Learned the hard way that this, like many other quests, cannot be completed while in a raid group.

The only way I've consistently avoided this event bugging out is by arriving before it starts and staying inside the middle circle the entire time.

Buggy? Prolly you NEED to FINISH this entire storyline > Go Low, Go Loud (better use BTWQuests Addon with Midnight plugin to check if or where you're at, and follow up), as pointed out by thegothmother's comment. Did questline (short one), then did entire event and got credit for WQ, got the weekly chest and 2k Singularity Rep.

That begs the question: Why didn't Blizzard INCLUDE this questline in the Voidstorm ones for the main campaign?

Also a TIP: BUY AND USE the Illegal Cosmic Emitter (from the Cartel broker nearby) for MASSIVE DAMAGE. Only 'use' the item WHEN you're gonna do the Event (preferably at its fullest, when you'll do the weekly). It'll give you a 60-min BUFF with an action button skill for a ST damage beam that deals a LOT of damage, but it has a CD (~10s I think). It costs 30x of the zone's currency, unless you really know how and Which defenses to drop at each point. If not, well, at least get this and preferably use it on the ELITES (specially the big Voidlord that comes at the last wave, which chews up ~30% of the Singularity's HP if not stopped).

Horrible, if you show up 0,1 seconds too late you can be there for THE WHOLE THING and it still doesnt count. At the same time, you might be there from the start, but you're the only one actually doing something, so you'll fail and not get anything. I *!@#ing hate this bull$%^&.

Very bugged, often do not get any progress. Absolute cancer and a chore, I hate this *!@#ing &*!@ so much.
