If you can't right click on the mysterious red crystal at 47,48, then you probably forgot to fill the vial first at the Auberdine moonwell.

37,43 is the correct loc for the moonwell and 47,48 is for the red crystal

to be exact, it is 37.8, 44.0 and it's few meters right next to the questgiver (on the right side)

I don't know how you could NOT know where the water is, it's LITERALLY right behind you. All you need to do is turn around and fill the flask....

The Mysterious Red Crystal is located at exactly (47.32,48.66). It is really large and in a rather undulating and hilly area. There will be 3 x level 12 Raging Moonkin to contend with so come prepared.

You must right click on the object.Things like Frost Nova are your friend. Even at level 17, wearing only questing greens, my frost mage decided it was better to pick off one or two and run in, Frost Nova the thrid, get the quest credit, and run! Saved on having to wait to heal up.

As Water Cascades

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

Fill the Empty Water Tube at the Auberdine moonwell, and then investigate the red crystal along Darkshore's eastern mountain wall.

Description

Use this empty vial and fill up on some moonwell water here in Auberdine. Such potent magic should provide a clue as to the composition of the crystal. To do that, you'll pour the liquid over the crystal; it should take care of the rest.

While I don't anticipate anything bad happening to you, I still want you to be careful. Above us to the east is Felwood; if that crystal is tied to that place as I suspect it is, then it could prove to be very dangerous.
