Call me paranoid, you'd be correct, but I have been chased out of enough towns that I have a system.
I establish a safehouse. Somewhere easily defensible, with enough materials that I can finish any delicate tasks and prepare for departure. That is the situation we find ourselves in-- we will retreat to the top floor of the inn and assess our options from there.
I had shared the location with Caliea, when she was still studying with me... hopefully it serves us better than it did her.
