Sturdy Expedition Shovel is an item made by Blacksmiths and sold on the AH. Don't do the same mistake I did, you do NOT want the shovels from Dragonscale Expedition which are called Small Expedition Shovel

edit: Seems that you need 10 STACKS of the shovels in your inventory. Not a single shovel with 20 uses.
Hope that helps anyone like me in the future. :P

Quest is currently bugged. I have 21 Sturdy Expedition Shovel in my bags. I pick up the quest and it says 1/10.
I then drop the quest and pick it up again, still says 1/10.

Not worth doing.
You only get Barter Brick x5 for doing it.
You need to make or buy off the Auction House Sturdy Expedition Shovel x 10.
They do not stack in your bags, each one takes up a bag slot. so you will need to clear 10 bag slots just for this quest.
And that is not factoring in that you can't just buy 10, you have to buy them 1 at a time 10 times, or that they are about 140g-420g on my group.

Quest accepts shovels with less than 20 charges, so in case you just want to do this with one character that needs the bricks/boulders, you can turn in all the used up ones from your alts and give them fresh ones.

poor indie company blizz ,need 10 stacks of 20 to equal 10 shovels.
or a stack of 20 fish to turn in to get credit for 10

ps. the quest turn in takes all the 10 stacks not just 10 shovels so 200 shovels for 10.....................

Sturdy Expedition Shovels can be ordered via work orders. On our server you can currently save anywhere from about 500-3000g by putting in 10 work orders for shovels. Ore is 49s, and if you have Black Prince rep, you can get the vendor mats for 24g from the BS vendor. So, 30g in mats and decent comission of 25-50g will get some shovels for 55g-100g ea. instead of 180g-400g on the AH.

Much cheaper to buy the mats and have these made through the Artisan's Consortium. Also, you do not have to turn in shovels with all 20 charges. I used all 10 shovels down to only 1 charge left and then turned in the quest and worked just fine.
