If you are having issues grappling the Aerospores, I noticed that for some odd reason that it doesn't work while in travel form as a druid.

Unshapeshift and it may allow you to grapple them like it did for me.

I had to add the grappler button to my action bar and use the keyboard to click it while using the mouse to "steer" (find targets). Since aerospores and mushrooms aren't technically targetable, trying to click on them and then click on the extra action button in the middle of the screen failed most of the time with the "no valid targets" message.

I managed to jump in the air with 1 mushroom from earlier quests then float nearby the "jumping mushrooms" and grapple hook to them without ever targetting them. It auto-targets them when you're close enough. I just clicked the extra action button with a X seccond cooldown and got it done with 2 jumps.

The green spores further north requires you to jump on a "jumping mushroom" to get in range. I got them done even faster than the first set of mushrooms since there's even less distance between them.

A Wowhead pro will write a comment with links and waypoints eventually so I won't even try to enter their domain xD

Naigtal is the best none fly zone that I can remember since the og Isle of Quel'danas? I've hated them all with a passion since forever ahaha. Also Blizzard actually managed to add a zone that feels like it just fits. That hasn't happened since forever as well, from my pov. Another thing, the zone doesn't feel boringly gimicky in the usual superlazy ways either. Time tells how I'll feel 1 week in but there's no way the zone will end up below top 3 bonus zones regardless. The winter 1 felt waaay worse when I tried the PTR. Mob density was annoying and yet I was on stealthy Rogue and still got hyper annoyed by the zone hahah.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, but sometimes when i got close to them they disappeared.
You can still use the grapple on them even if you can't see them.
More of this patches buggy junk.

When you've completed the quest, Lighthook Grapple appears on the General tab of your spell book, and you can add it to your action bars.

Seriously one of the most frustrating quests in the game. I died twice because the grappler kept failing to recognize my target and dropping me to the ground. Yuck blah stinky poo.

This is not a fun quest. Seems to have little relevance to anything and has a seriously annoying mechanic.

Hi all

Small Questchain that will lead you to have Lightforge Hookshot this skill You will have as Extra Bar Spell use it to pull Yourself to mushrums or green orbs that are throwing You up.

To start this Quests You need to finish at first Assault and Strike Back: Naigtal.

When You steping mushrums make shure that you are dissmounted.

1. Aerospores - At first You need to do Quest from Aerospores /way 47.57 81.30, You need at first step on Mushroom that will throw You up and slay Sporeray Elder to loot from them 3 Canopy Specimen.

2. Bouncy Mushrooms - Same use Mushroom to go up and find Aerospores green Orbs that will throw You up same like Mushroom. You need to use them 4 times you can use all the time same.

3. The Grappler - Start Quest from Zuronar /way 48.08 83.22, Now You need to same use Mushroom that will throw You up and use Lightforge Hookshot on 3 Mushroom and 3 Aerospores green Orbs.

Do not worry too much about trying to target the Aerospores - just bounce off a mushroom and glide as close as you can to one - once you are near an Aerospore - press the button for your "Lighthook Grapple" and if close enough it will automatically grapple the spore !

You don't have to target them. Just be in range and have your character facing in their direction.

Don't try to use the mushroom halfway up the hill - you don't get high enough. Use the 'shroom nearest the console orb. Jump across to the toadstool nearest the aerospores, then jump and try to grapple.
