Right outside the Absolution Crypt is a Darkwing Legionnaire. Hop on and delivery the packages.

Once in the air, move camera so it is looking directly down under you. The Legionnaire will fly over marked circles, press '1' when you are directly over them. Drop 10 in the circles, game over.

The easiest way to hit the target area is to put you camera directly above your character view.
And then just drop the cargo every time you path the outer ring of the target area, basically 1 flap of wings after you enter the area.

But It seems right now some circles are out of bounds of the flight path

There is no air resistance to account for upon dropping the deliveries, simply drop them when you are directly over the circle.

You can also spam click the drop ability to drop two packages in one circle, cutting down the WQ time in half :)

Aim camera straight down. Drop box when he is straight in the circle. Win.

As others have said, aim the camera straight down. There is no momentum to the drop.
However, the most simple way I've found is to hit drop at soon as the gargoyle's head touches the exiting part of the circle.

I hit dead center nearly every time I do it right.

I don't know if others have had this issue, but whenever I complete this quest and it loads and drops you in a doorway by the flightmaster, you cannot move. All spells work, as a druid you can transform etc. But movement keys and abilities do not work.

The only solution I've found is to relog. /reload does not work.

Though, normally, I avoid any sorts of vehicle quest, this is one of my favorite quests: Totally relaxing, and you can’t really miss if you hit your key when your toon is right above the center (camera top-down).

Bonus points for being a vehicle quest and bug-free (at least for me). A rarely seen, exotic combination.

For some reason the Sinrunner next to the Gargoyle also shows itself as part of the WQ, clicked it just to find out why and... apparently its for no reason as it just rides you to Darkhaven

The Darkwing Legionaire is at /way 71.43,41.07 next to the Halls of Atonement flightpath on the ground level.

I can confirm after trying this World Quest with two different keybinds, that spamming a keyboard key doesn't work anymore, however, if you manage to somehow keybind a mouse scroll up/down keybind on the ability, you can finish this World Quest with 3-4 circles instead of 10.

This is one of the worst drop quests ever added to the game. First off, despite what some of the commenters have said, the packages do NOT always drop straight down. The Gargoyle throws them in a rearward trajectory, then the guy "landing" the package moves forward as he falls, and then there is the variable altitude factor. the package moves father forward based on how far it falls. I have not yet found a guaranteed drop point that lands the package in the target at 100%. the best I've ever done is 10/12 drops. This is with locking the camera directly above as well as always trying to drop when the flying mount is exiting the target. it works on the ones that are close and intermediately far away, but the really far away targets are always misses and sometimes its a miss behind the target. I'm not a fan of this quest, I'd much prefer to just aim a target and be done.

Tip: If you click super-rapidly to drop a package, you'll actually drop two packages. If they both land in the circle you'll get two packages of credit, meaning you can do this quest in about half the time.

Make your drop exactly above the dropping circle/zone. Don't try to follow the laws of physics here trying to drop before you reach the spot. If you watch closely, the fiend carrying the supplies is thrown a bit backwards, thus compensating for the traveling speed and making the drop go straight down vertically.

As the 1rst post says, move you camera all the way see down from a perfect vertical point of view (perpendicular to ground). So you know when you're exactly on top of the dropping zone.

Want to shear a little trick that I use to make this world quest quick. All you need to do is create this macro and put it on your right bars and bind it to something, and then just spam the bind. You will get it done in one or two circles.

A random situation: i can't do this WQ with my Worgen Druid, because my character wont move when i finish/leave the WQ

The best way to do this?

Point the camera to look straight down and backwards as you are flying.

Drop the package when your toon on its mount is directly over the centre.

10/10. ;-)

Entering Battleground also got unstuck me. I remained unstuck after the Battleground.

1. Set your camera so it's looking straight down from above. and adjust the distance to be as far back as you can
2. Use your mouse to keep the view lined up with the direction of flight
3. There are two kinds of shots:
-- if the stonethingy goes straight into the circle, fire as soon as the whole head crosses in
-- if it kind of curls a bit as it heads into the circle, fire as soon as the saddle is in the circle.

I'm getting 10/10 to 10/12 with this method.

As of 2/22/2022, in patch 9.2, you are unable to drop more than one package at a time. It looks like an undocumented change, and I suspect the same for similar quests and world quests, such as the one in Korthia.

Don't worry about Physics and compensating for being off-center of the circle. Just drop when your mounts crotch is even with bottom of the circle.

New glitch? I hop on and he starts flying, but I don't have the icon for the packages to drop, so he just flies over them. Now THAT's frustrating! :D Have run this quite a few times and know how it goes, but that's just weird.

Also, yes, on a worgen, and when I dismount, I can't move from the landing.
