Астральный защитникНебесная послушницаДрессированный темночешуйчатый змейАстролог ДжаринАстральный защитникИскрящий разлом

Tanks should be sure to face Астральный защитникs away from the raid, and players should stay behind them

The Defenders will also frequently leap to a random target and cast Звездное сокрушение

Звездное сокрушение deals moderate damage to all players within 6 yards of the target

This also creates a large pool of Звездная пыль that will deal moderate damage each second to players standing inside it

Ranged DPS and healers should spread out to reduce Звездное сокрушение's splash damage

All players should move away from nearby Звездная пыль, and tanks should be sure to pull enemies away if Звездная пыль spawns near melee

Небесная послушницаСияющая стрела

About every 20 seconds, they will cast Бросок жребия

Бросок жребия will mark three players - a tank, and 2 randomly-chosen targets - with Злая судьба

This increases the Arcane damage those players will take by 100% for 1 minute

Healers can dispel Злая судьба from its targets, and should be certain to do so on tanks

Additionally, Небесная послушницаs will summon Чародейский колодец adds

Чародейский колодецs will cast Переполнение every 10 seconds, which fires a handful of projectiles at random players

The Переполнение impact deals moderate to heavy damage to players within 4 yards of the targeted locations

All DPS should quickly swap to Чародейский колодецs and kill them before too many Переполнение casts get off

Астролог Джарин

Небесное клеймо targets three players and debuffs them with Небесное клеймо

Every 5 seconds, these players will pulse, dealing moderate damage to all players within 3 yards

Targeted players should run out of the raid to avoid dealing damage to other players

Небесное сокрушение marks a player with Небесное сокрушение

Players must stack up to split the damage amongst enough targets to be survivable

Phase 1, the ice phase, lasts until Star Augur Etraeus reaches 60% health

Phase 3, the void phase, lasts from 30% until Star Augur Etraeus is defeated

Жажда кровиГероизмИскажение времениБольшой взрывБольшой взрывБольшой взрывPhase 0: The Dome of Observation

Coronal Ejection spawns and applies a DoT to 4 players

Корональный выбросКорональный выброс

Корональный выбросs are summoned in sets of two, with a brief delay between the first and second sphere

The first set occurs at 14-18 seconds into the fight, and subsequent sets - if Etraeus stays in this phase long enough - will happen at 30 second intervals

Each Корональный выброс sphere targets 4 nearby players and afflicts them with Корональный выброс

This deals moderate damage up front and leaves a powerful DoT for 8 seconds

The raid should stay stacked in this phase, and healers should use efficient AoE and single-target spells to heal up the Корональный выброс targets

Звездная вспышка

This spell deals heavy Arcane damage to the target, and it is cast approximately every 1.2 seconds

The tank with the strongest Magic-damage resistance should tank Etraeus for this phase

There is no tank-swap mechanic, as this phase is intended to be short, but tanks may wish to swap if they have exhausted resources or cooldowns

Assign at least one healer to ensure the tanks do not drop too low while the other healers are dealing with Корональный выброс damage

Переход через ПустотуPhase 1: Absolute ZeroГравитацияГравитация

The Гравитация debuff has a 10-second duration and will draw a purple circle around the targeted tank

At the end of the debuff, an icy comet will hurtle toward the tank, dealing Падение кометы damage

This damage is very heavy and will splash to any other player within 5 yards

Падение кометы will apply Абсолютный нуль to the tank, which deals extremely heavy periodic damageАбсолютный нуль draws a snowy white circle around the tank with a 5-yard radius

To remove the Абсолютный нуль debuff, at least 3 other players must stand within this circle at the same time

The players who help remove Абсолютный нуль will gain the Окоченение debuff for 12 seconds

If a player with Окоченение becomes in range of Абсолютный нуль again, they will become Полная заморозка, and stunned for 10 seconds

Падение кометыГравитацияГравитацияПадение кометыАбсолютный нульГравитацияАбсолютный нульПадение кометыmustПадение кометы

Instruct all members of the raid to never be within 5 yards of the marked area

When the tank is affected by Гравитация, the off-tank should taunt

The debuffed tank should run to the marked location for each Падение кометы

After each Падение кометы, the tank should run to one of these groups to remove Абсолютный нуль

The tanks should pick an order (e.g. Left/Back/Right) and visit the groups in that order for the entire fight

Players in each group should stack tightly and quickly return to their locations if they ever become displaced by other mechanics

This strategy works neatly for raids large enough that each group can have at least 5-6 players in it

In a smaller raid, divide players into two equal groups - A and B - and have the tanks alternate; the first tank will visit ABA, and the second tank will visit BAB, to drop their Абсолютный нуль stacks

Icy Ejection targets 3 nearby players

Run to the edge of the platform

Корональный выбросВыброс льдаВыброс льда

Players affected by Выброс льда will Раскалывание when the debuff expires, dealing heavy damage to themselves and all others within 8 yards

In addition, the Выброс льда debuff deals moderate periodic damage and will progressively slow the player's movement speed

In order to avoid excessive Раскалывание damage, the Выброс льда targets must run out toward the edges of the room, away from others

Выброс льда targets must react quickly to be able to get far enough away, due to the progressive slow

Healers should make sure all Выброс льда targets are topped off as their debuff is about to expire

The Выброс льда targets should use a defensive cooldown if they are not on full health as Раскалывание approaches

Following the Раскалывание, these players should quickly return to their assigned group location

Выброс льдаВыброс льдаВыброс льдаРаскалываниеАбсолютный нульВыброс льда

The first Выброс льда occurs about 15 seconds into the phase

Then there is a 35-second period of time with no casts

He will then cast 3 Выброс льдаs over 15 seconds

Then there is a 50-second lull with no casts

Etraeus will then cast 3 Выброс льдаs in 5 seconds, leading to 9 simultaneous Выброс льда debuffs

Выброс льдаЗвездная вспышкаЛедяная вспышка

Etraeus will attack with Ледяная вспышка frequently, dealing heavy damage to the tank that splashes to all other players within 6 yards

The two tanks should never stack up, and the active tank should stand at maximum range to avoid splashing on to other players

Переход через ПустотуPhase 2: A Shattered World

Fel Ejection targets 3 players with a DoT

Each DoT tick also drops Felflame pools

Корональный выбросВыброс СкверныВыброс Скверны

The Выброс Скверны debuff deals moderate periodic damage, and drops a pool of Пламя Скверны at the player's feet with each tick

The affected player will create four pools of Пламя Скверны during the Выброс Скверны debuff

Standing in Пламя Скверны pools will deal moderate damage each second, and these pools can stack

Players affected by Выброс Скверны should run out of the raid, toward the edge of the encounter area

Stutter-step out of each pool and try to drop the four Пламя Скверны pools close together to take up as little space as possible

After Выброс Скверны ends, return to a safer area of the encounter platform

In this phase, the Гравитация debuff lasts only 5 seconds

Метеорит Скверны will also remove adjacent Пламя Скверны pools from the platform

The affected tank should use this ability wisely to clear Пламя Скверны from congested areas

Other players should move away from the tank before the Метеорит Скверны so they do not take the splash damage

Метеорит Скверны's damage will also reapply Гравитация up to two more times, for a total of three Гравитация/Метеорит Скверны cycles per tank

ГравитацияМетеорит СкверныЗвездная вспышкаВспышка СкверныВспышка СкверныПереход через ПустотуPhase 3: Inevitable FateГравитация

The Гравитация debuff lasts 10 seconds in this phase, but is only applied once per cast instead of three times, as in previous phases

At the end of the debuff, the affected tank is struck by a Метеорит Бездны, dealing moderate damage to all players within 5 yards

The Метеорит Бездны will also spawn a То, Чего Не Может Быть at the tank's location

Too close - Void Shift

Turn your back to Witness the Void

Just outside the circle is safe

То, Чего Не Может БытьСмещение БездныГравитацияСмещение БездныТо, Чего Не Может БытьВидение Бездны

Use Жажда крови/Героизм/Искажение времени to quickly defeat the first То, Чего Не Может Быть

All DPS should quickly switch to the add to limit the number of Видение Бездны casts it can complete

Видение Бездны deals moderate damage and will Fear players for 8 seconds

To avoid the Fear, turn your back to the То, Чего Не Может Быть when its Видение Бездны cast nears completion

Melee DPS can briefly attack Etraeus during the Видение Бездны cast, in order to still deal damage while avoiding the Fear

Вспышка БездныЗвездная вспышка

Вспышка Бездны is cast against Etraeus's current tank every few seconds

The application of Вспышка Бездны deals no damage, but leaves a stacking DoT

When Вспышка Бездны expires, it will leap to two new targets, with each target gaining half of the stacks that the original debuff had when it expired

In this way, Вспышка Бездны will propagate through the raid

It is important for tanks to avoid getting excessively high Вспышка Бездны stacks, because half of what is dangerous on a tank can still be very dangerous on a non-tank player

The goal is to minimize the size of Вспышка Бездны stacks that are spread to other players, so that the damage remains manageable

Whenever a То, Чего Не Может Быть is not active, tanks should swap at around 6 stacks of Вспышка Бездны

Корональный выбросВыброс БездныВыброс Бездны

Выброс Бездны deals heavy damage on application and after 8 seconds, when it expires

When Выброс Бездны expires, it will summon 2-3 Порождение Бездны adds per target

Выброс Бездны occurs at an increasing rate throughout the phase

Порождение Бездны

Tanks should get threat on the Порождение Бездныs, as their melee attacks will grant the target stacks of Вспышка Бездны

Use AoE CC and stun abilities to reduce the number of Вспышка Бездны stacks that each set of Порождение Бездныs can generate

Порождение Бездны

This phase features constant raid damage and is a race against ever-increasing Вспышка Бездны stacks

Healers should heal efficiently during the early stages of the phase, as mana will likely become a problem later on in the phase

Once Вспышка Бездны has applied itself continuously to the entire raid, healers should begin chaining cooldowns, one at a time, until the boss is defeated

Большой взрывStrategy Summary

Tanks should swap duties whenever a tank becomes afflicted with Гравитация

During Phase 1:Divide the raid into three groups; players in each group should stack loosely

When targeted by Выброс льда, run out to the edge of the room to Раскалывание

Mark a spot for tanks to run to for Падение кометы

After Падение кометы, the tank should bring the Абсолютный нуль debuff to one of the three clumps of players to clear it

This will occur three times per Гравитация debuff; the tank must use a different clump of players each time

The raid should spread out in the middle of the room, staying away from the outer rim of the encounter area

Players targeted by Выброс Скверны should run out to the edges to drop Пламя Скверны pools

Tanks should use Гравитация/Метеорит Скверны to clear Пламя Скверны off the floor

Focus this on areas where the Пламя Скверны is encroaching upon the raid

The raid should stack behind the boss for ease of healing and to keep Порождение Бездныs stacked up

Players affected by Выброс Бездны should use a defensive cooldown as it expires

Use stuns and AoE CC to keep Порождение Бездныs from dealing too much damage

The tank with Гравитация should run to the side to spawn the То, Чего Не Может Быть

Tank the То, Чего Не Может Быть just outside the central blue circle

Use Жажда крови/Героизм/Искажение времени to quickly defeat the То, Чего Не Может Быть

Turn away from the То, Чего Не Может Быть when its Видение Бездны cast is nearly finished

Between the То, Чего Не Может Быть spawns, tanks should taunt after reaching around 6 stacks of Вспышка Бездны, to keep raid Вспышка Бездны damage light

Chain healing CDs once Вспышка Бездны spreads to most or all of the raid

Tank Responsibilities

Taunt-swap Etraeus each time the current tank gains Гравитация

Handle Гравитация appropriately in each phase:In Phase 1, run to an isolated area for Падение кометы, then stand on a clump of players to remove Абсолютный нуль

In Phase 2, run to an area dense with Пламя Скверны so that Метеорит Скверны consumes the puddles

In Phase 3, run outside the central blue circle to spawn the То, Чего Не Может Быть, and tank it there to avoid Смещение Бездны

Ледяная вспышкаВспышка СкверныПадение кометыМетеорит СкверныТо, Чего Не Может БытьВспышка БездныВспышка БездныТо, Чего Не Может БытьПорождение БездныDamage-Dealer Responsibilities

During Phase 1:If targeted with Выброс льда, run to the edge of the platform away from other players to Раскалывание

Use a defensive cooldown as Выброс льда expires

At all other times, stand with your assigned group of players

Spread out in the middle of the platform

Stay away from the tank marked with Гравитация

When targeted by Выброс Скверны, run to the edge of the area, and keep moving to drop your Пламя Скверны puddles

Once Выброс Скверны has ended, move back to a safe space near the middle, and stay spread out

Stack up behind Etraeus

Use a defensive cooldown as Выброс Бездны is about to expire

Use AoE CC/stuns on the Порождение Бездныs when they spawn

All DPS must switch to the То, Чего Не Может Быть immediately, and pool cooldowns/resources for it

Use Жажда крови/Героизм/Искажение времени during this phase

Turn away from the То, Чего Не Может Быть when it casts Видение Бездны

Healer Responsibilities

During Phase 0:Heal players affected by the Корональный выброс DoT

Top up players with the Выброс льда debuff before it fades

The tank with Гравитация/Абсолютный нуль will require heavy healing

Use cooldowns to top the raid up after multiple waves of Выброс льда/Раскалывание

If targeted with Выброс льда, run to the edge of the platform away from other players to Раскалывание

Use a defensive cooldown as Выброс льда expires

At all other times, stand with your assigned group of players

Both tanks will require heavy healing - at high stacks of Вспышка Скверны, or during Гравитация/Метеорит Скверны

Use cooldowns to recover from widespread Выброс Скверны damage

Spread out in the middle of the platform

Stay away from the tank marked with Гравитация

When targeted by Выброс Скверны, run to the edge of the area, and keep moving to drop your Пламя Скверны puddles

Stack up behind Etraeus

Use efficient AoE abilities to heal through the spreading Вспышка Бездны DoT

Chain cooldowns as the raid's Вспышка Бездны stacks get higher

Face away from the То, Чего Не Может Быть when it casts Видение Бездны

Looking For Raid Difficulty

Абсолютный нуль requires only one additional player within 5 yards to remove the Абсолютный нуль DoT, not 3

The player who helps remove the Абсолютный нуль stack will not be affected by Окоченение

The Гравитация tank should still run away from other players for Падение кометы

But can then clear Абсолютный нуль by running to the closest raid member

The rest of the raid should stay spread out to reduce Выброс льда/Раскалывание splash damage

То, Чего Не Может БытьВидение БездныHeroic DifficultyЛедяная новая

Ледяная новая's damage is reduced by having other players near you

Each other player within 5 yards reduces the damage you will take, up to a maximum of four other players

This should be automatic since the raid will be clumped in groups to handle the Абсолютный нуль/Окоченение mechanic

Ледяная новая occurs about once per minute, during a lull in Выброс льда casts, so no players should need to be standing anywhere except in their assigned groups

During the Ледяная новая cast, and for 3 seconds after, Etraeus will not cast Ледяная вспышка, so the active tank can stack on a group once the cast begins

The off-tank may be unable to stack with a group due to Падение кометы timing; use a cooldown to cover the Падение кометы and Ледяная новая damage if necessary

Новая Скверны

Новая Скверны's damage is reduced by distance from the boss

When Etraeus begins casting, all players should run away from the boss, including the active tank

Melee DPS may wish to use speed boosts to get away faster (or return more quickly)

Звездный знак: охотник marks the player with a green Star Sign and a green circle at their feet

On the second cast, Etraeus will also use Звездный знак: охотник, and 12 total players will be marked

The third cast adds Звездный знак: дракон and brings the total players marked up to 16

The Ледяной кристалл will last for 90 seconds

Every 3 seconds, it will emit a Леденящий импульс

Players must avoid these Леденящий импульсs while handling their own Выброс льда/Раскалывание mechanics

Уголь Скверны

The Уголь Скверныs will slowly fall to the ground at locations marked with green circles

Players standing within these areas will take fatal damage when the Уголь Скверны lands

In addition, the Уголь Скверны impact will blanket the immediate area in several patches of Пламя Скверны

Players must constantly avoid these Уголь Скверныs, especially while handling Выброс Скверны and Новая Скверны mechanics

Tanks must be diligent in using Метеорит Скверны to clear Пламя Скверны patches, since Уголь Скверныs create so many of them

Око БездныОко БездныВсепожирающая сила

Всепожирающая сила is a 5-second cast that will deal fatal damage to all players in a line in front of it when it completes

The raid must step aside to avoid the damage

Всепожирающая сила also summons a Остаток Бездны add

The Остаток Бездны will attack players with Пожирающий прах, dealing heavy damage split amongst all enemies in front of it

The raid should stack in front of the Остаток Бездны, and kill it quickly

However, То, Чего Не Может Быть is still the priority target should these two mechanics overlap

Великое соединениеВеликий тригонAbout the Author:DayaniFatbossTV

The boss appears to cast Большой взрыв 3 minutes, 15 seconds after phase 4 starts. This is a hard enrage that will instantly kill the entire group and serves as a gear check mechanic.

If you find your group dying to this, I recommend having one tank kite the third add away while the rest of the group ignores it and focuses down the boss. (Or second add, depending on your DPS).

As an astronomy passionate I find this boss extremely fascinating.

Комментарий от DrLemon

I feel that the symbolic escalation of his phases (as well as his verbiage during the final phase) allude to threats that Azeroth has faced in the past, is currently facing, and will imminently face in the future.

Phase 1: Frost (The Scourge)
Phase 2: Fel (The Burning Legion)
Phase 3: Shadow/Void (The Voidlords)

Blizzard loves to drop hints, as we know. I'm betting the next expansion will involve us coming back from dealing a huge blow to the Burning Legion on Argus only to find that the Old Gods have made their move once we return.

This might be useful for healers who are looking for tips just for healing and maximising their cd for this fight!

Doesn't seem possible to solo in BfA, because of the Absolute Zero debuff, that cannot be removed without being close to other players. Well, guess I'll wait till next expansion, so I can nuke him down much quicker.
