I had to laugh when I realized I was doing a quest that filled my bags with literal garbage. At least we get rid of it right away.

Turn-in is in the basement in the shop (separate entrance than the 3 floors above that look like an apartment).

Objective: Collect 12 pieces of litter and let G.O.L.E.M. incinerate it. Fight for the garbage…as needed.

This isn't a Legion or BfA incinerator that’s fixed in place and transforms inputs. G.O.L.E.M. is a mechanical that follows you around the quest area. It will consume any combination of 12 pieces of litter collected during the quest: Last Week's Undermine Inquirer, Dented Can of Kaja'Cola and Banana Peel.

And this isn't Blingatron Reaves or junk vendor Jeeves — mechanicals crafted by engineers. This goblin mechanical has no options or controls. There’s no special action button. Like Lanzen posts, just click on litter icons in your bags.

Click a piece of litter and your character tosses a brown rectangle to G.O.L.E.M. G.O.L.E.M spins happily and fire spouts from its head.

What's G.O.L.E.M, Jr.?

It's a toy that's a reward from the quest Showdown in the Attic. That’s the last quest in the storyline The G.O.L.E.M. of Progress. The toy lets you take on the appearance of a mini G.O.L.E.M. This is a disguise, not a vehicle. You have full use of your abilities and there's no vehicle control panel.

Just an fyi as this happened to me, stop moving to throw the trash into the golem. If you're moving, he bugs out and doesn't do the incinerate animation and the trash won't count for your quest credit. Wasted 6 before I realized.

Description

My old man's got all these crazy ideas about helping the world... I dunno. It's all a bit over my head, but I guess that's why I was never the inventor he wanted me to be. Still, I've got some thoughts on how to solve problems around here. Like those dang rodents getting litter all over the streets! It might not revitalize the spirit of the community or whatever, but I bet people would be happier if we cleaned up the streets.
