On the southern shore of Stranglethorn Vale, you'll find two Bloodsail camps and a rowboat. The charts and orders can spawn in either of the camps or on the rowboat. The Swashbucklers will be all around along the southern shore.

I cannot pick up the documents I find around the camps and my bloodsail swashbuckler kills are not counting. The quest is in my log, but nothing seems to be counting for it. Any ideas?

They both spawn in 3 different locations.
Here are the coordinates.

28:83 (The small boat)
27:83 (The large camp)
30:80 (The single tent)

Both the documents were on the table on the big camp to the south
guess i was lucky :-p

Does anyone have any idea on why I am unable to pick up the charts? I have all 10 kills plus the orders, but it won't let me pick up the charts. I have done it with a group, without a group. I have no idea what else to do. I can see the charts, a couple times in the boat, and then again in the tent. Please let me know what to do in order to beat this mission.

I found my charts at (27,83) I can't find the orders though...Anyone know where they are???

If you took orders and CANT, just cant, find charts, delete orders, pick up orders again from one of the spawns and charts will spawn.

there are 1 spawnpoint by the tenth, 1 by the boat and 3 in large camp.

One spawnpoint is on the create at the screenshot, the other 2 are by the table, one on the chair and one on the actuall tabel

Yeah right, if you have a lousy patience, do not try to do this quest now. the Charts appearing seems about the same category with an angel landing on the top of Big Ben, meaning, maybe sometimes has happened, but seems impossible. I have tried to destroy the orders, abandon and retake the quest etc etc and no goddamn charts anywhere. always the orders. This sucks.

Huh...I musta got lucky. Found the orders in the boat and the charts on the table, and only had to kill three or so warlocks and a swashbuckler to get the charts. Level 45 BE pally; exorcism is a great thing against those imps!

In the course of this quest and the other ones mentioned above,you will come across a lot of warlocks,and chances are that you will have to fight a few.It was easy for me as a Level 42 Combat/Subtlety Orc Rogue-I sapped the warlocks,then ambushed and finished off their minions,which are either Succubi or Imps.The minions on their own were not too difficult,but when I Backstabed the warlocks they had the hugely infuriating Curse of Weakness,which lowers your attack power.Watch it,guys!

This quest has (in the past) been one of the worst rumps because nobody wants to kill the warlocks- and the warlocks seem to share a spawn with the swashbucklers. Believe me, finding the orders/charts is usually the easy part.

As a shaman, at least, if you drop a stoneclaw totem by the demon before doing anything else, you'll distract it long enough for you to scrag its master, then finish it off at your leisure.

BTW, there seems to be two separate spawn points in the boat, because I found both in it at the same time- one on the seat and one on the floor.

Found both of mine on a boat at 27.75 , 83.12. Out of the range of a pair of warlocks by a tent. One at a time is ok, but two warlocks + two minions = sad panda!

Quest is bugged/incorrect. The Swashbuckler type mobs do not exist, possibly Blizzard got confused with the Raiders, as there are only Raiders, Warlocks and Mages. So even though you can get the quest items you will not be able to finish as it asks you to kill 10 mobs that don't exist, heh.

Quest doesn't seem bugged for me. Bloodsail swashbuckler's spawn at the confirmed co ordinates (27,83) in Stranglethorn. They tend to stand infront of each tent entrance with a couple wandering around close by.

Chart and Orders at 28.73 but the swashbucklers are harder then anything to find. 2 spawn at the camp with the charts and the rest are scattered along the beach. Might have to wait for a few respawns to get all 10

If you don't find the charts & orders at one spot, just go back and forth. I went down to the big camp and found the order and walked back up to the small camp and found the charts.

"Up to Snuff" as mentioned above is a very good quest to do with this one as you get get a very good drop rate of snuff from the swashbucklers and an okay rate from the warlocks. Be careful as the warlocks do have imps & succubus' minions and I've seen 3 of them at the big camp in close proximity.

I was late doing this quest and soloed it as a level 47 enhancement shaman. But you should be able to do it at a lower level.

This quest is horrible on high population servers. I've been at it for a half hour and only have 3 swashers down, thanks to A) warlocks spawning too much and B) everybody is hogging the swashbucklers. Good luck if you're on a high/full pop server.

For some who may have done this quest a few times and you think there are just 2 places they(Bloodsail Charts and the Bloodsail Orders) spawn ( like we did) there are more. Most of the time the items can be found in the little boat and on a crate in the large camp.
But they can also be found in the small camp right next to each other, one on a box and the other almost in the tent.
The next is both in the large camp and to the N of the guy who is green, I think one was on a box and the other on the ground.
Someone in our group said they once found one on a box in the small camp and the other on a box in the larger camp.
So far, I have not found them split except for the boat and the box by the large camp.
Yes, grab the up to snuff quest because that drop rate is just so so and it gets worse when 3 are trying to do it.

Another spawn point for the Swashbucklers, though a little out of the way, is just southwest of the Gurubashi Arena, around 23,53. If the area east of Booty Bay is heavily camped, you may want to check it out.

They should make this quest easier and change the kill requirement from 10 swashbucklers to 45 warlocks.

Very funny quest! I went to zone, no one else was around. I killed all swashbucklers in the zone and 4-5 warlocks to get the items. I was at 5/10 for swashbucklers after that. Waited like 5 mins for them to respawn. Guess what only 1 swashbuckler respawned. The rest were all warlocks. I killed a few warlocks and an 80 come killed the rest and went away. A few minutes later 3 more swashbucklers respawned. Now trying to find the last one!

The Bloodsail Buccaneers

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Fleet Master Seahorn in Booty Bay wants you to kill 10 Bloodsail Swashbucklers and bring back the Bloodsail Charts and the Bloodsail Orders.
