Makes no sense. Devos was serving the Jailer, Arthas was somehow serving the Jailer. None of this makes sense, I hope it gets explained later.

Also, don't like how important Azeroth is becoming to the Shadowlands. At the beginning it was nothing, as it should have been, now it seems like this is an Azeroth centric story.

I like the idea of this, but the story is just told badly. Sorry, I don't think you change everything that's been happening for eons (and I certainly don't think they would be open to this) because some guy had a wound caused by a sword with runes from the Maw that you should have found out right away. I don't know why his losing memories much later stops you from knowing this.

Edit: Funny how this was all right (and shown later to be true) yet got downvoted. Says a lot...

Run to the flight pad at 41.64,23.38 (the end of the road in Citadel of Loyalty) and click the flight pad on the ground. You'll get flow over to the Eonian Archives and from here you run to the back of the main structure. There's another flight pad at 39.42,18.64 that will port you up to the level you need to be on to get to the mirror referenced in the quest. The mirror isn't much of a mirror. It looks like a big purple stained glass about 2 stories tall. You click on it to start the cinematic which is one of the very best in the game.

And you can come back and click this mirror anytime to watch it over again if you want. It's one of my favorite sequences in the game.

If you don't have the map app, you could go the wrong way and end up in the Citadel - you do NOT want to go there. You need to get to the Path of Wisdom, east of the Terrace of Collection and at the edge just SE of the quest marker. There's a Disciple of Wisdom flying there and two acolytes behind him - between them is the transport pad that will send you to the floating island behind, where a statue is. You need to go behind the statue and get on another pad - this one takes you to the archives.

As mentioned by Bethgael on this page, the transport pad seems to be missing while the world quest "Flight School: Up and Away!" is active. (Thank you for this information!)

It seems that I can not turn in this quest. So I was looking for the comment that would tell me how to turn this quest in. I have already abandoned the quest and retook it. Then complete it, but I cannot turn it in.

Anyone run into an issue where they cannot turn this one in? I watched the memory in the soul mirror, and I see Thenios sitting on the ground, but I cannot turn it in. Looking high and low at where the ? is on my minimap, there is no NPC there to turn the quest in.

Edit: I have also tried watching the full cinematic and dropping the quest, still no luck.

Has anyone been able to find a solution for this issue? I have also have the quest Soul Led Astray and have been unable to turn it in. I made it to the path of wisdom and at the transport pad located at 41, 23 there is also the nearby world quest A Crisis of Memory up. I go over to The Eonian Archives and take the anima gateway on the opposite end to get to the top and lazy Thenios is still just sitting there. I think I'm going to open up a ticket and see if i can get a solution from a GM to correct the problem. I figured I'd post here in case anyone else has gotten a solution as well as to update this post when I get it corrected.

I submitted a screenshot of the response given when trying to submit a ticket for being unable to turn in this quest after having finished the Kyrian campaign; updated 3 weeks ago as of 5/26/2021.

Common problems
- Thenios is phased out when I try to turn in Soul Led Astray
- I abandoned Soul Led Astray and can't pick it back uo

If you complete the Kyrian campaign, Thenios' phasing will change. This will prevent you from being able to pick up or turn in Soul Led Astray.

We have received multiple reports of this issue and can confirm it is not working as intended. At this time, we do not have any workarounds that can be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience while our developers work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

Quest is fixed for me now since the 9.1 Patch. I was able to hand the quest into Thenios yay

If you don't have your flying yet: To get there take the flight path to Terrace of the Collectors. Go down the stairs, cross the bridge, go a ways along the path and you will find a flying ascendant and two guards (Path of Wisdom). Behind them is a transport pad. It takes you over to the Eonian Archives. Go up the stairs right or left, of the the big statue. There will be another transport pad that takes you to the top. Go straight in and click on one of those angels facing the pillar, it starts the Cinematic. When done Thenios is on your left, hand in

During this quest you can see the famous "Shadowlands Afterlives: Bastion" cinematic about Uther: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNSnOAumlB8.

However, this quest has quite a lot of phasing bugs (meaning you can't complete it if you haven't done something in the zone). For me it was incompletable until I was finished with 9.1 questline. Then it all worked fine.

If the world quest "Flight School: Up and Away!" is up and the transport pad isn't there, you can just run off the edge at 41.61, 23.20 and as part of the world quest it will give you a pair of wings and put you in the jump puzzle/parkour to get to the top. It automatically jumps you, you just need to steer to the correct flowers to get to the top. If you fall, one of the guards should fly you back to the start to try again.
