I just completed the questline. Absolutely loved it and a great finish to Tarecgosa's story.

The mount will not be usable and you won't find it when you first get it. Just log off and back on and it will be in your mount log. Enjoy!

EDIT: The mount is only usable by the character with the legendary staff and that has completed the questline. So, have Dragonwrath and then do this questline. Hope that helps.

I !@#$ed up and did the whole new questline on my main druid while i had staff on mage >.<
I thought the quest was available on any caster since the Appearance of the legendary is
now gotta do it again on mage to unlock the mount rip

Sadly, it would appear this quest is currently locked to those toons that have in fact collected the original staff.

After completing the questline on my priest, the Tarecgosa's Visage mount did appear in my mount collection and was usable. (it appears IDENTICAL to the original model)

None of my other toons are able to activate the mount. I flew on up with my demonhunter (of which there was obviously never a version of this staff) and my shaman, who would have been eligible to create the staff but had not.

In both instances, the gravesite is present, but Kalecgos is not visible. (not even with spectral sight)

However, given that the mount model does appear identical, anybody who (like me) would carry the staff around to occasionally get your Visage on, can now reclaim the inventory slot.

The original staff was NOT removed from inventory for me, but for the feels I did the entire quest chain with the staff equipped. I doubt that made a difference.

This is sadly, not account wide. Each character with the staff will have to complete the quest to get the visage.

To unlock the Quest Rhapsody in Blue you need to start with the following quests from Kalecgos in Azure Archives (The Azure Span).

Pick up Tarecgosa's Rest and talk to Kalecgos right next to you.
Afterwards he will send you away with Love Unending and Forget Her Not.

After fullfilling those two quests you want to end them at Kalecgos in the Veiled Ossuary (Thaldraszus).
Doing so he will reward you with the Quest Rhapsody in Blue.

Has anyone experienced a case where you completed the quest, learned the mount but even after relogging and several days the mount is not in their collections? I cannot find or use the mount at all.

i did this all weridly. I did the new blue dragon flight without knowing i needed to have done the staff stuff first.
but i can confirm that once you got and do all the staff quests and get the staff Kal will have the quest for you at the Azure Span /way 39.44 63.02 even if you did the whole new blue dragonflight quest line before getting the staff, once you have it the quest will be waiting.

Ok i dont get it. i finished Azure span Qline +the sojourne. More or less finished all Qs possible. But non of the Qs pops up on my Priest, can any1 help me how to make the 2 Qs pop?

This is the 4th in the quest chain of Tarecgosa's Rest. You can only get this and the subsequent quests, if you've previously obtained Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest which is class restricted. So if you're not a Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Druid, or Evoker and meet the prereqs (other quests too but more info on comments of the first quest linked here) you will never see this and subsequent quests.

I've done every quest in DF, or so I thought. I remember running the blue dragon flight quest line. I went all over the world doing stuff, i remember the ostiary quest line. But when I submit the command line to see if this quest was finished, I get a false response.

I've tried looking through all the questlines in BTWquests and I've finished them all. However, it has no entry for Rhapsody in Blue.

How do I backtrack to find the quest I missed? What are the quests prior to this quest that I must complete? I wish this were easier to find because this sort of thing bites me every once in a while and it is so frustrating. Would it be so hard to provide a list of quests in order for achievements somewhere? Blizzard? Any help anyone could give me would be very much appreciated.
