Ok, this one was a bit confusing for me, hopefully I can help. So after you climb the ramp in the instance and talk to Navorrogg and chose "I am ready", it puts you outside the instance in Highmountain with no further direction.
Clicking on Ebonhorn just shows "I will meet you in the chamber"
I could not find a way to teleport back to Silithus from there so I went to back to Zuldazar and took the portal back to Silithus and then clicked on the triangle to take me back into the chamber.
the quest log says to go to Dalaran then back to Orgrimmar which would then take you to Silithus.
If there was a quicker way please let me know. Judging from all the people standing around outside the instance I think more people were confused.

Instructions in the quest provide an Optional path - take the portal in the Crumbled Palace (Azsuna) to Stormwind/Orgrimmar, and then the portal to Boralus/Zul'dazar. Basically get back to Silithus however you want.

After completing this quest, I was unable to hearth until I moved away from the quest area about 50 yards or so. Not sure if I was supposed to hearth or not, but there didn't seem another way to get back to Silithus easily.

Windrunner's Sanctuary is in Dalaran. You are supposed to use the Dalaran Heartstone and than get to Orgrimmar via a portal located in Windrunner's Sanctuary. This is an optional path and u can get to Orgrimmar any way that suits you.

Just don't bother going outside to talk to Navarrogg. Just Hearth and get to Silithus any way that is best for you. If you think that Blizzard told you to talk to Navarrogg for a quick portal back to Silithus, you'd be wrong. That would just have been too obvious :)

Funny how Blizzard has you take a portal to get to Highmountain and do this quest, but doesn't give you a portal back to the chamber. I don't know if they did that on purpose, but it drives me nuts each time I take an alt.

Even on live servers (as of 8.2.0 live at least), the dialogue between (assumedly) M.O.T.H.E.R and Ebonhorn & Magni is missing. It's implied that she provides an analysis of Ebonhorn, revealing him as a black dragon to Magni. In-game, this line is never spoken, effectively creating a period of awkward silence before the conversation continues on like normal without Mother saying a word. It may seem trivial, but errors like this are expected on PTR. The fact that it made it to live though kind of removes a bit of immersion (and we miss out on that sweet voice acting) on an otherwise polished story this patch.

MOTHER says: Draconic presence detected. Designation: Ebyssian, black dragonflight. Lack of Old God corruption indicates low threat probability.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Ah, it's good tae meet a black dragon that isn't tryin' tae kill us all! Ebyssian, is it? I'm Magni Bronzebeard.
Spiritwalker Ebonhorn says: Well met, Speaker Magni. In my tauren form, I am known as Ebonhorn. As the construct said, I am here to help.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Did ye recover the essence that MOTHER detected?
Spiritwalker Ebonhorn says: Neltharion was once tasked with protecting Azeroth. It is my duty to see the essence carry on that legacy.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Ye understand the essence better than we do, Ebonhorn. We'd be grateful for any guidance ye can provide.

Looking for turnin? Head to your Pathfinder's Den in Orgrimmar, take the Cavers of Time portal and fly west to Silithus. Or head back to Zandalar and do it the easy way - you're not going back to the Storm Peaks..

Wowhead says this quest is started by Highmountain Shaman, but for me it is actually started by Spiritwalker Ebonhorn. I must have missed it the first time around so I had to go all the way back to Highmountain just to get this quest to tell me to go back to the chamber of heart. Grmpfmpf.

The portal to Orgimmar in Dalaran is on the wall behind the class trainers in a circular area in Windrunner's Sanctuary.

I was in the Heart Forge, talked to Mother and I went to use the Petrified Ebony Scale item in my backpack but rather than letting me complete the quest it teleported me to Orgrimmar. Now the item is gone (consumed) and I have NO way to complete the quest. I don't know if it's a bug or not since this is the first Horde character I've played in many years. (I'll submit a bug report)

So, I took the portal in Orgimmar to Zuldazar -> Silithus -> Chamber of Heart and the quest "The Heart Forge" is not completed and the item to complete the quest is gone.
