This quest you should deffinately do alone the drop rate is so low that you will never complete it in a good ammount of time Level 46 is good for this as long as you don't have cloth armor

If for some reason you would be grinding on the Water Elementals or Sea Elementals, you might as well repeat this though. The extra couple of experience and the rep you get from it aren't worth it alone though. I just happen to be grinding on them for now.

Repeatable. I don't think it's worth it---I only got one core every 3-6 kills, and the giants kept getting in my way. Even with a druid's prowl. I'd suggest doing it the first time, for Zorbin's Water Resistant Hat, but not after that. Hey. . . that rhymed. . . cool!

The follow up of the quest isn't at all worth. Only good if you are farming XP. The droprate is quite low as well. I got one core from 5 kills.

Note that, in case you decide to follow the quest it is better to kill water elementals rather than water sprays. they have better chance to drop the quest items and they dont cast spells. Water Sprays spam frostbolt.

Why this is a level 55 quest is beyond me. The highest Water Elemental I saw was level 49, and I was soloing them without too much trouble at 46 on my Ret Paladin.

this doesn't reduce your reputation with Bloodsail Buccaneers, so this and http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7725 are - afaik - the only ways to get your reputation up with Booty Bay, and still stay Revered with the Bloodsail Buccaneers.

This NPC follow-ups gives rep with Steamwheedle Cartell without decreasing Bloodsail's rep.

All that's left at lvl 80 is the 21 Silver reward.

No Steamwheedle reputation points anymore and it gives no quest achievement count also.

If you are farming Steamwheedle Rep in DM North, this is a perfect break, when you get locked out of DM due to too many resets.

The 30 minutes lockout is exactly the time it takes to:
- Ride back to Camp Mojache (horde) and sell your loot from DM
- Ride to Zorbin Fandazzle west coast of Faralas
- Get both Again with the Zapped Giants and this quest
- Kill giants/Elementals
- Turn in both quests and redo both of them
- Turn in both quests again and ride back to DM North

While 4 quests of 25 rep (for each of the 4 Steamwheedle factions) isn't much, it still beats standing outside DM for 30 minutes.. :)

As of the Shattering I got 385 rep for each city in the Cartel (not cartel rep itself) for this quest, however there was no follow up available and the quest had a regular marker, so i'm not sure if its still repeatable or daily. Hopefully since we no longer have Knot..

Refuel for the Zapping

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Collect 6 Water Elemental Cores from the Sea Elementals and Sea Sprays along the Forgotten Coast of Feralas, and bring them back to Zorbin Fandazzle who is near the dock there.

More work, you say? Did my heroic mission of collecting bits of goo found inside elemental beings not slake your thirst for adventure? Perhaps more of the same will vainly try to fill the bottomless well of questing you possess...

OK, melodrama aside, I do need more water elemental cores. I'm trying desperately to set up shop here, so the rewards won't be as great... but I promise you I'll tell everyone in earshot how you've helped me. Trust me on this - I know people in the Cartel!
