Pretty much... Just mash SS and weave in specials seems to be the general rule of thumb.
As for weapons, focus on weapons with the higest DPS. Possibly favouring higher DMG over DPS if you're after big crits.

As MM won't you want a slower weapon? By the wording of Chimera Shot I would assume so.

The reason it says 1.5 instead of 2 is because of the .5 auto shot cast timer that gets tacked on

uuuum im now confused... because prepatch im 99% sure that the tooltip also said 1.5 seconds. Yet patch notes say 2.0 seconds. and we know that prepatch it was 1.5. so did this .5 second auto timer just appear? im pretty sure its been around for a looooong time. right?
