While most objectives of this Weekly are very clear, during PTR testing, the dance part was not. It was showing Undermine's Central Station, but nothing happened there when I was using the /dance emote.Eligible Goblins are now highlighted when you're on this Weekly, so just dance nearby and wait, no need to target them. Like others mentioned, the Lobby of The Incontinental Hotel works well and they now give credit almost immediately.
Instead, I had to go to find eligible locations in the zone, and start dancing near Undermine Denizens, Undermine Residents, Detitute Residents, etc. and just wait until some of them joined and danced as well. I only got credit when one of them was tired of dancing (took them approx. 1 minute) and left the place.

/way #2346 32.0 72.0 Dance LocationDiscarded Cans are tiny interactable cans on the ground everywhere in the zone.

Just need to dance in lobby of the Incontinental Hotel and a few NPCs will join.

Dance is the hardest part of this. Go to the Uncontinetal Hotel and stand on top of the stairs (if yougo to map and scroll in close,, it's right above the O and N in continental. when somebody walks by... /dance

Hold a drift - Hold your jump button and turn while riding your G-99 Breakneck. It doesn't have to be all in one drift.

Kick a discarded can - Go to the party at /way 70.25, 24.94. Small green cans liter the ground. They are quite plentiful, they show up in other locations in the zone also, and show up on the minimap. They can be kicked while mounted but you still need to click them.

Dance with denizens of Undermine - Go to the main lobby in the Incontinental Hotel and /dance. I did it in a doorway and as the goblins moved in and out of the building they'll dance with you if you are dancing. Just give it a minute and you will get credit.

/tickle Pak Topskimmer - Go to the main lobby in the Incontinental Hotel and /tickle the goblin behind the desk. /way 43.52, 51.72

Get kicked out of the Gallagio - Go to /way 68.02, 44.62 and try to enter. The guards there will toss you out.

EDIT: Blizz kindly made the cans sparkly and appear on your minimap. They also highlighted the goblins that will dance with you. This makes this quest less cryptic and easier to complete.

Another Edit 4/17/2025: This week the citizens in the hotel seemed very reluctant to dance with me. I had some alts dance for well over two minutes with no love from any goblins. I left and found some in the streets that were much more willing to dance. Seems prudent to /dance with the ones you come across while doing world quests and such.

Don't be an idiot like me and Boost yourself through the doors on your Breakneck when getting the objective for "Get kicked out of The Gallagio". It somehow ended up bugging my character so that I couldn't move. Fortunately a friendly dracthyr happened to be nearby and was able to rescue my character so I didn't have to HS out of there.

Seems completely broken today. Can't get credit for dancing at all. I've done this quest on 6 other characters this week, dancing at the inn completed it in 5 minutes at most each time. Been dancing in various spots for like 45mins, haven't gotten a single credit.

Managed to get the denizens to dance with me by going to the Incontinental Hotel, moving to the main entrance and /dance without targeting. There's a small train of denizens that navigate in and out of that doorway and eventually they will run up to dance with you. Just /dance and wait patiently.

Tried reloading UI. Tried relogging. Tried fully logging out within the client and logging back in. Tried restarting the client. Tried rebooting my PC. Tried logging in to other characters and then going back. Tried logging into characters on different realms and then going back. Tried doing weekly quests in Khaz Algar first. Tried doing the Undermine Explorer quest first. Tried /dance and then leaving for fifteen minutes to go do dishes. Tried going around town to find goblins that weren't "used" as much in case there was a hidden timer or some other nonsense. And these goblins just wouldn't dance with me.

Finally tried abandoning and re-acquiring the quest, and it worked pretty much immediately...on one of those alts. Not on the others. Nothing works for certain.

This garbage would be much less annoying if it was consistent, but the quest worked fine for my first four characters, and then on my fifth character I got one to dance with me before I stopped attracting partners, and then nothing for the next two, and then only one on the character after that before I tried dropping and reacquiring the quest. And then when that worked it didn't work on the others. Maddening.

EDIT: Logged in the next day and it works immediately. I had logged out on one of my alts in the Incontinental, so I just hopped on them, /danced, and within ten seconds had three dancers. Worked on the others that were having problems, too, and the rest of the alts I was going to take through it this week. But I'm sure that someone else is having problems and they weren't magically resolved when they checked today.

most bugged quest currently they can't even get /dance to work, what hope do we have of developers giving us good content?

As of April 16, 2025, the dancing portion of this quest seems to be completely bugged/random. None of the older fixes work. I've reblogged and restarted my computer a few times. Dancing in the hotel or anywhere else in the zone doesn't give you the completion credit either. Seems like an abandon quest route till the issue is fixed, sadly.

So, I was having the same issue (Argent Dawn EU) with /dance with denizens of Undermine that I wasn't getting credit for some reason, and I tried couple of things that eventually gave me the credit:

I joined a group to complete The Main Event, which took me to the group leader's server - I out of curiosity before leaving the group tested if I did /dance there by the fountain at 45.3, 47.7 at The Incontinental Hotel in Undermine, and I got credit for 1, and then the NPCs didn't react again.
I joined on other WQ Boss group to test this again, which also took me to this other group leader's server, and did it at the same spot, and once again I got credit only for 1 before no reaction from NPCs again.
I figured that it probably has something to do with phasing, so I went to turn on Warmode while not in a group in Dornogal and went back to Undermine, and I did /dance right away at the teleporter in Undermine, and I got credit for 1.

It was weird work around and it doesn't seem to matter with the location where in Undermine - as long as there are the correct NPCs around needed for the quest.

Difficulty of getting a Denizen to /dance with you seems to be competition. I'm guessing that an NPC that has danced with someone has a long, long cooldown before they'll do it for another player. Very noticeable on a busy server on a busy day; I've tried for almost half hour on a Saturday afternoon, all over Undermine, and had zero luck. Soon as I hop to a lower-pop server though, no problem at all.

If you're here because the /dance didn't work, there are 3 possible solutions:

Log out or reopen the game!
Change the location where you're dancing to another part of the city.
This one worked best for me: Join the queue for The Godfather and try again after changing the phase!

Such a silly bug. I turned Warmode On, and got 2/3 right away outside the portal thingy in Undermine. I went to the hotel, and got the 3/3.

The dance one is very buggy, so you can try on War Mode On. It seems to work everytime they didn't react with WM Off

War Mode instantly fixed this for me.

As another comment said, most likely this has to do with traffic, hence War Mode working, since nobody PVPs in this game and all.

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but after being frustrated with not having the /dance emote work in the Continental, even after resetting the UI, disabling add-ons, re-logging and restarting the computer, I found a solution that has consistently worked for me:

Going into War Mode. It puts you in a different instance of Undermine and, at least for me, it was one where /dance worked as intended. Leaving War Mode put me back into the bugged instance until I went back to Dornogal and turned it back on. Then I was able to do my little dance party with no issues.
