Retribution Paladin Rotation in

Holy Power Economy: Generating and spending Holy Power comprises the majority of your damage. Make sure to not waste it by generating it above the level you need.

Use Procs: Свет в душе can be wasted if Клинок справедливости isn't used fast enough. Make sure to be aware of when Искусство войны procs in order to spend them as soon as possible.

Manage your cooldowns: Although using them as soon as they come up is usually the best option, sometimes there can be situations where one ability is delayed and you need to hold it slightly in order for your cooldowns to all line up. There can also be situations where holding them for mechanics or extra add spawns can be better overall.

Best Retribution Paladin AoE Rotation

Retribution in AoE uses a priority list. This means with each GCD we go top to bottom on a list, and press the button with the current highest value. Retribution swaps to the AoE priority on 3+ targets in almost all talent builds. When using Буря Светоносного and not using Юрисдикция, it can swap to the AoE priority on 2+ targets instead.

    Pre-Combat Check
    
    Before any combat happens, it is important for Retribution Paladin to make sure the following are done. This is mostly important for raids - dungeons, delves, or open-world content generally won't require all of these buffs.
    
    Retribution Paladin Major Cooldowns
    
    Retribution has quite a few cooldowns, mostly 30 and 60 second abilities, that will naturally line up together when used on cooldown.
    
    Execution Sentence
    
    The goal with Смертный приговор is to fit as much damage within its window as you can. All damage done to targets hit by the initial damage count towards the funnel portion, so you should keep using AoE abilities if you're fighting multiple targets. The final damage portion is buffed by effects that are active when it lands, not when it is cast, so be careful to still have buffs like Гнев карателя active when it lands.
    
    Avenging Wrath
    
    Гнев карателя is a straightforward off-GCD damage buff that you'll want to make sure you have active before using other cooldowns. When using Гнев карателя, you'll ideally want to stack it sooner rather than later, but it's worth putting other abilities like Смертный приговор on cooldown before worrying about stacking it.
    
    Radiant Glory
    
    Блистательная слава removes Гнев карателя as an active ability and instead automatically applies it when Испепеляющий след is used. Because the duration of the buff is relatively short and Испепеляющий след does a significant amount of damage, it's better to cast Испепеляющий след inside a Смертный приговор window rather than trying to have a buff active before using Смертный приговор if you're using both of them.
    
    Hammer of Light
    
    There's two situations when Молот Света will become castable: right after pressing Испепеляющий след, where it costs 5 Holy Power, and when you reach 50 stacks of Избавление Света, where it's free. You should aim to already have 2 Holy Power when using Испепеляющий след, including effects that will give you extra before your next cast like Удары Света, so you can immediately cast Молот Света.
    
    If a free Молот Света proc happens just before Гнев карателя comes off cooldown it's a good idea to hold it, and it can also be held a few seconds if Неоспоримое постановление is already active, but make sure to use it if Гнев карателя or Смертный приговор is about to end and before the proc expires.
    
    Trinkets
    
    Retribution will often value on-use stat trinkets highly. Retribution can often use multiple of these, as they can be lined up with alternating cooldown sets with little downside. You should use them with Гнев карателя, before your other important cooldowns. When using Алгет'арская шкатулка с секретом, it can be channeled precombat on pull, but should otherwise be used before the rest of your cooldowns, since it takes a few seconds to gain its buff.
    
    Гнев карателя doesn't buff the damage of trinket procs or on use effects, but it does increase their Crit chance, which means that for most instant on use trinkets you'll hold them a few seconds on pull for a little bit more damage. For trinkets with a cooldown desynced from Гнев карателя, you generally don't want to hold it or Гнев карателя for 30s to line them up - this is a major damage loss as you'll often lose casts over a fight.

Why does the opener list blade of justice BEFORE judgement?
I get the cooldown and damage are different but in any situation where you open on a boss that is likely 30+ yards away, you're not gonna be able to use BoJ until you're almost in melee range, so opening with judgement while walking to the boss will net you 1 more gcd. It's simply more efficient and intuitive.
Honestly sometimes it feels like guide writers only play simcraft and not the actual game

It seems like there's a little bug in the rotation list. It says "Requires Crusade" over both the Crusade entry as well as the Avenging Wrath entry. Obviously the normal wings don't 'require' Crusade.

I noticed Holy Avenger is included and Divine Purpose was left out. Only mentioning it because of the new Sims section.

With the Tier Set the rotation change is rather simplistic. You just give the 2pc as many chances as possible to pop after a Divine Purpose proc. You just hold you're free HP spender from Divine Purpose until you either hit 5 HP or Art of War procs. The result is 2 HP spenders inside the 3sec Seraphim.

If your lucky DP procs off DP. Damage can be amazing . . or below average.

It was the most fun set up to test in ptr . . . but . . . it's a big dice roll.

Why do you spec into exorcism if you never use it? Also, why do you spec into radiant decree? It seems way worse than Ashes to Dust. Since Wake of Ashes does more damage on your main target (and still some AoE), you already have AoE on Divine Storm and Consecration AND you get more Holy Power generation for Divine Storms which do more damage and in the end of packs (say >3 mobs) you can switch to Templars Verdict and have more Holy Power generation to keep Righteous Verdict up.

I'm confused. I freshly spec'd into this because my guild has plenty of tanks. Consecration is listed in the rotation, but I have been searching for it for several minutes and cannot find it either in my spell book or talent tree. What am I missing?

Hello, can someone explain to me why Final Verdict and Divine Storm has a much higher prio at 5 holy power compared to 4. I can't find any reason not to send them at 4 or am I missing something?

With the t30 set bonus, Молот гнева also applies the Правосудие debuff, which means that you essentially drop Правосудие from your rotation entirely inside Гнев карателя keeping most Вердикт храмовника still buffed with Молот гнева and Божественный резонанс.

Where is this information coming from and wich buff is it talking about?

Can you throw Молот гнева instead of Правосудие when Огонь очищения is up and gain the set bonus effect damage?
— If so, why is this page the only one with this information?

Or is this about the buff coming from Великое правосудие for your next holy power ability?
— If so, then why mention the « with the t30 set... » to begin with? That buff has nothing to do with it...

There are too many contraddictions there: the entire page tells you to use as many Правосудие you can, keeping it on cooldown all the time and then suddenly it tells you to drop it entirely during your main burst window? (as that would be "just then" like it's not every 60 seconds) wich one is it now...?

Why use Клинок справедливости AND Правосудие before Испепеляющий след during Templar RG opener? Seems like a waste of GDC and a Holy Power.
Клинок справедливости with Священный клинок talent generates 2 Holy Power, Испепеляющий след adds 3, giving us enough Holy Power to use Молот Света without extra Правосудие.
Or is the delay intentional (e.g., accounting for potential party buffs that come 1 GCD later)?
