anyone that actually came here expecting fury advice this is what i'm currently working with but i'm having issues with deciding what I do with my last couple talents:

https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/warrior/20305011302-05050104325012051

Hard to decide if it's better to get improved execute or offhand damage, the stun is a must as DR is on 15 (17) second windows so that's a guaranteed 3 sec stun every 20. There have been times I only won because my bloodthirst took them just low enough a 10 rage execute crit knocks them and times the execute didn't matter at all and the white damage would have saved me. Eugh.

really though, if you look at the formulas at 60 an offhand strike at 3/5 rather than 5/5 dual wielding hitting say... 150 damage a white swing over the course of 20 offhand swings you're getting like 300 extra offhand damage from 20 total swings assuming it even takes that long for someone to die, and you're getting like ~5-8 total extra rage from 5/5 over 3/5, so I mean... 15 * 5 assuming you have extra execute rage rather than using it at 10 rage early you net 75 damage an execute extra so really 4 executes pays for 20 lost offhand swing damage bonuses and pays off harder in rage, assuming you use it early at 10 and get 3x 10 (600 a pop for 1200) rather than 2x15 (600 a pop for 1200) you blew the offhand damage out of the water. Choices choices.
