Strategy Warning: melee beware, the falling bombs phase of this miniboss stuns.

My guildie and I were playing through the Zereth Mortis story advances last night and this quest boss is so annoying it's basically a mini test of phased boss behavior.

Anduin's last manifestation (shard 4 of the infusing the helm) the boss is a tall smoke-blob guy (big whoop, except his hitbox center is a slightly bigger circle) who alternates between doing small damage, or spewing a row of falling-bomb white/black/grey things.

My paladin (leveling Holy, I'm crazy) spewed only instant attacks in favor of mobility and then fled in terror from the whitesmoke bombing run. I survived it.

Her warrior (in your FACE badguy!) got pasted several times before we
and by "we" I mean I suggested and she tried to implement, cuz you're solo on this, groups phase from each other while entering the cavern

...succeeded at getting it down with fairly few hp % remaining.
She was also using a flask and enjoying the stamina boost from Protofruit Flesh.

So
melee beware.

The "bombing run" visually resembles the falling stygia during soul-well effects in the Maw, except it's chasing you.

The stun while not long on its own leaves you to get pummeled pretty good.

1 The Broken Crown	Go to cave 33 69 and speak with Anduin Wrynn cinematic will start.
2 Our Last Option	Conversation will start
3 Hello, Darkness	Press on Shard of Domination. After that use Domination ( spell on extra bar ) on Darion Mograine. He will attack you take his HP to 70%.
4a Elder Eru	Go to Elder Eru 56 83
4b Testing One Two	Use Domination on: 3 Cervid Grazer, 3 Native Poultrid 45 71 and 2 Outmoded Servitor 57 83.
6 Cryptic Catalogue	Press on: Unknown Phrase 57 84, Unknown Phrase 58 84 and Unknown Phrase 58 81 then go inside cave 59 81
7 The Not-Scientific Method	First press on Lexicon Librarian then use on him Domination and slay him at end.
8 Two Paths to Tread	Go back to The Primus in cave 33 68.
9 One Half of the Equation	Go to see Highlord Bolvar Fordragon 57 31
10 Oppress and Destroy	Kill mobs to get to 100%. You can use Domination to kill mobs faster.
11 Aggressive Excavation	"Go to 3 points: - Inside bulding 59 31 Inscrutable Phrase - Inside bulding 62 22 Inscrutable Phrase but first press on Blocked Door then kill Agitated Geomental to get inside. - Inside bulding 65 25 Inscrutable Phrase"
12 Where the Memory Resides	Go to Bastion and speak with Highlord Bolvar Fordragon 55 86 cave enter
13 What We Wish to Forget	First press on Shard of Domination in the middle of the room and kill monsters. Press on 2nd Shard of Domination and kill mobs.
14 What Makes Us Strong	Press on Shard of Domination and kill waves of mobs xD then speak with Sylvanas Windrunner Cinematic will start
15 What We Overcome	Press on Shard of Domination and kill Mawbound Monstrosity.
16 Forge of Domination	Travel to The Runecarver's Oubliette in Torghast and speak with The Primus.
17 The Crown of Wills	Place all shards one by one. Cinematic will start after press on Crown of Wills you will get Tome of the Eternal.

If you die, in order to get to your corpse, you need to go back to the entrance to the Chamber of First Reflection at /way 55.83 86.44 .

Can't solo as a mage, and can't get sync to work. Not sure what to do about it.

This quest seems to be way overpowered for the character level. Got through it on a mage, having extraordinary issues with a Rogue. Any help?

Description

I understand now. All of us that were touched by Domination were able to tap into something. Whether nobility or vengeance, it gave the strength to resist. With all that I have faced, I have to remember that I am still here. And if there are those willing to stand with Sylvanas, I have to believe they will stand with me as well. I'm ready to try again. This time, I will overcome whatever I face.
