So i was working on my Pally alt and i got a group for SM GY. We port in, start moving down the steps and I noticed the rogue in the group was naked. So i asked if he was going to put on his gear and he replied "Maybe" so another pally in the group started tweeking out on him but we started the instance anyway. We couldn't kick him sadly
We got to the first boss and the fist weapon dropped and the rogue and a warrior needed on it and the rogue won. The rogue started messing with us and was like "I can do damage now. No need to kick me." He still was useless. We were able to kick him before the last boss.
The point is that if we couldn't kick someone who was actually at his comp, what is stopping someone from just zoning in and going afk? the 15min debuff will stop most people from just leaving the group. This reminds me of when i leveled my warrior and there were 6 afkers in AV just sapping xp. Is this a fatal flaw in this system?if this
Edit: Sorry if this is a repost.

I don't understand why you couldn't kick him, its a voting system, majority vote will remove the offending player. You just right click on his character frame and vote kick him out.

When we tried we got a message saying "You cannot kick this player at this time." When were finally able to, it coincided with the debuff being lifted.

Good to know, I have never had the need to kick someone yet. *knock on wood*
But I am thankful for the new cross realm ignore feature that will allow me to never have to group with said player again.

Yeah, I like the ignore feature. I did RFD the other day, and one of the other DPSers was a shaman who made us wipe because he figured he could take on the Bone-pile all by himself (including the boss), while the healer was catching up to us... Once he rezzed himself he proceeded to do something very bad to my corpse. Needless to say I got out of there and ignored him.

There's a 5 minute grace period, according to Blizz.
The intention is to give players a 5 minute chance to "prove" they are worthy. After that, kick away.
