She vanished when she got to the book and showed up as back at the start of the escort. Then when I got to the start of the escort area, she vanished again. Logging out and back in put her back up at the book.

Hopefully this is fixed by live.

Click the rubbles at doorway before she comes to it. To me the stones vanished and the escort became stuck. Relogging made npc start from the beginning, but it worked without needing to abandon and restart quest.

I'm trying to complete this quest, i get to the second lot of awakened revenants and then lucille just stays cowering in fear, tried restarting the quest and got the same result. Wondering how i can complete this quest as i would like to be able to continue the quest line.

If she disappears when the quest is finished, relog and she will appear again.

she got stuck after the second wave of elementals... i cant get much further from that point...

To complete the quest you have to escort Lucille in to Gol Var.
During the jorney slay mobs along the Lucille Text
After burning the effigy down, go futher and proceed until you found Awakened Revenants

first attempt rubble spawned
second i clicked while she was at second wave and then she wouldn't move on
third attempt i clicked rubble as she finished the line with "unwanted hands" and it worked

I was having a grand old time questing my way alongside Lucille until she started being super proud of coming from an ultra violent colonist heritage where their claim to fame was being mad someone else was there first and wanted to stay there. "Barbarians", for real? Blizzard this was kind of tone-deaf.

For people more interested in the story and lore, here's the story Lucille tells on the way down the cave.

Long ago, when Kul Tiras was first settled, our people encountered a savage group of warmongering barbarians. They called themselves the Drust.
Drustvar was their ancestral home. It was from here that they launched endless raids into our fledgeling hamlets.
This carried on for countless years, until the ancestors of House Waycrest decided that something had to be done.

Wait... what was that? Look out!
I'm sorry, <class>. The coven's magic must be disturbing the spirits of the ancient Drust. We'll have to be careful.

My ancestors fought against stone constructs much like these in their war against the Drust.
The Waycrests have always been hearty folk, but the Drust's magic was strong. We were losing the war...
In the end, it was our scholars that turned the tide...

(you get attacked again)

As I was saying, the tide of the war shifted when our scholars began to uncover weaknesses in the Drust's magic.
They compiled what they learned into a treatise on weapons and tactics that could be used to defeat the barbarians.
Armed with this knowledge, our men started driving the Drust back into their mountain holds.
They kept that knowledge hidden here, safe from unwanted hands.

Don't join a BG or something like that while doing this stupid quest because it will reset and you will have to start from scratch

When we got to the pile of rubble, it wasn't actionable. Went back out and got Lucille again and had the same result. Typed /reload ui and that did it!

So I ended up having to do this quest three times. The stones never disappeared, but once I clicked on the stones, the stone construct that spawns would disappear and bug the quest unless I went immediately to aggro him.

I use Stealth (my mistake) when fighting the last elemental, and it disappears, and never appeared again...

I am having big issues with this. Just after the rubble is removed the last boss just disappears. She is stuck shaking.
I am not sure how to fix so have to redo the quest.

I tried relogging and /reload but nothing fixed it.

I hope this is fixed as it seems like an old bug.

EDIT: DO NOT stealth or use Vanish
