Take the portal near the quest marker to get to the other side. The Green Slimes will be there. I could not find the Compressed Plague, though.

To access this World Quest you need Anima Conductor Tier 2 Streaming Threads and Channel Anima to House of Plagues.

When you fly to the flightmaster the portal is located on the left side next to a circular platform over the slime lake. There is a npc next to it named "Pandemis".

The compressed slime spawns randomly and stands still inside the designated quest zone. He will light up as a yellow dot on your minimap.

Just found a Compressed Plague. It spawns just north of the 1st boss in Plaguefall. Just hand around the pool and watch the minimap. It will show up as a golden dot

Found the Compressed Plague at 71.2, 69.4, right before where the 2nd Plaguefall boss would be.

Make sure you speak to the npc by the teleporter and pick up the Personal Air Filtration buff before heading to the quest area.

Otherwise you will get effected by Caustic Fog which makes fighting the slimes nearly impossible. It took me a while to figure out why I could'nt heal myself or why I was taking such massive ammounts of damage. It caps at 9 stacks increasing nature damage taken and healing done reduced by 90%.

I found the Compressed Plague en route to the 3rd boss , where the green tentacles spawn and the speedy gassy bois .. he was just chilling in the middle. A lot of folks recommend the first boss area as well, though was of no use to me.

This quest will either be very fast, or very long depending on your luck. The compressed slime has several possible spawn spots and you better hope its the closest one. If not, you are gonna have to delve deep and hunt him down! This quest can take anywhere from a few mins to nearly half an hour if you have to fight your way right to the back.

This quest is not very user-friendly.

Something that should have taken 10 or 12 minutes had me stumbling around the outside of the marked area and swimming in highly toxic bullcrap because it's not made clear in the least that there is teleportation involved nor needing a gas mask.

Also, as soon as I walked into the auto-accept area, the quest marker jumped across the aforementioned lake of death giving no indication of how to get there.

for people who cant get the transporter pad to work - angle your camera straight down above you, and there are a few pixels of cog wheel that you can click to activate the orb. thats my workaround anyway. let me know. good luck.

A question, is there an alternate route to this area if dead? Cus I have not found one. Died to the slimes aoe. Switched to tank mode afterwards but for squishy classes that could be a pain and had to wait 10 min for res sickness cus could not use teleporter as dead nor spirit fly on mount as some past location offered.

Transport Pad to get over to quest area is at 59.8, 71.2.

You may need to stand close to the orb and point your camera down to make it clickable.

Kill and loot things until 100% and you are done.

Aptly named quest. They make it really hard to find a/the Compressed Plague. It's not fun running all over the House of Plagues, mostly in slime. Consider the ease of Bastion's Grateful Offering WQ....

After taking the TP you will come to a small flat area connected to a circular pathway with mobs. NP. At the top of this path is a large oval shaped flat area bounded by a slime moat. There are normally 2 slime giants in there. NP. There are also green slimes. They are small and hard to see. IF you go past this point you are going to get swarmed by green slime that respawn really fast. Frustratingly fast. If you can kill them fine otherwise find a spot where you can wait for the compressed plague to spawn in the "large oval shaped flat area bounded by a slime moat".

I've realized that at some point after a patch (I didn't notice when), the cursor/pointer has become limited for clickable areas. It seems the cursor now, when it swaps to a hand to activate something, has a small corner/arrow on the top left and if that portion of the cursor is not hovering over the clickable area, will often miss the target.

That issue isn't only with this quest. although here seems harder to target. Lots of other instances like the poles of the chained remnants in Torghast, are only clickable if that little portion of the cursor moves over it, making it harder to target and activate. Oddly enough, once you've "broken" those chains, the cursor responds like it used to, which was by changing into a "hand" (with no corners/arrows), able to cover a wider area to be clicked. So, that recent form of cursor/pointer has less usability than the way it was. Hope some dev notices and changes it back.

Important ! There are TWO versions of this quest. Only one requires you to find and kill a compressed plague.
The other is simpler and only requires you to kill green slimes and slime giants. They alternate as best I can tell.

With flying, finding and reaching the Compressed Slime is much, much, easier.
I would still grab the mask jic but it's probably not necessary.

I am so getting tired of all these quests that don't say a damn thing about how to actually do them. It makes no sense in setting and certainly not for a game. Why must they make third party sites like this one required to play the game?

buggy quest, had to use portal first at 60 72, compressed plague appeared as a big dot on minimap, had to fly around a lot to find it though. I died from lava xD
