Has this quest been available once yet?

It took like 8 Night fae assaults to get the first Just Don't Ask Me To Spell It.

I feel like this one is even worse off.

This quest is finally available on 10/1 for NA.

Throw the potion BEFORE you kill the guys. Remember to pick up runes off the ground. Overall pretty easy and straightforward.

If you don't turn the quest in you can still use the potion on other mobs in perdition hold if you need to complete other quests in there.

This quest seems really unintuitive to me.

- You'll only see the icon for the potion you have to throw when you are in or near Perdition Hold even though the quest text says nothing about this requirement.
- I've only seen it actually work when I'm in Perdition Hold.
- It aggros whoever you throw it on. So even if they're fighting NPC's get ready for them to go for you once you throw the potions.
- The runes will appear on the ground but will disappear if you take too long to kill the mob. And since you aggro them from the potion you have to kill them first, so you're screwed if it takes too long.
- Some mobs have these appear in their loot. It seems like only elites, but can't be 100% sure.

- Like alpanhell already said, the potion icon only shows up when you are in Perdition Hold.
- If You and What Army is up the same day, wait to turn it in until after you are done with this quest, as you can use the NPC who helps you with that quest to help you kill the mobs you need for this quest.
- Also, if You and What Army is up the same day, the Mawchained Rampagers and Mawchained Demolishers you need to kill for that quest will have a few (2-3) of the runes you need for this quest as loot. They won't drops runes on the ground, though, without using the potion on them first.

As a helpful tip: Throw the potion INSIDE Perdition Hold towards some mobs. These don't have to be elite mobs, any "Rune-powered.." will do. They will drop runes (typically 4-8) that you can just pick up. often you need to kill the mobs so you can collect them. You can also pick up runes dropped by mobs, that are engaged in combat with another faction character.

If you have this quest and You and What Army, you will only see one of the buttons. Hint: you can drag and drop the button to your actionbar and see the other button.

This is very difficult to do in Midnight onwards due to our damage output. The potions will one-shot the mobs and not give you any runes. I found taking off all my gear and going naked, while pulling at least three to share the splash damage worked. Pick up the runes and outrun the mobs so they de-aggro and you don't complete the quest before you get all your runes.

Description

The Jailer's troops use anima charged runes to empower their armor. Without those runes, the troops will be significantly weaker! I developed this special formula to remove tough laundry stains, but it should be capable of removing magical runes as well! Splash my Putrification Potion on Rune-hardened troops, the bigger the better! Then collect the runes that fall off, so I can extract their anima.
