Not in the house it appears to be in ,go to the other house that goes down and has side rooms to it and ull find it on the table , the house with the cooking trainer in it .

I hate the design of these buildings, I always run into the wrong ones
It's inside the building next to the mailbox, with the giant keg on top, not the one you ran into before you googled it and came here

First Clue: On the desk in front of Findore <General Goods>.
== Stay in the same building! ==
Second Clue: Continue deeper into the same inn you're already in! It's a big book all the way deep in the basement
Third Clue: Fly out, there's a dead body on the floor, you'll get attacked by two mobs

Entrance to House for first 2 clues: 41.87, 73.86 (entrance by mailbox)

First Clue: 41.85, 73.84 (book on table)
Stay in building and go to lower right basement room

Second Clue: 41.50, 75.07 (fragment on table)
Kill 1 Ambusher
Come out of building

Fly to: 43.82, 75.96 (Arathi Soldier lying on ground)
Kill 2 Nightshade Ambushers

Fly to: 42.70, 70.96
Turn in and complete quest

Just in case someone needs this, I lost the quest giver (and he didn't show up on the map as having a quest after Found Around and Unbound (the breadcrumb to The Pillage of Freywold Village). Peacekeeper Leif is located at 42.67, 70.96.

don't be a derp like me, leaving the first clue and going to the next building to the right. i ran around for 5 minutes searching, did /reloadui, all that.

nope, just stay in the same building as the first clue, but run deeper into the building and there you'll find the quest item.

guys, don't ever get middle aged like me ;)

I love that when the Lamplighter says "got it?" at the end, the Earthen replies "I have it". Blizzard humour :P

The Pillage of Freywold Village

Search for clues as to where the Arathi went.

Description

The Arathi shipwright was here but has moved on with most of her entourage. She had left a few Arathi behind but... Soon after the shipwright left, earthen started disappearing. The villagers suspected the Arathi but had no proof. Then one day, the remaining Arathi left town in the middle of the night. The locals said the Arathi stayed at the inn. Can you look there for any clues as to where the Arathi are now? Given the villagers' hostility, the Lamplighter and I shall remain here for the moment.
