Божественная сила

Divine Strength gives 10% more strength when fully talented. This is useless for Holy Paladins since they do not use the Strength.

Божественный интеллект

Divine Intellect gives 10% more intellect when fully talented. This is incredibly useful since intellect is one of your best stats, and because it is the best choice without question for this tier.

Духовное концентрация

Spiritual Focus gives you a 70% chance to not lose casting time when taking damage during your Свет небес and Вспышка Света casts. This is an amazing talent for both PvP and PvE and is a requirement for both. You will rarely be able to get a cast off while people are attacking you without this, and will enable you to cast through damage in raids as well.

Улучшенная печать праведности

Improves your damage done by your Печать праведности and its Judgement, which is useless as a Holy Paladin. You both won't be using Seal of Righteousness and you will not need to care about damage most of the time. The only exception would be in solo world PvP, in which case you could take this if you wanted to do some sort of hybrid build, but not as a Holy Paladin.

Исцеляющий Свет

Increases your healing done by Свет небес and Вспышка Света by 12%. This is absolutely required when playing Holy.

Освящение

Drops a zone on the ground that damages enemies within for a small amount of holy damage over time while they are inside. This is useful to take in general as it is extra AoE damage which scales off of your spell power and does not take up a debuff slot on enemies. It also is incredibly useful in PvP because you can sit inside of it if you think a Rogue or other stealthed enemy is around, potentially breaking them from stealth.

Улучшенное возложение рук

Essentially makes your Возложение рук a much better spell and lowers the cooldown from 60 minutes to 40 minutes. This also makes Lay on Hands an excellent tank cooldown, making it a useful talent for raiding.

Непоколебимая вера

You generally pick this up because there are not other great options to put your points into. This is more of a filler talent, but 10% fear and disorient resist chance is alright for PvE and can be quite good for PvP if you resist a fear in a critical situation.

Свечение

This is one of the single most important talents in the Holy tree and is what makes Paladins such efficient healers. With this you get the mana cost of a healing spell refunded when it crits, which eventually you will have a very high critical strike chance. This is an amazing talent for mana generation and should not be skipped.

Улучшенное благословение мудрости

Makes your Благословение мудрости slightly stronger. You should always have this if you are using Blessing of Wisdom on people, and is in general great to have since Blessing of Wisdom is your preferred blessing.

Божественное одобрение

A powerful cooldown that makes your next healing spell a guaranteed critical strike. Very useful for both PvE and PvP content as a cooldown for when someone is really low and needs topping with one heal. Do not forget that you also get mana back when your healing spells crit, so this ensures you effectively do not need to spend mana on the healing spell.

Долгое правосудие

In a raid environment, this is useless. You will never use judgment in a raid due to the 16 slot debuff cap on enemies, which will get used for more powerful spells. However, in dungeons, this is quite useful. If you use Печать мудрости and Judgement on dungeon enemies where the debuff cap will not be an issue, you and your party will get free mana back whenever they attack your Judgement targets. Hunters, for instance, will almost get unlimited mana when they attack your targets and Mages can wand enemies for quick mana generation when they are low.

Священная сила

Increases your critical strike chance of your Holy spells by 5%. This is a very strong talent both for healing done and for mana generation because of Свечение. This is a must have as a Holy Paladin.

Шок небес

Holy Shock is one of your signature spells as a Holy Paladin, and rightly so. While its 30-second cooldown makes it so you cannot use it too often, it provides a strong, instant, burst heal when you need it. The damage is also nothing to be laughed at and can kill a low target before they get away.

Protection Tree Talents

Улучшенная аура благочестия

Improves the effect of your Аура благочестия, and should always be taken if you might be using this aura. This is generally a good talent to take as well due to its low placement in the tree.

Оплот

Increases your chance to block after being the victim of a critical strike. This can be useful in PvP against melee but is useless in PvE for Holy Paladin. Even for PvP, there are better talents to take, and most melee will be trying to attack you from behind, making you unable to block a large portion of their attacks.

Точность

Increases your chance to hit which is useful for when you want to use Правосудие or melee attacks. This is not particularly great, but is a decent option if you need to spend points to get later into the Protection tree.

Помощь стража

Lowers the cooldown on your Благословение защиты and increases the duration of your Благословение свободы. This is a great talent alone since both of those are awesome spells, and is definitely worth taking to get later into the Protection tree.

Крепость

While the extra armor is great for PvP against physical damage dealers, this is useless in PvE. However, if you need the points to go later in the Protection tree, this is better than some other options.

Благословение королей

A powerful buff that is a requirement in any group. At least one Paladin in your group should always have this to put on everyone, making this a great choice to have in a normal build. You could choose to skip this if you knew for sure that another Paladin in your raid group was going to be the one casting this, but there are not really better options to take in other trees.

Улучшенное праведное неистовство

Completely useless in both PvE and PvP since Holy Paladins should never need or want to hold threat on any target.

Специализация на щитах

Similar to Оплот, this is marginally good in PvP and useless in PvE. These two talents are not nearly strong enough to warrant spending 10 points on.

Предчувствие

You will not need defense as a Holy Paladin, making this worthless in all content unless you are trying to build some sort of hybrid tank build.

Улучшенный молот правосудия

While Молот правосудия is mostly useless in PvE, it is one of your strongest abilities in PvP. This is definitely worth putting points into for PvP since it is such an effective stun and control tool, great for killing or disengaging. For PvE this is a filler talent if you need to drop points somewhere to move further into the tree.

Улучшенная аура сосредоточенности

Аура сосредоточенности is an amazing aura for casters, making this an fantastic choice if you are going to be grouped with casters in a raid. One of the variant builds presented below is based around picking up this talent, which is worth taking if you plan to use this aura.

Благословение неприкосновенности

This blessing is not particularly great for the majority for the raid group, but is amazing for tanks. At least one Paladin in your raid should have access to this, usually, the same one who is also picking up Улучшенная аура сосредоточенности since they both require lots of points into the Protection tree. This also can be a worthwhile talent for PvP but is only worth taking if your group already has access to all other blessings, which will not be the case in most battlegrounds.

Расплата

While this can be very useful for leveling, it does not provide a good enough effect to justify so many points into the Protection tree if your main job is healing. If you are taking this as a Holy Paladin, you are giving up points into Священная сила, which is not a worthwhile trade.

Специализация на одноручном оружии

Damage is not your main concern, and this is too deep into the Protection tree to be worth taking.

Щит небес

While this is a great tanking ability, it is not worth taking as a Holy Paladin and is far too deep into the Protection tree.

Retribution Tree Talents

Улучшенное благословение могущества

Благословение могущества is a requirement for all melee in your group. Most builds will include this since its such a powerful blessing for many classes, but can be skipped if you know that you will not be the one using it on your group.

Благодарение

Reduced mana cost of spells is usually a great thing, but you will not be using these frequently enough to justify the 5 talent points. This is an alright option if you want to go later into the Retribution tree and need filler talents.

Улучшенное провосудие

You normally will not be using your Правосудие on cooldown, making this talent not that great. This can be useful in PvP if you are trying to help kill someone, but is not great for PvE. There are better options in general, but again could be an alright choice if you need a filler talent.

Улучшенная печать воина Света

This is useless for PvE and PvP since you will not be using Печать воина Cвета ever.

Отражение

This is a great filler talent and defensive choice for PvP, but useless for PvE.

Подтверждение

There is really no reason to be going this far into the Retribution tree as a Holy Paladin unless you are trying to do some sort of Holy/Ret hybrid. This talent could be situationally good in PvP against melee targets but is not worth the points. There are better options to take for both PvP and PvE.

Приговор

This only increases your critical strike chance on attacks, not for your healing spells, making this useless in PvP and PvE as Holy unless you are trying to go for a Holy-damage based build.

Печать повиновения

While Seal of Command is great for Retribution Paladins, it is useless for Holy.

Погоня за справедливостью

Movement speed is very important in general, and this would be a great talent to take if you needed to move later into the tree. However, it is not worth the points it would take to get here unless you had a specific build with a later talent in mind.

Око за око

This is a powerful PvP talent against casters and can reflect lots of damage, but is not worth taking in general due to how many points in the tree it requires.

Улучшенная аура воздаяния

Improves your Аура воздаяния, which is great if you were running this aura. There are better aura options for most situations though and is not worth spending the points for.

Специализация на двуручном оружии

This is useless for Holy Paladins since you do not use 2H weapons, unless you were trying for some sort of Ret/Holy hybrid.

Аура святости

Paladins are the only class that does holy damage, making this aura not useful in most situations. Retribution Paladins are the only spec that would benefit from this, and they are most likely going to have this already talented themselves, meaning it is better for them to use it and for you to use something else.

Отмщение

While the damage bonus on this could be good if you were trying to make a damage based build for PvP, this is useless as a Holy Paladin where your main role is healing.

Покаяние

This is a powerful control spell in PvP, but requires far too many talent points in the Retribution tree to be worth taking.

Leveling WoW Classic Paladin Talent Builds

Why Retribution?: Retribution talents have a lot of synergy with each other, between Отражение, Приговор, Специализация на двуручном оружии, and Отмщение, simply auto attacking will get you through most of your leveling content. Paladins are one of the best support classes and even as Ret they can provide a leveling partner like a Rogue or Warrior with a lot of utility to overcome any sort of world PvP you might encounter while leveling.

Some Talents Come Down To Preference: The order in which talents are suggested in the following guide are going to be based on the assumption that you're on a PVP server and you'll occasionally get into a scrap, if you aren't experiencing much World PVP you can take more PVE oriented talents.

BiS Gear

According to your own database, some of the best pre-raid items listed for phase 1 arn't available in phase 1.

These items are,

Shroud of the Nathrezim (Shoulders)
Belt of the Ordained (Belt)
Band of Rumination (Ring)

My suggested replacements would be,

Dawnbringer Shoulders (Shoulders)
Ban'thok Sash (Belt) or Crystallized Girdle (Belt)
Rosewine Circle (Ring)

this guide sux badly. u can't pvp as holy paladin without imp concentration aura. improved dev aura is useless since u be using concentration most of the time. u need redoubt and shield specialization instead. go 3/3 imp conc aura 2/3 imp HoJ (HoJ is pretty useless against horde since u'll be facing alot of priests and orcs both of which gona resist ur stuns like crazy).
deflection is just rofl. u can't parry or dodge while spamming flash of light and that's what u gona do most of the time.
BoM is pretty useless too. u need 3 blessing for pvp - SACRIFICE, freedom and BoP. sacrifice is what makes paladin so unique and imba in pvp. u can occasionally bom ur war or rogue though, when ur 100% sure u not gona get cced.
looks like this guide is written by some1 who never done pvp as holy paladin :/

Meh. Bad guide. Why call seal of command useless? Ever think people want to farm outside of raids or actually be able to you know...KILL things? It's a great talent and worth the 11 points in ret to pick it up. Classic doesn't need optimized raid groups, you can easily swap kings for a good solo talent.

This talent guide calls Hammer of Justice "mostly useless" in PvE. This is demonstrably untrue, especially in dungeons. There's better talent choices for PvE, but Hammer of Justice is not useless.
