How to do Spill the Tea:

find tubbins and gubbins /way 36,6, 37,3
use "Experimental Tea"
interact with the table to Poured Tea
use "Experimental Tea" on 5x Shardhide mobs
return the quest

Rewards: Redeemed Inquisitor's Mantle.

Actually this quest sounds bugged on PTR, just /logout if you have problems.

Every time Blizz come up with the worst quest ever, they treat that as a challenge.

No actual instructions (pour tea on big bears and then see what happens next)
Not enough mobs. By a factor of about 10. You will queue for a chance at one
Only one of three types of mob in the area is eligible, so constantly fending off useless adds
Chance of spawning three Dominators, so if you are poorly geared you are likely to die.
Plus the always annoying 'chase a mob to click on it' mechanic

Suffice to say another one I shall pass on in future

It's not immediately apparent how to "Test the Tea" for Spill the Tea

Tubbins and Gubbins are here:

/way 36.59 37.48 Tubbins and Gubbins

Click the teapot to "Pour it", and then use the Experimental Tea on highlighted Shardhides to Spill the Tea

Kill the Shardhides if they're targetable, otherwise click on them instead. Either will give you one "Test the tea" credit.

Wow, every week there is a new quest that is a pain in the ass, and I bet you we will get this a couple days in a row. The number of mobs that count for the quest is ridiculously low and the respawn rate is abysmall.

Every week Blizzard comes out with a quest that makes you hate other players in your faction, what a great MM experience.

Not much for instructions with this quest, but here is how you do it:

Go to 36.59, 37.48 and click on the Experimental Tea

use Spill the Tea on the highlighted Shardhides nearby. Then kill them.

If someone else has already used the tea on a shardhide, you can still kill it for credit. Seems to be a faction mob tag so anyone around of the same faction can also get credit if they hit the shardhide after its been "tea'd".

You have these quests where something interesting is suppose to happen, but Blizz just has to add stuff to make it a pain (competing with other players, finding just the right mob, etc.) so you end up just clicking until you get credit and anything interesting about it get lost.

Between faction tagging and sh*tty respawn timers, this is the kind of quest that makes me question whether the devs actually play the game they make....

For those struggling with loooong respawn times, the bigger bears seem to share respawns with the small bears (shardhide scrapper).

Killing a couple of these seems to make the big bears spawn quicker. Don't just wait around like a everyone else does :)

More garbage by our overpaid friends at Blizzard.

The instructions on here are close but incomplete. So at the risk of repeating...

- Find Tubbins, et all and click on the table in front of them.
- There are zero instructions and the tea only works on highlighted shardhides (and not even all of them). There will be very few of them with a low spawn rate (because testing is hard?) They will show up on your mini map.
- You toss the tea on them, if it works the shardhide will shrink and then you have to click on them to capture them to get credit (no you don't kill them). If it doesn't work and they get the buff, then you kill them to get credit.

And just in case you had any delusions that Blizzard has a clue, they made it so anyone can click on them. So the wonderful ppl who play this game will be stealing them from you...

There is no upside for Blizzard in fixing this quest. One, it wastes a lovely amount of our time. While we are being screwed over by the low spawn rate, we aren't considering ourselves "done" and cancelling our subscriptions. Two, faction tagging keeps the outdated, 27-year old Orcs vs. Humans race war alive. In an RTS, I get it. In an MMO RPG, this is just stale and same old, same old.

If you're not getting the credit for the spilling tea/killing/clicking on mobs, finish any other quests you have, abandon, and retake just the spil the tea one. It sorted the bug for me.

Description

It seems Tubbins and Gubbins have gone off somewhere. I do worry about the two of them. Be a dear and check on them. One never knows what shenanigans they might be up to. I last saw them speaking with one of the faeries from Ardenweald. They were discussing the fine art of tea making.
