Survival Hunter Hero Talents: Pack Leader and Sentinel Pack LeaderВой вожака стаиSentinelSentinelPack LeaderSentinelSentinelPack Leader

Throughput & Damage Profiles: Sentinel generally has more favorable damage profiles for both ST and AoE, while being punished less for downtime.

Defense: In Midnight, both of our hero trees have very potent defensives. Sentinel's defensive Не оглядывайся relies more on RNG as it is dependent on your procs, whereas Pack Leader's defensive Укрывающий панцирь is much more controllable as it's tied to our existing defensive.

Utility: Pack Leader has a bit more external utility (albeit niche) with an external speed boost in Приказ дрессировщика, whereas Sentinel's is self utility by increasing your movement speed in Закалка.

Playing a Survival Hunter in rotation guide

Always Be Tipping: It's important that we generate and spend as many Tip of the Spear instances as possible, without over-capping. In practice, this means you'll use Команда "Взять!" every third ability.

Keep abilities on cooldown: We want to use as many Boomstick and Wildfire Bomb as possible in any given fight, so we want to make sure not to delay these abilities too long. There is some degree of flexibility for Wildfire Bomb by utilising its second charge, but it's important to keep these on cooldown.

Manage your Focus: With our primary resource, Focus, being limited by cooldown, it's important you're using that ability as much as you can without overcapping the resource. Do not let it sit on both charges of the ability.

I read one of the news articles before so, I knew that this spec was getting nerfed. I didn't know that some moves were buffed. That makes me overjoyed because I was afraid that Activion-Blizzard would pigeonhole players into choosing BM. And as much as I love it, I think all of them should remain viable.

You don't really explain the basics, particularly armor and weapons. I can wear leather or mail. Which one should I go with? Also, other Hunter specs use ranged weapons but this one doesn't? What weapon type should I use? You need to cover that.
