If you have already started the next area quest chain before finishing this pre-quest, you can accept yet another area starting quest at your command table, and then abandon it (and then take it again when you wish to actually do quests there).
Or, if you have accepted all the area starting quests at once, but haven't yet started doing them, you can abandon one of those quests and then accept it again.
This way you won't have the "Pressing the Assault" quest hanging unfinished in the background.

Had a quest named , it told me to go to my order hall. I went there and saw that I could strike a new area.
Before I was going to strike it I wanted to get my next artifact-weapon, when I got back to the order hall it nothing appeared. So ,, I removed the quest in mind I could take it again in Dalaran. I can't find it now, that's the problem.

I got the quest from the portal in the middle of Dalaran. It was a "Pop-up Quest".

Please do help, how can I find this quest again?

To finish this quest, click on the third tab at the bottom of your command map window, and select a zone.

The part that directs your followers on quests is the first tab, and a list of your followers is the second ... it didn't occur to me there was a third tab at first. By the way, your Command Map might have a slightly different name - in the Mage hall, it is called a "Scouting Map".

This is just a "helping" bread crumb quest to guide you into the questing zones. If you already completed leveling you can simply abandon it. It has no followup. If you abandoned it, but already explored several zones, it won't be offered again. This is supposed to be a quest for new players and help them get into the questing zones. Once you started questing in several zones, there is no need to guide you to them. I am actually amazed at this smart quest design :)

Maybe somebody can help me. I could not before choose a third point so i tried to abbandon and now i cannot take Q again. Somebody know where can i take it again? Thank you

how can i find my order hall? its on the mini map but I can't get to it.

Has anyone done this quest with a Priest?

It sounds dumb but I can't seem to find where I start this quest. I can see the yellow at Dalaran but I can't get to it.

Another way to complete this if like me the scouting map did not work, in my case I flew to the yellow ! in stormheim, took and accepthed the quest "Pressing The Assault" auto completed. Hope this helps, pretty sure doing the same thing in Azsuna with Into The Fray would work, I think the Khadgar head in the ball to send you to Valsharah, which I had accepted, tried abandoning is something to do with my bug issue. I wanted to do Stormheim as my second zone on one of my characters.

So one of the quests assigned to my character was "Pressing the Assault" and I'm at the part where it wants me to select the next strike point. I've taken a look through the comments and notes, but I'm still having issues completing the quest. First, I did boost my character as I originally only intended for her to be used for PVP only, but the more I spent time on her, the more I wanted to do quests. I've taken her down to the Hall of Shadows (rogue hall) and the map it's telling me to interact with won't let me. It just shows the hand icon, but nothing else. I'm really lost. Is there a quest I need to complete prior?

In legion there are 4 breadcrumb quests to the next zone: Pressing the Assault, Isle Hopping, Scouring What Remains and Master of the Isles

First of all you need to get each quest to pop.
After the first zone (dungeon quest) you will get Pressing the Assault,
after the second zone (dungeon quest) you will get Isle Hopping,
after the third zone (dungeon quest) you will get Scouring What Remains ,
and finally after your fourth zone (dungeon quest) you will get your last breadcrumb quest Master of the Isles.

If u have trouble getting credit for those quests cause u have been to others zone already or you are trying go get them on your main in party-sync, there is a little workaround for it. Therefore you need to join a group with a character that has the quest Stormheim available. Then you simply party-sync with the 2nd character, accept Stormheim and it will autocomplete your breadcrumb quest.

Yes, it also works for Master of the Isles even though there were only 4 zones back in the days.
