Nola's Last Wish, is a tribute to Maryann Strossner who passed away in 2023 and was the voice actor of Scrollsage Nola.
You may remember her mainly from the World Quest mini games Beachhead where the baby Tortollans had to "make it to the water".

1. Speak with Lashk who is standing just right of the Story Stage next to the meat vendor.

2. Go to Vol'Dun and the Tortaka Refuge in the North East and speak to Elder Kuppaka (optional) at /way #864 61.61 20.60 Elder Kuppaka
He will tell you to go and see a tribesman in the south East who may know more.
For Alliance Characters who don't have access to this zone you can hop a ship from Echo Isle in Durotar (Area will be hostile). The ship arrives near Mith'aka

3. Head a short way to the South East to a small shack at /way #864 64.07 26.06 Storage Box
Search the Box to loot Nola's Last Wish
Your quest Journal will automatically update you with the directions 132 West, 429 South which can be seen on two of the notice boards next to the box.

4. Your Tricked-Out Thinking Cap will take you back down to Zuldazar at /way #862 24.43 44.47 Nola
Enter the water and you will find a group of Tortollans are having a small firework party.

5. Use Nola's Last Wish and speak with the spirit of Nola, she made it to the water :)

6. Return to Lashk at the Cavers of Time to complete the quest

Start the quest Nola's Last Wish at Alyx, telling you that Lashk is upset at something, go find him near the Story Time stage./way #71 63.90 52.52 Lashk
Travel to the Tortaka Refuge on northern part of Vol'dun, outside the refuge to the southeast your Idol will find Nola's Last Wish along some cryptic numbers./way #864 64.02 26.07 Nola's Last Wish
Using the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap and those numbers they will lead you to -132 -429 from that position, which is located off the western coast of Zuldazar where a Tortollan wedding is taking place./way #862 24.42 44.43 Zuldazar underwater wedding
Use Nola's Last Wish on the wedding and Nola's spirit will appear, talk to her and tell her Lashk sent you. She is delightful and tells you to tell Lashk that she made it to the water. Return to Lashk to turn-in the quest./way #71 63.90 52.52 Lashk

This a touching sendoff for her.

how do i get to volduun or zuldazar or zandalar on a newer alliance character that never played bfa content....? do i have to do the intro quests or something...? kind of annoying if so.

edit. i will update this comment with my efforts. i accepted a quest from hero's herald (next to the hero's call board in stormwind) quest Battle for Azeroth: Tides of War
go into sw keep, first room on the left. wait for rp etc.
go meet jaina on the docks and skip the rp if inclined and able (second dialogue option).
accept get your bearings quest once you appear in boralus.
go through the motions. wait for rp at flight master. turn in quest.
accept new quest the old knight. go to the dockmasters office area (its downstairs).
talk to cyrus. wait for rp.
shake his hand again because the rp didnt work the first time so you didnt get quest credit.
talk to taelia, not cyrus, pick up sanctum of the sages. go upstairs and outside. turn left. find the portal room. talk to the npc 7th legion magus. you might need to wait a moment for it to show up.
go back to taelia downstairs in the office. turn in quest.
talk to cyrus. accept and complete ferry pass quest. (unsure if required but i think it is, and its easy, so just do it).
talk to taelia again who now offers a nation divided quest. watch or skip cinematic.
click map on the wall.
pick a zone. i suggest tiragarde sound. turn in both quests to taelia.
i think at this point you can leave and proceed to the ship outside to travel to zandalar zones.
talk to halford wyrmbane. accept the zandalar campaign. click map. choose any zone as once you are there, you should be able to fly to the others without issue.
i chose volduun.
complete the auto accepted foothold quest.
talk to halford again. complete quest. accept new quest. mine was called voyage to the west but it depends what zone you chose.
walk up the stairs behind him. talk to grand admiral jes tereth. choose set sail.
complete the quest after the load screen. accept the next quest (mine was called ooh-rah) but you DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE IT. i clicked the side of the ship to ferry to the coast. then i flew straight to the last wish location and was able to loot it and then proceed.

If Step 3. Loot Nola's Wish isn't working for you, like it just sparkles and there's nothing to loot, log out and back in again and it should be lootable.

BTW if someone is confused as I was, the journal you get at the start of the quest, updates itself and there it says that 429 is south and 132 is west

To get to Zandalar for Alliance, you can catch the ship at the echo islands outside of durotar at /way 71.76 38.32

The npcs on the ship are friendly/neutral.

For those who haven't completed the required Battle for Azeroth campaign, to be able to take the boat from Boralus, you can take the boat from Echo Isles in Durotar to Zandalar.

I turned in this quest right as the "take a drink" reaction happened to pop up for the Story Time event at the anniversary.

I can't help interpreting that as 'Give a toast to Scrollsage Nola and Maryann Strossner'.

I highly recommend going to Scrollsage Nola's page on WoWHead and scrolling down to "Sounds" - Maryann's VO for her "Angry" lines are hysterically funny. She rambles on and on about her grandson LOL.

I ended up using the numbers to go northeast into the fatigue zone and found nothing at the enormous bone corpse at the sea floor, so I'm here finding out the answer is nowhere close to where I was.
There have been secrets in fatigue zones before so I found it believeable.

As mentioned before, MAKE SURE YOU USE THE TRICKED-OUT HAT at the location where you find the two tribesmen and Nola's Last Wish! For those who don't use coord addons, the location you want is the crescent area off the coast of Zuldazar, slightly south from middle of crescent underwater!

No spoilers edition.
Per text, it says go to Voldun, Where were the tortollans in voldun? Mostly sand, the vulpera and lots of snakes. But that one region with naga and tortollan.
Grab your idol of ohn'ara and see where it points you. There are three items there to see.
Pickup the item and take note of the other two. What item do we have for these things that works off numbers? One of the combinations will lead to a fairly obvious destination..
Use the item you collected and win.

As alliance, if you already did BfA content several years ago and forgot how to get to Zandalar, go on the ship docked in Boralus (accessible via the portal in SW) and talk to the guy manning the steering wheel on the upper deck, behind where Jaina Proudmoor is standing.

Nola was one of my favourite side-characters in BFA. I know many were annoyed with her World Quests, but I found her extremely wholesome and would go out of my way to do them. Was really sad to hear of Maryann Strossner's passing :( I'm glad that Blizzard gave her and her wonderful character this pleasant nod, and that I was able to click on Nola til she rambled her heart out one last time <3

➤ Talk to Lashk in the Anniversary area at .
➤ Teleport to Boralus.
➤ Head to the ship and talk to Grand Admiral Jes-Tereth at (at the back of the ship). Ask her to take you to Vol'dun.
➤ In Vol'dun, fly to . Make sure your Torch of Pyrreth is equipped, then loot Nola's Last Wish.
➤ Fly to the nearest flight path and head to Zuldazar.
➤ In Zuldazar, go to , dive underwater, and you will see a couple of NPCs. Then use Nola's Last Wish.
➤ Talk to the turtle ghost that appears.
➤ Return to the Caverns of Time and hand in your quest.

I am writing this to hopefully help others when trying to get to the last area. You are looking for the underwater Tortollan wedding. Easiest way to find it...

In Zuldazar you want to look for the crescent moon shaped area on the west side of the zone. In the middle of the shape will be the underwater wedding. You will see fireworks going off under the water.

When you get under the water click on Nola's Last Wish. Her spirit will appear and then you will be able to speak with her.

So annoyed I can't do this. My mage hasn't started BFA so he can't take the ship from Boralus. Went to the Echo Isles and the only ships I can find near there are two unmanned Alliance ships. There are no other ships round the Isles, just a few troll fishing boats not suitable for a long voyage

For Returning players like me and those who are Alliance who want to get to Zandalar unlocked. The Campaign for the War within starts in Stormwind from the guard /way 63 71.64 near the AH and front gates
It will take you about 30min to get far enough to get to Zandalar.

When you get to Vol'dun and goto 64, 26 - make sure you just click the box of scrolls next to the barrel of fish....
(a dummy like me didnt realize it doesnt light up or anything, you just gotta click it and it will loot)
