Retribution Paladin Cheat Sheet Retribution Paladin Changes in Midnight Season 2Удары Света

Гнев карателя reduced to 15% Critical Strike chance and damage.

Damage of all main generators and spenders increased.

Удары Света now increases attack speed instead of reducing it, but no longer generates extra Holy Power with Небесная ярость.

Искусство войны can now stack twice.

Try to not waste Holy Power. This is the most important thing to remember when playing Retribution. A significant portion of our damage comes from spending our Holy Power, so overcapping it will reduce your damage significantly.

Keep Огонь очищения active and Правосудие debuffs applied to enemies. These effects significantly buff your other damage.

Use longer cooldowns as often as possible and together. If they end up held and the cooldowns are misaligned, they will be a lot weaker individually than when they are properly used together.

Here is a macro I made up I want to share. It is very simple and fun to use because I didn't really like Retribution Paladin for years because I kept away from writing macros.

/castsequence reset=6, Crusader Strike, Blade of Justice

It's pretty easy. The reset cool down should be enough.

Open source.

I found this guide to be very helpful. Thank you!

The fantasy section looks lackluster to me. Here's my idea for a revision:

Where other paladins would use their powers to protect the innocent, Retribution Paladins opt to punish the guilty. They zealously channel the Light to transform themselves into avenging angels, smiting their enemies and aiding their allies in doing the same. No matter how dire the situation becomes, the paladin remains ardent, faithful, and brave to the very end.

Retribution has received almost no changes to its current abilities. The only change was a healing nerf and Legendary quality of life change for Venthyr, a covenant that Retribution doesn't use anyway. This is a opinion not fact,I play two pallies and my main uses Venthyr and the other setup your way and not a lot of difference in dps plus venthyr helps raid group with heals and adds to my burst with hammer up for a long time. Please keep opinions to just that and remind people to play what they like and not just what some think are best dps.

Hey I had a question on why

Community perception of Retribution is not particularly high.

was placed in the weakness section for ret pallies? I'm coming back to the game for DF and I never heard of ret pallies being iffy except for like in vanilla.

All of the BiS gear that is from previous dungeons, is that because they are coming back during the season?

Комментарий от Archalyon

Wowhead please replace the guide writer

Комментарий от cLax0n

Guide writer Bolas is currently crashing out. Grab some popcorn my ret friends.

Комментарий от chincheckchuck

Maybe time for a new guide writer since this one has decided that helping the community is less important than their parse

Комментарий от Sazapahiel

Since this guide writer has decided to go down to clown town they need to be replaced. Nobody should ever take them seriously ever again, I certainly wont.

Комментарий от Camron

I will be boycotting Wowhead guides until Bolas is removed from any and all guide-writing duties.

This is, as you can guess, related to the recent Discord drama where Bolas is having a complete mental breakdown because he didn't get what he wanted.

Not a good look for a guide writer, nor an adult.

Should I even play ret without double digit buffs?

Комментарий от Tyneic

I'm confused, I came here looking for a guide on how to shut down a discord channel, where do I find that info? I've checked twice and this is indeed the Ret guide so it's gotta be around here, right?

Комментарий от Grunchler

Imagine playing a class that you have to cry on a discord server about to get buffs.
