My progress bar got stuck at 89%. Didn't progress with killing the creatures or using the item. I did a /reload and the progress bar updated with the creatures I had already killed when "stuck" and then continued to progress.

Don't use the Amarakk's Influence item, you don't get quest credit.

1. Use the item on a quest mob. The mob will burst and disappear, leaving behind little droplets on the ground.
2. Walk around where the mob disappeared, stepping on droplets it left behind.
3. Note quest progress. (yay!)

This quest is a complete mess.

Sometimes killing the enemies doesen't add %, sometimes using the item doesen't add %. Sometimes you suddenly get a lot more % at once.

You just have to rotate between the ways of doing this quest and hope the game decides to register what you're doing enough to finish quickly.

The quest item doesn't work on the elite Coalesced Spirit mobs in the area.

Why does the quest item have such a long CD? The mobs come in packs and I have to stand still, get bashed until its off CD again.

Description

Within every creature that roams the Rift of Aln thrums a gathering of the foundation of the goddess's influence. This Alndust yearns to merge with others of its ilk. Part of my duties as the Shul'ka is to make sure to keep the number of large manifestations low so they do not overwhelm the Den. It is easiest to do that while they are small. Take this spear. You may use it to shatter the smaller creatures down to... trivial sizes.
