This mob can easily be taken down with 2 people, but I guess it depends on your class. Just took him down with a Warlock and a Hunter. All you really have to do is DPS to the max and pull aggro from each other if you guys don't have the greatest amount of health.

The four water elementals are sometimes annoying because they frostbite you, which keeps you in place..I got a couple of adds on me because of it but no big deal. Have Fun!

Solo'd as a 62 warlock. Pulled with a shadowbolt + curse of tongues (to make sure she couldn't finish her casts while I stood in range). Kited her by putting a dot on while she was in range, moved to avoid the cast, wait for her to get in range again, repeat.

Soloed as 62 aff warlock,started with Soulfire and then dotted him. Be sure to time your casting at the time he knockbacks so you don't get interrupted. I used a Health Stone and a health pot, imp was out. It took me 2-3 wipes though.

She summons a water elemental that does minimal damage, and easy to kill. However she also uses a spell called frostbite (maybe the water elemental, but it was dead when it happened to me) that does around 2100 damage and roots you for a fairly long time (12 seconds I think). Took me 3 tries before I could find a spot right in the center so it wouldn't hit me. Soloed as a 64 rogue.

Solo'd as a 62 afflic lock. The fight pretty much went like this: Soul Fire, Curse of Tounges, Unstable Affliction, Corruption, Drain Life (repeatedly), Re-DoT up, Dark Pact a few times (low mana), used my Glowing Crystal Insignia when she got to about 1000hp, Major Healthstone, Drain Life until death. Very easy fight with the insignia near the end. I had tried a few times before and died when she got to 500hp (and that was with a Major Healing Potion and a Major Healthstone), but using the insignia made it a whole lot easier.

I soloed this with my lvl 65 BM hunter. A few levels earlier (at 62 or 63) I had already killed her out of boredom once, so it's perfectly doable at a lower level as well.

Just clear the area to the east, pull her out, activate BW and what else you might have at your disposal and DPS her down. I used mend pet once but that wasn't even necessary.

She did summon only one water elemental while I was fighting her, probably she will summon more when the fight goes on for a longer time.

Earth Shield, Flametongue weapon.
Put totem: stoneskin, mana, agility, (magma or frost resist)
No use potion, or bandage.

Did this with protection paladin, equipped spell damage gear & Judged Crusader + (trinketed) Rank5 Consecration spam. Sometimes judging righteous. She wasn't really casting at all after the fight started, only a few bolts. I did have to use LoH though.

The Quests "A Warm Welcome" http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9728 and "Plants of Zangarmarsh" http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9802 will be a good idea to get since they are in the same area.

I just soloed her with my rogue lvl 63. Used Adrenaline Rush + Evasion in the beginning and that took away alot of her HP.
Keep spamming Kidney Shot and Kick to prevent her from casting. Also Mind-Numbering Poison on one sword. Not very difficult and the adds was no problem.

When she gets to 1300-1200 HP she attampts to run so be sure your Kidney Shot is ready

Keep bash for when you need to heal yourself.
When it's up, use feral charge to stop her from casting (run away and charge her)
Went down rather smooth. might be an idea to swap to cat form around 15% and have maim ready for when she runs.

Soloable as a 63lv feral druid. Trick is to use cat form, since the mob is a caster. When low in health, pop to normal form, heal and you are ready to rock & roll in cat form.

Easily soloable as a 63 fire mage without any potions or using any mana gems. Just have Frost Ward up and you should be able to kill her before she can get you to a quarter health.

When I did it she was only able to summon one elemental.

Same tactic as fire mage but ofc with ice barrier. Just a tip engage the boss when ur ice barrier and frost ward has like 12 seconds left so as soon as they tick off due to dmg then u can recast them Died just as the 2nd add came out.

Just soloed pretty easily with a 65 warrior. I just built up a full bar of rage on another mob an fought her in Berserker stance so I could pummel when she started to cast. I popped Recklessness early on to get some big crits. I ignored the elementals and just finished them off after the fight. No healing required.

Fairly easy solo'd by a 61 Combat rogue.

Opened with Cs. Used AR/Evasion and nuked. Kick/Ks everytime she casts. Bladeflurry when her adds spawned. Ended the fight with 800 hp. Mind numbling poison is a big bonus to this fight. Bombs could come in handy too!

Soloed as a 62 frost mage (clearcast / water elemental), pretty bog-standard gear (what you get from quests in Hellfire Peninsula, mostly - with Netherweave Belt / Bracers / Boots and a Ruby Serpent jewelcrafting trinket).

Put up both Ice Barrier and Frost Ward (waiting until the cooldown on Ice Barrier was gone to actually pull).

Opened with Frostbolt, then put up the Water Elemental and just kept beating on her, refreshing Ice Barrier / Frost Ward whenever I could. When the Water Elemental expired, I just used Cold Snap and put it up again, then used Iceblock to get her off me (since I was at low health by then).

She only spawned one elemental, which I killed while leaving the Water Elemental to beat on her.

In retrospect, one thing I should've done was put Gift of the Naaru on myself pre-pull (ignore if you're not a Draenei), and the Cold Snap + Water Elemental was fairly unnecessary - I just could not be bothered using a healing potion + mana gem. Either way, she was at roughly 12% when I Iceblocked - at 10% she ran in fear, so I removed Iceblock and finished her off.

soloed as 63 holy pally. approached her from the north, cleared mobs... made sure all my abilities off of cooldown......
mana tapped her to pull her, then her first couple of attacks are frostbolts so i ran behind a pillar and just FoL while she wasted her mana, the bolts hit for bout 350 or so... then once she was down to bout half mana i SoC holy shock conscrate feliron bomb etc.... had to bubble, pot, and lay on hands thruout the battle but by using all my resources i was able to beat her down...

Managed to do this with my 65 paladin (heavy holy build and equipped appropriately). Attracted a few nearby Bloodscales in the process so had to hit LoH, but overall it wasn't too difficult.

ROFL solo'd her at lvl 61 hunter BM, and my pet was 60, the only thing i hated about this "boss" was that she ran at the end and pretty muched pulled everything in the village almost killing my pet. but over all it was funn. easy kill. ^.^

easily soloed as a 62 bm hunter. sic pet on her, cast mend pet and beastial wrath then use trinket. use steady shot in between autoshots. when she aggros on you, feign death then start attacking again. my pet died but i was above half health when i finished her even though i had an add. i'm in crappy hellfire gear btw.

Very tough solo as a fire mage, took Combustion and trinket to bring her down as well as a mana gem and it still took 3 tries. I was ignoring the ele, though, which totally screwed up my cast-then when she died I killed it from 58% with a fireblast. So, use blastwave when an add gets on you, then fire blast it, and get back to her. Overuse mana shield and frost ward and don't be afraid to use a mana gem.

I found this extremely easy to solo as a 62 affliction warlock once I learned to move out of the little blue circle spell (freezing circle.). The regular frostbolts are very survivable with a healthstone.

Soloed this as a level 65 Afflication/Demonology Warlock. I've seen suggestions elsewhere about putting Curse of Weakness on her but if you're using a Voidwalker, I wouldn't recommend it. I gave that strategy a shot and ended up with a dead VW and one of her frost elementals chasing me while she was left at 63%.

On the second try I sent in the VW first, cast Suffering (yes, Suffering) for the extra aggro and chance to miss and then applied Amp'd CoA, Corruption and Siphon Life. I then used Health Funnel and Drain Life as necessary. My VW lost aggro at about 50% but I kept draining, got a lucky Nightfall proc, popped a healthstone and down she went without creating any frost elemental adds.

Soloed it as a 62 Beastmaster Hunter.
Kitted her out of the Shrine, sent my pet (growl on) and just spammed shots until she was dead. I tanked half of the fight since she is ranged and when i was low hp just did Intimidation and Feigh Death and let the pet tank the rest.

Just be careful when she casts freezing circle and take your pet out of the fight until the circle is finished.

I completed it with a-lot less hassle than I originally thought I would, solo. Level 63 fire mage. Used Combustion and Ice Shield. Cleared mobs around the area. Got to maximum range of my Pyroblast then just went to town on her. The pyroblast dazed her and gave me time for another fireball. I had her down to about 70% health before she even got in casting range.

Counterspelled her frostbolt, and then went back to fireballs and fire blasts, Frost Warded against the next frostbolt and I DID use an Expedition Flare. It wasn't necessary, but it's nice having someone there =)

The only thing I will say it to keep at least one instant cast spell for when she tries to run. By the end of the fight, you won't have the mana to be fighting extra mobs.

Tip: Try to steer away from mana shield. I use a-lot of Stam and Int on my gear (5400 health and 7500 mana at level 63). Those of you with less health may be tempted to use it, but you'll run out of mana very fast, and even your ruby won't be enough to let you win a Shield to her Frost battle.

Also, don't be afraid to blink out. On one of my earlier attempts at 62 I found she had a relatively small aggro range, and unless you're using some odd trinkets, you couldn't be sweating wasted cooldowns.

Just barely managed to solo this on my level 63 10/0/44 belf paladin. I used Frost Resistance Aura, BoW and SoCo throughout the fight.

I started by running up hitting her with CS, HoJ and Judged SoCo. When she tried to cast frostbolt again, I waited until the last second and hit Arcane Torrent. This worked fine until her elementals spawned, and I lost a lot of health pretty quickly.

At this point, I had to bubble and bandage myself up. I meleed down the elementals that had spawned, and decided to try something different. I ran to the patch of water just south of where she spawns and started spamming FoL on myself. I used a mana pot after a little while, and had to move out of her circle of freezing whenever she cast it, and just kept spamming FoL. After a while, she'd burnt through her mana pool, and I was still in pretty good shape. At this point, I ran back up (foolishly forgetting to change my aura,) and started meleeing again. Used Mana Tap when it was up, and Arcane Torrented again when she tried to cast a random frostbolt. I had to LoH when I got low on health. When she got low, she tried to run, and I just burnt her down.

One word of advice: if you try this, kite her south when she's out of mana. She ran straight for the closest pair of slaves, and I just barely managed to run away before they killed me.

Soloed as a 63 UD Combat Rogue. The trick, as previously stated, is to pop AR, Evasion and after the adds spawn, Blade Flurry. You also have to kick, gouge and kidney shot her when she tries to cast a frost bolt and run when she uses freezing circle. Be sure to bring health potions and bandges in case things go south.

Another trick that works with any class to make the process easier is to use an Expedition Flare at the start of the fight for some extra help.

Soloed as a level 63 affliction warlock in subpar gear (still wearing some pre-TBC dungeon blues and Hellfire Peninsula / Zangarmarsh quest gear).
After trying to kite her, outranging her frostbolts (only doing a quick 180º to recast a DoT) and failing twice due to her resetting or getting slowed and hit by a freezing circle, I decided on a different approach.

I planned to use my Voidwalker for its Sacrifice after I had used my healthstone and healing potion, giving me enough survivability to down her. What I ended up doing was wearing her down with DoTs and outranging a couple of bolts as before, but when she summoned her elemental (she only summoned one the whole fight) I had the VW tank him. Afterwards I simply dodged the freezing circles as best as I could and shadow bolted/dotted her to death. Didn't even had to use anything more than my healthstone and potion. Shield was not necessary, and the VW was still at 3/4 of its HP and the elemental pratically dead at the time of her demise.
Maybe I got lucky and resisted a couple of bolts, I'm not really sure...but she went down far more easily than I thought she would using this strategy. What's definitely important is avoiding the freezing circles.

Solo'd as a 64 holy paladin. Cake walk. Easier than the melee naga boss to the south. Went pretty quickly too. Just kept stacking up seal of vengeance, judge, holy light at half health, hammer of justice (got two off, fight took about 2.5 min), spaced out my holy shock to make sure I kept mana up. Bubbled once. Used a heavy netherweave. Decent gear for the level but nothing really spectacular. Used Wisdom instead of Kings to make sure I had enough mana for the long haul.

Solo'd as a level 63 BM Hunter, but I found her Darkcrest counterpart a little easier to solo than this one. But here's how I did it.

First, I cleared a small area to make sure I could back up and move around a little if I needed to. I pulled with an Auto Shot at absolute max range (35 yards) and immediately started backing up as she is a caster and I wanted her to come to me. I outranged her Frostbolt cast which did pull her to me. Well I had her in the clear, I sent my Cat in.

I popped Beastial Wrath, Mend Pet and let her Growl twice for some aggro. Then, popped my trinket and started an Auto Shot/Steady Shot weave keeping Mend Pet active AT ALL TIMES. She was a tad hard when she spawned a little elemental add. He doesn't hit hard at all, but they are obviously immune to Freezing Trap and it resisted my Feign Death, so I had to deal with it for a few seconds. When she began to cast her Ice Chain thing (small circle and little chunks of ice appearing) I sent my pet after the add to snag aggro then put her back on the Naga. As a caster, her armor is fairly low so I was able to do some good damage, but I ran out of mana and wasn't able to use a Mend Pet which almost instantly killed my pet. The Naga was low enough on health though where I was able to stand at ranged to finish her off. Had a small scare when she "ran away in fear" because she is immune to Concussion Shot. But killed her in time. Then Feigned the add off.

Just make sure to clear every monster that possible could attack you, before you attack her. Then it will get easy. (62) BMhunter solo'd her easy, think u'ill to. Put an Freeze trap were ur standing cause she will summon 1 elemental.

Whoever said the frostbolts hit for only 320 is full of lies. It hits for 720 per bolt. However, it's not the frostbolt that was the issue, but the water spout. She'll use this ability quite a bit. The dmg of the spout itself is pretty low (300ish?), but the fall dmg, and the fact that it inturrupts my spell casting, is what makes this dangerous. And she casts this mana free, which means my tactic of letting her waste all her mana on frostbolt didn't work either.

Skipping. Reward wasn't all that good for a paladin anyways, specially prot.

this quest, along with the other wanted leader quest are both obtainable at 58. maybe even lower, i dont know. i had a 70 kill them for me and the gear was a huge upgrade from my pre-bc greens.

Managed to solo it as a 63 combat rogue. Not the hardest fight I've had, but certainly not easy. First time I died when a kick missed; second time beat her with a major health pot. Used Blade Flurry when she spawned her add--oddly enough, the add never showed up in the first fight, and she got below 25% health. Buffed with +20 stam food, the +30 stats sporebat buff, and the honored-level AP buff from the big tree down in CE Land. 5400 hp and 870 ap at that point, just for comparison's sake.

Solo'ed as a 64 BM hunter, with Gorilla pet.
No buffs, except Aspect of the Hawk.
Just keep casting Mend Pet, and it's easy.
Intimidate stopped her flight, as she tried do run away at like 1500 hp.

Edit: my equips are almost all green, with a few quest blues.

Just set pet to Passive til she pulled into the lake, then Intimidation, Bestial Wrath and shot her full of holes.

Soloed her with my lvl 62 hunter. On with the pet (Devilsour) and aspect of the Viper, so i didnt lost any mana. Only one Water Elemental came. It came on my and it wasent any threat at all. Solo her, she is very easy.

Obviously her being a caster makes it easy for DK of any specc to solo her. She werent able to cast a single spell on me. Just use Mind Freeze, Strangulate, Mind Freeze, Death Grip, Mind Freeze again - easy.

at level 61, now I'm a blood Spec'd DK so
Healing as I battle comes into play, if
you're the same Just get in BEHIND the little hut shes in,

Pull her, make sure you take out all of the minions surrounding
that area, then summon your goul and just DPS the fish out of her.

A Healing Potion and Rune Tap are highly reccomended.

Soloed this as a 61 enhance shaman. It was about medium difficulty at the beginning, but harder towards the end, if only because I got caught in that Freezing Circle. I started off with clearing the immediate area so no adds came, then aggroed her and immediately summoned my Spirit Wolves. Throughout the fight I alternated Earth Shocking whenever she started casting water bolt, and grounding totem if Earth shock was on cooldown. I didn't see how much she meleed for because my wolves were healing me through it all (Love those guys). When Maelstrom Weapon reached 5 stacks, I cast Chain Lightning for a bit extra.

After about 40 seconds is when it got rough. At low health(about 25%), she cast Freezing Circle. I tried to back away from the first one but got caught in it and frozen for about 10 seconds. My wolves also despawned at that time, which was 45 seconds in. She went about 35 yards away, out of range of my spells, and started waterbolting. Then she cast a second freezing circle, leaving me with about 30% health and 20 seconds of not being able to move, total. When she started to cast a third one, I managed to move before it hit, and hit her once with an earth shock and killed her (She had around 400 health when she ran).

TL;DR version: Earth shock, grounding totem when she casts, wolves to heal through the melee, watch out for Freezing Circle, done.

This mob is really a pushover. Took her down as a 62 Death Knight and had 80% hp left. It seems she wont spawn elementals if you take her down fast enough.

Just make sure to clear a few mobs around her.

i solo'd this quest with a 65 deathknight with unholy spec so i had my pet its easy if you know how to use the dk took me afew seconds to complete

i soloed dis wit ma lvl 63 frost death knight mostly green killed a mob and used raise dead immue all my frost attacks witch sucked it woz close but killed her in the end

managed to solo her as a 63 fury warrior. I followed blackfen's advice above to have my rage bar full from a previous fight. Also make sure to kill a sporebat before the fight so you have the awesome +30 all stats buff on. whirlwind killed the adds pretty quickly.

For this quest i would chose the Expedition Footgear or Wild Shoulderpads for tank. Dps, i'd chose Belt of the Moonkin or Gloves of Marshmanship. Healer, just chose Expedition Footgear to sell because it sell the most at any vendor. If DK Unholy use ghoul or the second player. You will also receive: 5G 80S

Solo'd as a level 62 Holy Priest . Even with an add interrupting half way through it wasn't too bad, Inner Focus + Desperate prayer crit helped.

Soloed as 63 fury warrior, had 50% HP left. Water elemental adds dead after 1-2 whirlwinds. Just stay back when he casts freezing circle

Soloed as lvl63 protection warrior, not very tough at all if you know how to react to his spells - ended the fight with about 78% of my HP left. Shield Bashed / Concussion Blowed / Shockwaved her casts as well as I could and when she started casting Freezing Circle, I just moved away, there's plenty of time and if you have cleared the surrounding mobs there's no fear of pulling adds. Charged/Intercepted her when she tried to run. Easy. :)

Edit: Didn't get water elementals at all...

Coords are 65.40 and she is easy to take out.
I soloed with blood spec on my 64 dk.
she will frost nova, disabling you to use close combat attacks.
the adds are also easy to take out, so you dont have to worry about those.

very doable, I soloed this one on a 62 Death Knight, used blood boil and death & decay as soon as she summoned the elementals, saved my death grip for when she started to freeze me and stand a bit further. The boots were a nice upgrade from the blues from the DK start quest series.

soloed as a 61 enhancement shammy, just keep the area clear because she does start running at low health. popped my wolves and set my totems down at the start. use wind shear and grounding totems to eat her bolts.

She is pretty easy to solo for melee classes. Exploit the pillars on her little altar place to LoS the Frostbolts. Interrupt the freezing circle.

Soloed as a 60 ret pally.. very easy with art of war healing myself alot. I had to use a lay on hands because of the water spout attack and a freezing circle.. Popped me up in the air and landed in the circle which then got me for a ton of damage. Other than that it was pretty easy, even pulled an add in mid fight and it wasnt a problem.

No problem. Lvl 62 MM Hunter, with wolf pet. Used an Expedition Flare for the extra help. Spammed mend pet. I only got knocked down to 45% health. Only because of thtat stupid trapping spell thingie that she casts.

Absolutely destroyed her as a 64 Arcane mage. Popped Arcane Power, stacked Arcane Burst to 4, and followed it up with the Missile Barrage proc that I had. She didn't even have time to cast Freezing Circle.

Soloable as a 63 druid with pretty good tank gear. Make sure cast bars are on.

I started in bear form, used mangle spam (with berserk) and Maim, more mangles then Rip, then went into bear form.

Basically, it's a watch of her casting bar and making sure you interrupt the circle spell with Bash when it shows up.

Took about two minutes and a little bit of out-of-shape healing, plus a healing potion.

Very easy to solo as demonology warlock at lvl 63. I started with my felguards Intercept, and let him keep aggro with Anguish and spamming Cleave a couple of times, cursed her with Curse of Agony, then put up Corruption and Immolate, sent one Soul Fire and then I could just send a few Shadow Bolts and after that I wanded her to death.

I buffed with Fel Armor, Soul Link and put a Greater Spellstone up too. Didn't even need to use a Healthstone.

Solo'd as a 58 ret paladin. Just clear the adds around her so it's a 1v1 fight. Mana will not be an issue due to JotW, but be sure to heal as often as you can. The fight was about 3 or 4 minutes long.

Easy solo for a 65 Retadin in 60% Blues, Popped HoJ at the start, rotating with FCFS, until she trapped me in her circle and started spamming Icebolt, which is where I had to LoH, got her to about 2k, which is when she started running, and luckily I had AoW up and killed her with Exorcism. All in all easy, don't be scared by the group quest, just try it.

Solo'd as a 64 Boomchicken. I just cleared the area around here, threw Rejuv and Regrowth on myself, popped my trees, dotted her up (moonfire and IS), popped Starfall, and then spammed Starfire.

Just solo'd this and the other Leader on my 63 shadow priest. Rajis is definitely the easier of the two - just burned her down as fast as I could, popped a health potion + dispersion when I started getting low on health/mana. Keep up your bubble when you can, because it lasts a lot longer against her than the other Leader. Be sure to clear out the other mobs and use mind flay - she will attempt to flee. The elemental is annoying but you can ignore it until she's dead.

Gear: standard quest/dungeon greens and blues, no heirloom items.

Just solo'd as a 63 Feral Druid. Killed some of the mobs around her first, just in case (I'd just been bopped into other mobs by the leader of the Darkcrest for another quest, and had learned my lesson).

Used Thorns and Rejuvenation on myself right before, and then used Feral Charge and Ravage. She put out one water elemental soon after and I ignored it until the end...it didn't really do much damage. I basically just used Mangle, kept Rake active, and when I got full combo points used Rip. She was dead before my combo point meter was full again, and thanks to Rejuve, I hadn't really lost any health.

After that it was a one- or two-hit deal with the little elemental, and that was that. I found the Darkcrest leader to be much more difficult to manage, though I was also able to solo him on the first try thanks to Bear Form and Rejuve in the middle of it all.

• Accept the quest, Leader of the Bloodscale, from the Wanted Poster at coords 79.1, 64.8 (Cenarion Refuge).
