Silas swallowed the last of his meat and wiped his mouth with the back of a hand. "What's it the little bugger wants?" he asked Dirk, continuing a few steps towards the shadowed woman before twirling around and peering intently at the demon.

"Well that's what we're-hello? Where are you going?"
Hallus did not answer at once. Having pushed away from the table she wound the white fabric tighter about her jaw. Trying it off she shouldered her snowy jacket and hood back over her face. "There. I don't need to see the general now." Adjusting her bow so that it would not shake or impede her, she stood ready to return to the ice and snow. The night elve's blood red eyes drifted with undisguised disgust to the imp. "Where is she in the camp?"

Character:
Ormador of Argus
Location: Dun Baldar
The cold stung. His face twisted in on itself in response, coiling up to seek warmth closer to its base. It didn't work, he didn't care; he didn't plan on staying out much longer. He'd gone out wearing warmer clothes, of course - he was no fool - but he was in battle, he was fighting a war. Things are lost, things are discarded to gain the advantage. He hadn't noticed at the time - "the heat of battle" is aptly named - but he noticed when it was gone. He could manage, though, he'd faced worse: worse cold, worse places, worse events -
far
worse.
The warm of the bunker's interior was welcome as he stepped in with unpreventable noise. Blue flesh started to thaw, becoming less so, becoming it's healthy shade again, but it was his hooves that continued to ache; the snow had been cold, but it had been soft. Until they warmed he would deal with the ache walking brought him.
What he wouldn't deal with, however, was the high-pitched squawking of the single most irritating creature he had ever encountered. He'd had the pleasure of silencing them at those times, but he doubted that he would here. That was the downfall to this Alliance: it required more cooperation and acceptance than he believed should be given, than he believed the fel-drinkers and demon-breeders of the worlds deserved. He knew better than any other than his own what they would bring, what they always brought.
He looked down at the creature as he approach, his face the same scowl he always bore. Despite his contempt, it deserved no more than he would give to anything else. Raising his hammer of stone from a relaxed position but, but keeping it below a threatening one - for now - he posed the obvious question to the human conversing with the demon in his deep and clear but thickly-accent voice: "Ees thees creature yours?"

"It's a messenger...from a captured scout," Silas explained. "Not ours."
He raised a pacifying hand to the draenei and glanced over his shoulder. The elf was getting ready.
He guess that meant they were the 'help'.

"No!" Dirk snapped, shaking the diminutive demon as a terrier would a rabbit. "No demon speak! What are you doing? What-Wait!" he shouted at Hallus who was already at the door, grasping the handle. "Wait for us!" Dropping the imp he snatched up his gloves and shoved them onto his hands, grumbling and cursing colourfully beneath his breath as he forced them on, receiving some trouble from stiff fingers as though his hands rebelled against returning to the realm of numbing cold.

Ormador turned and followed after picking up some warm clothes to replace those he had lost earlier. He was set back by this, but the Light gave him strength and he covered the distance between them easily. He was less concerned for the safety of the demon's master - a rogue conspiring with demons was the same as a warlock, only less powerful and easier to slay (not that it was his intention, of course) - but he had a duty to this battle, and they needed as many allies as possible so not to fall behind the Horde - not the greater enemy, but the more active one in this situation.

"Sooo. Now what?" Falionna asked the sand troll and any other who where close enouth to hear her words. The undead elf moved closer to the troll. "I saw you wield flames. Don't suppose you can make a bomb out of the worgen if she is to leave teh cage. Like a living bomb land mine kind of thing?" She asked unsurley if the laws of the mystics would work in such a maner, for she is no mage. The dark ranger spoke loudly enought for the troll to hear but not the worg, it was more acurate to call it a whisper.

The Imp had run off far ahead and managed to fall through the icy ground and into a small cave as he yelled for help a Voidwalker appeared and the two demons fought while cursing at each other in demonic.
Just as 'help' arrived a Orcish warlock appeared holding dusk by the throat.

Fumbling back into the cold, Dirk shivered and jogged back towards the bridge leaving out of the fortress. Already at the end lurked the white figure of Hallus, waiting for the others to arrive. Red eyes turned to regard Dirk as he thumped across the divide to stand by her side, hunching his shoulders in preparation of the cold and flexing his fingers to keep the blood flowing.
"It's a long way to the keep," she said, the implication clear.
"Yeah. Well, it's not just your mission," he retorted.
She held his gaze for a moment, then turned to examine the pass through the hills ahead. "We'll skirt the field of strife. Keep to the borders and the mountains. Less likely there to be Horde to spot you there."
Dirk chafed at the implication of 'you there', but tapped it down and conceded the point. He was, indeed, far more likely to be spotted or tracked than the red eyed night elf.
It was then that he spotted the warlock. Dirk cursed and reached for a weapon. "How did he get here!"
Hallus did not bother with a reply. In a single smooth motion she drew her bow, nocked an arrow, and let fly.

Silas approached quickly on long strides, but grabbing all his gear from the armoury had cost him valuable seconds and he arrived too late for the exchange. The twang of the bow was enough to alert him, however, and by the time he was at Dirk's side he had readied his warhammer.
"Where did the little bugger go?" he panted. Then he saw the orc clutching the little bugger and filled in: "...you don't have to answer that."
