If you go into Lake Sunspring right off the coast of the village, there are about 7 or 8 corpses floating in the water. This makes the quest very easy (around 33, 47).

The bodies in the lake are UNDER water. They respawn quickly so no need to go into the village. Nice chest piece for an easy quest.

I found this quest to be very very easy.I found all the bodies in the water behind Sunspring Post.Look around the docks.Watch out for Lake Surgers though.

Currently to do this quest you have to have completed Solving the Problem; it doesn't have to be turned in, just completed. I tried burning corpses in water and on land and did not receive any credit until after I had completed Solving the Problem.

If you use your flying mount to fly into and out of the different huts where you can find the bodies, you wont encounter any mobs. Very easy.

umm if you read the description of the torch it is liquid fire.. as if that is suppose to make any difference. and thanks for the info btw.. was running around looking for bodies to torch.

Cool trick to help- water bodies, also at 33.44/40.64 two in hut respawn quick and can be burned without agro.

I have found the easiest way to complete is to burn all needed bodies UNDERWATER in the lake. Keeping distance from the elementals, you should be able to complete without conflict , if you so desire, in a few minutes time.

Don't mess around with the villager corpses around the huts in town. Go straight to Sunspring lake. Under the water at the end of the docks, there are more than enough corpses needed to complete the quest. If you have the quest The Spirit Polluted , you can do it too while you're there.

I, for some reason, didn't have the torch and I had to go back to Otonbu the Sage and abandon the quest and pick it up again.

Otonbu the Sage at Telaar in Nagrand wants you to use the Torch of Liquid Fire to destroy 10 Sunspring Villager corpses. Return the Torch of Liquid Fire when the task is complete.

Description

I have just gotten word of a catastrophe of epic proportions, <name>. The foul Murkblood have sacked the orc village of Sunspring Post, northwest of here, and murdered its residents. To make matters worse, they have begun dumping the bodies into Sunspring Lake. Should those bodies rot, our primary source of water in the region will be compromised.

It's a gruesome task that I give you next but it must be done. Take this enchanted torch and return to Sunspring. Burn all of the rotting orc corpses...
