Lilian Voss

Once a member of the Scarlet Crusade in life, Lilian struggled to accept her undeath at first, rejecting the Forsaken for many years while she persued revenge against the Scarlet Crusade - who turned on her completely the moment she became undead - on her own. However, player characters know her well - she's front and center of many Forsaken-themed quests.

When Sylvanas Windrunner abandoned the Forsaken, Lilian stepped up as interim leader, though she was never comfortable with the role. Now, Lilian is one of several notable Forsaken who make up the Desolate Council.

Calia Menethil

Once the sister to Arthas Menethil, Calia may technically have a claim on the throne of Lordaeron. However, she insists she has no interest in the throne, and instead represents those Forsaken who still feel ties to their living Alliance loved ones.

Calia is unusual in that she was created by Light rather than the powers of Death, making her the first known "Lightforged" Forsaken.

Deathstalker Commander Belmont

A veteran from the Gilneas invasion, Deathstalker Commander Belmont served directly under Sylvanas Windrunner herself, and in a way represents old-school Forsaken.

Belmont is a member of the Desolate Council.

Dark Ranger Velonara

Once on of Sylvanas Windrunner's own Dark Rangers, Velonara was loyal to the Banshee Queen until Sylvanas abandoned both the Forsaken and the Horde and left for the Shadowlands.

Velonara is a member of the Desolate Council.

Master Apothecary Faranell

Master Apothecary Faranell is the current leader of the Royal Apothecary Society, one of the Forsaken's most established institutions. As such, he loves all things poison, plague, and blight - even if it means sometimes going against what's strictly legal.

Faranell is a member of the Desolate Council.

Sylvanas Windrunner

Founder and former leader of the Forsaken, Sylvanas Windrunner was adored by her people, but she fell under the influence of the Jailer and abandoned them in favor of joining him in the Maw to carry out his plans. Over time, Sylvanas came to regret this, and now serves penance in the Maw, gathering souls until there are none left to save.

Though she hasn't always shown it, Sylvanas is proud of the Forsaken, and believes in their future.

Many times. In the Plaguelands, in Northrend. Some of them gave up and joined less fanatical orders, but it seems like there's always some old leader or new opportunist willing to take up the accursed banner.
There's people in the world with good reason to hate the Forsaken. But the Scarlet Crusade isn't here for that. We are the living dead, and they think we are just abominations meant to be destroyed.
For some, that's all they need for killer hatred.

Deathstalker Commander Belmont: This? This is a problem. The Scarlet Crusade has overrun parts of Silverpine Forest and made a
base on Fenris Isle. We don't have the numbers to dislodge them outright.

What a magnificent demonstration of the Apothecaries' might! Of course I kept a small sample of the explosive plague for safekeeping.
And you never know when it might come in handy in the future. A good explosion solves so many problems.

Dark Ranger Velonara

We could not have achieved this without our combined forces. The Dark Rangers will always stand behind our people and protect them with bow and blade.
Even if this existence sometimes feels like a curse, we are not alone. Our sisters and brothers in the black arrow stand assured.

Lilian Voss

I won't forget this, and chances are, neither will the Scarlet Crusade. We've proven that we can't be squashed.
There'll always be someone who thinks we don't belong, but we'll outlast all of them. Together.
