If you're having trouble figuring out what to do, and you use Bartender, it might not be showing you the possess bar. I was using custom conditionals and had to add
16;
to the front.

my whole conditionals code, as an example, not as a recommendation:
16;16;16;9;10;8;7;0

If you don't see anything just hit your 1, 2, or 3 button for different ranges. You should get a yellow target and then you can steer your ball into the hole.

- Insane zone lag
- The timer on the ball doesn't match up to when it actually explodes
- Horrible hit detection between the ball and the hole

I've gotten the ball into the hole a dozen times, but only 2 have counted. What a frustrating mess.

ProTip:
1. Aim your green circle a bit in front of the hole.
2. When the ball lands: HOLD DOWN RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON TO STEER THE BOMBALL to the hole!
3. Repeat 3 more times.
4. Win.

This quest is NOWHERE near as bad as people say. It took me like 2 minutes. I am not saying this just to be controversial.

You go to the ball. Click it.
You will now have 4 spells you can use. Choose one.
It will show you where the ball will land approximately (it will be in the circle but not in the very middle of it) so you can check based on the distance as you have to cast it by clicking anyway.
The circle should be before the hole but leave a small gap between the edge and the hole itself.
Strike the ball, wait for it to hit the ground then STEER IT to hit the hole.

It is super simple. Even now, with tons of people and locations being laggy it took me one try on each but last hole (took 2).
Even if the game is laggy, and your ball rolls over the hole and then explodes, it will count. Main thing is making sure it reaches the hole itself.

once you shoot the ball in the vicinity use the camera view to move it in the right direction. One of them wouldn't clear so I went and finished another and came back. Then it cleared. IDK they seem to be buggy.

This is buggy with Bartender installed, but you can still shoot with the 1, 2 and 3 buttons. Short length = 1, Med length = 2, Long length = 3. I used the mouse move buttons to get the bomb into the hole after the shot landed.

I love golfing games, and this honestly reminds me of that arcade golfing game where you spin a ball to direct the strength and direction that you hit your virtual golf ball. That said, the ball in this one doesn't actually fall where you point it, and the animation for getting a hole in one is insanely disappointing! The ball overshoots the hole then rolls back and overshoots it again and you just get a notification that you got another score.

Some advice: Use the sand pits to slow down your ball, and use button 1 or the "putter" strength for most holes.

For anyone dumb like me, the spells replace the ones in your default action bar. You don't get a special action bar like in other quests. Took me way too long to figure that out.

Cant progress more than 2/4 obj.

There should be special place in the MAW for designer of this quest.

Whenever I click the ball it adds the action bar for 1 second just for it to disapear with the ball. This has been happening since this quest came out so just missing this quest now to do. Anyone know any fix for this?

Fix: thought maybe my pet was causing an issue, so diabled "Don't forget me" add on and it worked (with the pet still summoned as I forgot to get rid of it)

I hate to be this negative, but this is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder why do I still waste my time playing this game. I'm not talking about the confusing quest design that made a lot of people (me included) have a bad time until figuring out that you need to steer the bomb after hitting it. Yes, that is a whole big deal in itself. But I'm talking about what even is this quest. After knowing how it works, it's just plain boring and pointless. There's no skill involved, you just press a button and move your mouse. Why is this a thing? Why can't we have some actually interesting quests? I mean most quests are just go around talking to npc or killing generic enemies to get stuff to deliver, sure. But even the most common MMO quest is more than whatever this is. It's just so weird that someone actually thought this would be a nice change of pace and came up with that. At least make it be somewhat interesting. The thing most people thought that quest was, you know, to actually play some golf, would be WAY more interesting than the actual intended way. But I guess that was too hard to code. So we ended up with.... this.

It sucks man. This game is already so bloated with stuff to make us spend more time to make the subscription "worth it". At least put a little bit of thought and care in the normal quests. I just hate how the artistic side of WoW is going nuts delivering such cool places and design, with such amazing music while most of the gameplay feels like the lowest effort possible.

If you're a druid, you have to be out of animal form to do this. I spent way too long in cat form clicking on boomballs with nothing happening. Lol!
