You can use both Steady flight and Skyriding flight to complete the quest, if you use steady flight you get the buff Sun Blossom's Spark with each blossom you hit, stacking 25% each time till the timer runs out
Skyriding does NOT give you this buff, but instead recharges 1 charge for the sky-riding abilities (like the green orbs in a skyriding-race)
The special/enhanced blossom's give you 3 quest completion points instead of 1 for the normal ones.
Requires completing Ignite the Skies: Stormwind first.
Continues into Ignite the Skies: Northern Eastern Kingdoms

If you can't see the Sun Blossoms, then go find the sky flows that boost your travel. Start at/near the beginning of the flow and ride it to the end - it will dump you right at Sun Blossoms.

The flows go from one spot to another, so look for the one leaving and follow it to the next spot.

When you are done with a region, look for ? on the map for the region turn in. I can't tell if it is always in the last area you are in, but mine have been.

Also, once you are done with Northern/Southern on one continent, look for the "fast travel" quest right in the area of the region turn in.

A minor note for lore enthusiasts, but the narrator is somewhat incorrect in saying that Thaurissan summoned the Firelord Ragnaros. In the War of the Three Hammers it states:

Seeking to summon a supernatural minion that would ensure his victory, Thaurissan called upon the ancient powers sleeping beneath the world. To his shock, and ultimately his doom, the creature that emerged was more terrible than any nightmare he could have imagined.

The narrator also claims that the humans that lived in the area suffered from fear and paranoia. I'd like to point out that, unlike fear, paranoia is a state of fear in which you believe you will be harmed despite there being absolutely no evidence. I'd like to point out that fire, despite its helpful attributes, has a penchant for not only death and destruction, but absolute annihilation. Fire elementals are famously dangerous and should rightly be feared and respected. Please remain at a distance from campfires, bonfires, fireplaces, ovens, and furnaces. Please ensure torches are held at the unlit end and cigars are extinguished before bedtime. To ensure safe extinguishing of candle flame, lick your fingers before attempting to pinch the wick. If you believe your neighbor is summoning a fire elemental, please contact your local guardsman or resident shaman.

So this chain offers x50 Burning Blossom per each step of the chain THE FIRST TIME for about 200 total. Subsequent completion on alts only gives x15 Burning Blossom per step of the quest chain, for a total of 60.
